I haven't even listened to the new album yet, and here I am already losing my mind on 😢 But man, that Concert was absolutely insane. When they finally ripped into Californian Dreamer right before the encore... ugh, I'm still reeling. 😍😍
I swear, if Billy doesn't absolutely tear the roof off this festival like no headliner before him, I'll eat my hat. Just imagine when he drops White Wedding, followed by Sweet 16, then hits them with Rebel Yell... the crowd is going to lose their absolute minds. Honestly, the only one who could even come close to matching that energy is Halid, but word on the street is he's tied up with something else...☕
Seriously, they’ve already milked every bit of juice out of modern music. Now what? They're gonna dig up some old relics who have a combined age of about 300 years? It's a joke. They haven't even put out a decent, honest vinyl record since '73. 👍
Man, how they totally played us while everyone was busy arguing about which garage band is the absolute greatest of all time... they were on the complete opposite side of the fence the whole time. 😍
I’m thinking we’re talking about the Scorpions here. And look, as much as people love to make fun of Sale around here, I actually thought he was pretty good—even funny at times. You know, that whole "perpetual soccer player" thing, and that absolute terror known as Wind of Change... 😛
Kyle Jackson54 said:Look, hearing music on MTV isn't the issue. The issue is when you start acting like an MTV superstar. That constant need to engage with the crowd, begging everyone to sing along to those tracks that you actually listen to alone in your living room because they're so damn intimate...
Apparently, I’m going to have to spend a little more time with this incredibly boring record. I can practically feel the lack of intellect coming off this guy. I used to think he was just too arrogant for his own good, but turns out he's just indie levels of tedious—as if the only thing that matters is how much some random drifter in Wisconsin digs his little "artistic" ideas... which, clearly, is just so incredibly cool. 🙄

Honestly, this is a total disaster. Someone who doesn't really understand Greek will have a hard time figuring out what they're even singing about because the vocals are recorded catastrophically poorly. Thank god this bunch of "experts" knows enough Greek that they don't even mind that you can't hear half the consonants👍 As long as they're anti-fascist, anti-glo, and anti-everything else, right?🙄
The band itself is actually pretty decent though.🙂
I’ve already done a quick search for narrow-mindedness and the sheer exclusivity of the music snobs hanging out here, but these headers above? They’re basically the absolute rock bottom of human depravity... 😢
What a total waste of space. Look, we all love Radiohead, but nobody was there from day one... 😕 And we can't even agree on anything in this specific Radiohead topic, which makes it an even bigger waste of time...🙄 For me, it’s gotta be OK Computer 🤷
It started out with those rare, legitimate rockers—you know, the Rockers from the Mississippi. Then I ended up trading my buddy's old cassette box just to score five tubes of that Tiger glue from Pirot, and that’s when I stumbled onto Slayer Satan and S. o. d. But then? Everything just went to hell. We moved into the era of CDs (which, honestly, I still recommend) and all that mindless noise, and well... now everything is just 🙂
Man, I was just thinking back to how we used to spend our time in the Stone Age, flipping through every single music magazine we could get our hands on at the American Embassy near Central Park. It didn't take us long to figure out which writers actually shared our vibe, and once we cracked that code, all we had to do was track down those specific albums...😬
Brenda Scott14 said:I was thinking more along the lines of those super trivial teenage personality traits. You know, like when I was 15 and my entire identity revolved around one band—I had the backpack with their name on it, the t-shirt, even the patches on my jacket. I was just totally obsessed. 🙂 And that’s the bottom line. That’s the most important thing you need to know about me. 🙂
😍
Around here, it was always one of two things: either you were actually getting stuff done, or you were just busy carving out a path for those long-winded, taxpayer-funded vacations. 😳
And when he actually picks up the guitar (well, in my case, the bass)... 🙂 You think you’re some kind of genius just because you’ve got a little ego, thinking you're gonna craft the greatest rock concert in history? Give me a break. 😳 )
Harold Wright54 said:I have to admit, I get hit with an instant wave of anxiety whenever someone just dismisses something they don't personally vibe with by calling it garbage or saying it's "going straight to hell."
That’s exactly what I meant. I've fallen for that exact same trap more times than I care to admit, just like I said before...😉
Brenda Scott14 said:Basically, let me reiterate, I think this hyper-available, hyper-productive culture we're drowning in today changes *how* we consume things—we've become way more impatient and less willing to give stuff a fair shake—but it doesn't change the actual authenticity of the experience itself. Truly great things are just as real and just as good as they ever were.
And regarding Arthur Barnes, I clearly disagree. 🙂
*compared to back in the Walkman era, for instance.
No matter how much choice we have, I still feel like you have to commit to something fully if you actually want to get the full experience out of it... though it's not like we're forced to go through all that extra effort anymore. 🙂
Awwww, I don't think I've felt this much joy on this board since, what, 2003? 😍
Arthur Barnes, you're being incredibly consistent in defending your worldview, but just like Brenda Scott14 pointed out, even to me, it's looking pretty inhuman... 😢
