Chloe Morris12 said:I don't get why my question is being treated like some weird, hilarious joke. I still haven't gotten a straight answer. Gerald Barrett25, are you saying that a lot of movies AREN'T based on books?

Fine, here's a link. You tell us if 2,939 means most of them aren't or if it's actually a ton.😁😁

Chloe Morris12 said:So you guys labeled me a conspiracy theorist, but I was literally just asking if every movie is based on a book or not 😢

Look, don't feel pressured by the question, but what's your take? 🙂 😁😁

Could it be Jack McWriter ??? I heard he's actually pretty big time. 😕

🤣 🤣 Yeah, I think he's...
He even has his own website. Once you click through, you realize just how much of a show-off he is. www.jackmcwriter.net 😁😁

What exactly do you mean by "light drugs"? 😁 😁

For those out of the loop, the lady lives in New York City.

Stop stalling and just tell her the name of some movie director. 😁😁😁

I'm also wondering how much of this was based on books that were never even written?

How can you skip this? 😁 How many movies have you seen with this exact scene? Be honest.

🤣....🤔...I saw it once, but it wasn't a guy and there wasn't a tray involved.😁😁

It’s still gnufi, though... this might actually be one of his better ones.😁 😁

Carpenter rules!!!!👍
I mean, what more do you want from a guy?

Honestly, I don't even remember Verhoeven ever putting together two great movies... calling him "good then bad" feels like a stretch.
...
So, when was the last time you actually enjoyed a Carpenter flick? :-)

quietdriver3 said:(I guess three movies could still pass for a trilogy, but the fourth one is such an insult to the original run that I don't even count it as part of the franchise.)

The Alien series was easily one of the best trilogies ever made. Sure, the first one is untouchable, but the sequels are pretty much flawless. I avoided the fourth installment for years, finally gave in, and honestly? Big mistake. It’s a total void. I would've been better off rewatching a random episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine or something. 🙄

Basta said:Lucas has been in a crisis since the first Star Wars movie came out, so we're talking about 30 years of struggle. 😁

I cut him loose because I clearly forgot he ever even knew how to direct a movie 😁
northerncrane4 said:Look, interpretations can get messy. I totally get why people find living under Bush's administration unbearable. It makes sense that folks might resort to desperate moves that end in self-destruction—especially when a movie that exposes the state of the world offers zero hope for the future. Instead, it just tries to plant fear and paranoia in you. If I caught correctly from some documentary, that's pretty much the main driver behind gun violence in the US.

The guy made a movie to get people to vote against Bush, and this dude interpreted it as a reason to go out in a blaze of glory 🤣...man, this is pure insanity 🤣 🤣

they'd probably just end up with some clone of a Black Swan and a depressed George Bush 🤣

🤣 🤣 🤣 ....even Gollum would be terrified 🤣
quietdriver3 said:Someone finally gave him a reality check.😕
🙂

Imagine if northerncrane4 and White teamed up... with northerncrane4 calling the shots and White acting as his hype man.🤣 🤣 🤣 ...

Yeah, right...🙂
northerncrane4 said:I'm talking about how depressed these characters are.

It's happening again 😁...just like I predicted, channeling my inner 😁quietdriver3...
quietdriver3 said:Of course he's kidding... if White actually meant it, that's when I'd start worrying. 😁 😁

Well, I actually am worried about White... he's definitely lost his marbles lately. 😕 😕
quietdriver3 said:Why? Is anyone actually forcing anything on people in a dark movie theater?? 🤣 🤣

🤣 🤣 🤣...look, I'm just glad to be far away from all that pressure regardless of what it is 😁😁...
