Best private clinics in Washington, D.C.? in Health ·
I guess I’ve had this absolutely disastrous experience with the sun over at Central Park, though I have to say, my time with UnitedHealth Group was actually quite good 😕 😕

When it comes to finding GHI butter, I usually head straight to those specialized health food stores—you know, the ones that focus on organic stuff—or maybe even one of those macrobiotic nutrition shops, which I honestly think would be a great idea for Vani too. It’s essentially thermally processed butter, if that makes sense. Regarding the ratio, I guess I personally tend to mix about three small teaspoons of turmeric (just the spice itself, obviously) for every 100 ml of butter. I really, truly hope you can get this issue sorted out as quickly as possible, because I know just how incredibly painful it can be. Also, please don't overlook what you're eating; I mean, having one grain-based meal every day is pretty much essential, along with drinking plenty of water and cutting out all those heavily seasoned or "unhealthy" foods entirely.

So, I was thinking about this little remedy involving some external hemorrhoid cream—you know, the kind you can just pick up at a local Whole Foods or a similar organic grocery store—and then mixing it with some turmeric spice. I guess if you combine them together, you could actually use the mixture as a topical ointment.😲
Primavera oils in Health ·
Which eucalyptus oils are you looking at (since there are quite a few varieties out there), and I'm wondering why you're leaning toward eucalyptus specifically—do you just really love the scent, or are you trying to achieve a certain effect? To be honest, I don't think it's exactly the best choice for anything involving oral use, as I guess there might be some other oils that work a bit better for that purpose.

I’m not 100% certain if I can pull that off with Primavera, though I’m pretty sure I can make it work with Oshadhi. Of course, it really all comes down to the specifics, like how many drops of which particular oil we're talking about, right?
Headaches caused by back pain? in Health ·
Maybe get an MRI of your spine (not that it's actually hurting 🙂 ) but honestly, you should probably run it by your doctor first, because if they tell you there isn't any structural damage or anything mechanical going on, then I guess you could just focus on things like regular exercise, staying active, maybe some yoga, or getting a massage—basically just anything else that seems to help.
Looking for recommendations for a good GP? in Health ·
Thanks so much for all the suggestions, though most of what I was actually looking for is stuff you guys have already mentioned 🙂 To be honest, the last time I had a primary care physician—which was maybe fifteen years ago now—it was just such a bad experience, and even the doctor I saw before her wasn't any better, really. They both seemed so completely uninterested in anything 👎 And I promise, I’m honestly not a complicated person at all 😕 I guess I just look for a little bit of attention, some actual focus, intelligence, and genuine compassion, and even then, I feel like I only find that about once every three years on average.

If it isn't too much trouble, I was wondering if you could tell me what makes this recommended doctor so great? 🙂 I mean, I've been searching all over Brooklyn, Santa Monica, and the Beltway area... just kind of wandering around somewhere in that vicinity
I honestly feel like it’s just way better to go out of your way and grab some high-quality essential oils, you know? Like, if you're looking at things such as mandarin, lemon, eucalyptus, peppermint, or even lavender, those aren't actually that pricey at all—they're pretty affordable, really—and you won't have to worry about any weird side effects or anything like that. Plus, I guess the scent itself is just so much more vibrant and lovely when you're using the good stuff instead of the cheap synthetic versions 😍

Listen, I actually walked into a pharmacy one afternoon and asked them to pull out every single hemorrhoid cream they had on the shelf just so I could see if there was anything left that I hadn't tried yet. Honestly, though, none of those creams that people keep mentioning in these posts really did a thing for me. I think my stress levels played a massive role in how bad things got, too. You know that feeling—where you end up running to the bathroom five times a day because you're so worked up, and every single time you go, you just feel like banging your head against a wall? It’s like this endless, exhausting loop. It wasn't until I finally managed to calm myself down—and it actually took me an entire week of vacation to do it—that things started to settle, especially since I was using everything from aloe vera juice and chlorella to magma and various Ayurvedic remedies. In the end, I just ended up using St. John's Wort and sesame oil, which honestly felt perfectly fine, maybe even better than all those expensive creams I went through. As for the Dolokain, that actually gave me a bit of an upset stomach.
I guess it might actually be kind of risky if you’re trying to use basic supplements instead of using pure essential oils for that purpose. I mean, you really want the real deal, like stuff from brands such as Spring, Oshadhi, or Pranar. Generally speaking, most of the other things you can just pick up at a local drugstore here aren't the genuine article.

After enduring almost eight months of constant, daily pain 😲 following a massive box of Tylenol (which didn't do a thing), and trying every single over-the-counter cream you can find at a local CVS (none of which helped either), it was actually a total overhaul of my diet—switching to low-sodium, bland, non-spicy meals and making sure I had one serving of whole grains every day—that finally made me feel healthy again 😍 And honestly, the most vital part was drinking about twice as much water as I used to, and I am genuinely convinced that staying hydrated played a huge role in how good I feel now.
Freezing temperatures in Health ·
I ended up going through three whole boxes back-to-back, though I suppose that’s probably what the recommended dosage is supposed to be, anyway. And honestly, yeah, it was a total lifesaver for me. I think I've even made it a bit of a ritual where I start using them the second winter starts to set in here in the States. 🙂
Freezing temperatures in Health ·
I honestly struggle so much with feeling cold during the winter months, though I suppose maybe it’s not quite as brutal as it was about ten years ago, or perhaps winters just aren't quite as harsh these days, I guess 😕 For me, it all stems from having pretty terrible circulation, which leaves my hands and feet feeling absolutely frozen all the time. I actually started taking some Ginkgo Biloba supplements, and honestly, they were a total lifesaver for me. Since Ginkgo is known to help with blood flow, it really seemed to do the trick. So, I figured I’d mention it, because maybe it might help someone else out just like it helped me. 😍

I mean, I’ve used that stuff from Čeliković before, and honestly, it just didn't seem to do anything for me at all.
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
I just received some advice suggesting that hemorrhoids might actually be treated using a blend of oil and turmeric spice. To be honest, I’ve been through it all—nothing from Tylenol or Detralex to Hemeroidin, not even chestnut capsules or various ointments, and frankly, none of those pharmacy creams seemed to do a lick of good for me. Right now, I’m in a pretty decent place because I’m being really careful about my diet and I’ve started applying this specific oil and turmeric mixture. So, if this turns out to be a helpful tip for anyone else out there, I’ll be truly happy about it. I recently had a consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner who gave me a whole bunch of dietary guidance along with some Ayurvedic supplements that I've just started incorporating into my routine. I’m really hoping that this might finally be the ultimate solution🙂 for this "painful"😲 little issue.
I mean, if there's one thing I've learned from my own personal struggles, it’s that the absolute most important thing is making sure you aren't dealing with hard stools, because that just makes everything so much worse. In my experience—and I really think this helps—the best way to keep things moving smoothly is to start your day with some whole grains paired with milk, though I've found that using soy or oat milk might be a bit gentler, even if you do stick to dairy every single morning. If you do this, your movements should stay soft, which hopefully won't irritate those existing hemorrhoids you're dealing with. And honestly, I guess it wouldn't hurt to just cut out all the junk food entirely, like, every single bit of processed nonsense, if you want to see real results.

Carol Sanders98 said:btw sorry about any typos, I wasn't exactly sitting comfortably so my fingers kept missing the keys, anyway, question: has anyone actually tried this new PILEX capsule thing (7 capsules for about $100, 14 -$167) and maybe does anyone have some home remedies for keeping things moving more regularly?? thnx

Well, I went through a whole big pack of PILEX and honestly, nothing, it didn't help even 1%. I've been dealing with external hemorrhoids. Personally, I wouldn't waste your money on it; just go see a doctor and see what they actually recommend for you.

So, I guess I’ll just jump in here and join the conversation, because honestly, I’m looking for the exact same thing myself, so I was wondering if maybe anyone who might have some solid recommendations could please reach out to me...😘

If you happen to be dealing with stuff like this and feel more comfortable leaning toward natural remedies, I guess you might want to reach out to Stribor Marković over at the Cedrus Center.
