I need some help—does anyone know where I can find an extra-long pareo? I’m looking for one that goes all the way down to my ankles, and since I’m a size 14 or 16, I need something with actual coverage... ideally for a beach trip. I couldn't find anything at Gap... And does H&M still not carry larger sizes in our stores? I'm asking specifically about pants... I’d probably just order them online, but sizing is always such a headache for me—though maybe elastic waists would make things easier...🤔 I'm not really the type to spend my weekends wandering around shopping malls. Basically, where should I be looking for size 16 pants?🕺
Thanks, Susan Anderson33.. As for me, I pick up tunics, shirts, and pants at H&M—though honestly, they only hit the mark on both fit and style about once. I have this one amazing pair from H&M that stays perfectly pressed—they were $83, but man, they're great... Stores like Kohl's or Target don't really carry that specific style of pants, but I'll grab a jacket, some tees, or maybe some joggers at Kohl's when they have a sale for $67, which is actually a pretty good deal...
Scott Patel53 and I am wondering about the same thing... specifically regarding the choice of shorts—something with a thicker, winter-weight fabric. Black, classic style, size 52-56... anyone have any leads?🤔
I’m looking for some help here—not really sure which subforum this belongs in... but I’m in a bit of a bind.
I’ve got a relatively new HP 1515—only about seven months old—and we mostly use it for work stuff. We just swapped out the cartridges for the first time (using original Ink Advantage), but now it won't print in color. The scanner works perfectly fine, and when I run a test page, the colors show up just fine... so everything seems okay during the diagnostic tests. And don't worry, I definitely have the settings toggled to "Color" mode! ...I'm honestly at my wit's end. I need to get some contracts printed out urgently, complete with original signatures and seals... 😠 Does anyone have any ideas?? Black ink is printing perfectly fine. I've already tried running the alignment and cleaning cycles a few times... nothing has changed. 😢
Watched a movie last night—it was sweet enough, I guess... the cast was pretty likable too. Overall, I don't regret spending two hours at the theater (except maybe $3.75 for half a liter of Cabernet 👎)!
Maybe try picking up some zinc oxide ointment—I grabbed some at a local CVS, and since they make it themselves, it's pretty solid. It’s white and has a really thick consistency, which makes it perfect for applying right before bed, especially if you're dealing with those pale, dry feet.
He’s dealing with ulcerative colitis, though we don't think that's actually what's causing this. On top of that, he gets pretty worked up over our finances—which are basically non-existent right now👎 ...and he tends to keep everything to himself, especially when he's messing with the money... I told him he needs to see a doctor, so we'll just have to wait and see. thnx
I could use some "help." Last night, my husband just started shaking uncontrollably out of nowhere. He was trembling hard—his hands were ice cold, almost like he had zero circulation in his fingers... I gave him some Advil and a cup of tea, then tucked him in under three heavy blankets. He wasn't in any pain, but we were both pretty freaked out. He actually had a root canal yesterday—he’s always been terrified of the dentist—so I thought maybe it was just some kind of delayed shock from the procedure (it happened about five hours after he left the clinic). The shaking eventually stopped after two hours, but he spent the rest of the night sweating through the sheets. He took an Aleve before trying to sleep, too.
That kind of thing can really take a toll on you—stress hitting your muscles or even messing with your stomach... I found some relief by taking 3M tablets, but honestly, you should probably see a doctor and get an EKG just to be safe.
This has to be talking about Huber, right? The diet is pretty strict, but man, the results are incredible. The thing is, there aren't really any portion limits—you just eat the allowed foods until you're actually full. A friend of mine dropped 65 pounds in about three and a half months. She gained 4 or 5 back briefly, but she told me just yesterday that they're officially gone now. The weight shouldn't come back if you transition into healthy eating slowly—that's what the program suggests, really. Once you finish the treatment, you move toward something like the Montignac way of eating. But honestly, the most important part is that dieting doesn't feel like a chore because you feel great and you aren't constantly hungry...
Cheers to youth!!! I can honestly say I’ve never even touched weed, let alone anything "harder"—I don't smoke, though I did try it once just out of curiosity and, well, it wasn't exactly life-changing. I really feel like I haven't missed out on anything... those younger years were plenty fun with bad company, the occasional drink, and good music. I don't really get the urge to experiment—we all know where that road leads, right? I'll be turning 30 soon enough. Adios
Thought I’d jump in here and weigh in on the PCOS conversation. I've been dealing with this since my early teens—about 13 years now. I was always a bit on the heavier side, but things really spiraled about seven years ago when my hormones went haywire. My thyroid basically decided to quit on me, and over the next few years, I put on nearly 90 pounds. It was brutal... I don't ovulate, and my doctor basically tells me it's because of my weight. I was prescribed Metformin—two pills a day—along with some dietary changes. I'm not doing any extreme fad diets, just sticking to Montignac. From what I've read, a low-glycemic diet seems to be the gold standard for managing PCOS weight issues. The progress has been slow but steady. I've been working out at home, and now that spring is finally showing up, I'm feeling a bit more motivated. Plus, wanting to start a family is a huge driver for me—I'm 30, married for almost three and a half years. I'm wondering if anyone else here has dealt with significant weight issues and PCOS, yet still managed to conceive naturally? That’s my biggest fear. By the time I drop those 45 pounds... man, time is ticking. I'm terrified we might end up having to turn to IVF.
Just wanted to say huge congrats, seriously, great job!!!!!!!!! As for the skin—I honestly don't know much to suggest besides staying on top of moisturizer, keeping active, and maybe looking into some cosmetic procedures🙂 . How on earth did you manage on just 500 calories? Just be careful now... you really want to avoid that yo-yo effect👍
