Maybe some people are gonna jump in here and start acting like they know everything, but honestly, I don't really care... I just know I'm one of the few folks who actually liked Halloween. For me, the movie was actually pretty solid. I didn't go into it looking at it as some kind of Carpenter remake. I treated it like its own thing, and if you look at it from that perspective, it’s not bad at all.☕
Jos and 100 Slipknot, Brand New, Billie Eilish, Panic! At The Disco, Metallica(😍) are absolute essentials. You gotta check them out. Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore, Linkin Park, Megadeth, 🙏
My absolute favorite flavor of metal I’d definitely recommend checking out Killswitch Engage, those early Metallica albums, and Trivium. Also, maybe the last Mudvayne record if you're feeling it. 😍 Silverstein, August Burns Red... there's plenty more where that came from. Basically just love Heavy Metal 🙏
Killer band with a solid mix of nu-metal and death metal vibes...🙏 They're playing in Seattle, but obviously I won't be able to make it...😠 Their 2008 album, a Sense of Purpose, is absolute gold...😍

Well, damn... just go see the Sisters instead of Nightwish then...🤷 if they're more your vibe...😉
I honestly can't be bothered to go back and re-listen to what's supposedly my favorite album—my buddy claims ssotcc is the peak—but whatever, fine. I'll download the rest of their stuff and just pray it actually holds its own against Dead Kennedys. They're easily my all-time favorites.
Dead Kennedys 👍🙏 I used to listen to them back in the day... but honestly? In my opinion, Rise Against isn't even in the same league as those guys.☕

Middle school—hit a phase with rap and hip-hop... High school—house, club hits, and local favorites... Nowadays? Honestly, I’ll listen to pretty much anything that doesn't suck, as long as it isn't cheesy pop or heavy metal...
😂 What even counts as "heavy metal" to you!! 😂 😂😂😂😂
hm.. I started out with Nirvana, messing around with some grunge stuff, but honestly? Nothing really clicked.. then I moved on to Metallica. after that, I did a complete 180 and dove straight into Metal.. specifically metalcore, death metal, black metal, and gothic metal. I can vibe with industrial too.. but heavy metal was never really my thing, except maybe Judas Priest. Or maybe two other bands here and there... oh yeah, I had a whole punk phase before the metal era kicked in... you know, Bad Religion, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Misfits, that kind of scene. bottom line: METAL 😍 and I'm pretty sure I'll be spinning the classics in the future, guaranteed.☕
Raymond Newman said:Sure, it’s power metal, but they definitely went overboard. I mean, Yngwie Malmsteen and Iron Maiden are also power metal, and they aren't all recycling the same tired themes.
They’re still stuck in the Baroque era... back then, you basically had one single theme running through an entire body of work...😂 ☕
