I honestly thought you were more into adult films, Peter Morris58😁 ...given that "classifieds" thread... but hey, whatever is fine by me. I'm voting for Shrek.👍
How many days did it take out of your schedule? When exactly were you there, and when did you head out? Also, did you actually manage to catch any good movies?
Dammit... I clearly missed that last lecture, even though I was at pretty much all the others.🙄 Well... I wouldn't mind pointing out a few things that need fixing—and sure, giving some credit where it's due too.😁 Look, if they end up emailing you, just give them my address, or I'll just check the website myself and take a look.
From what I could tell, he seemed pretty thrilled. I even saw him out on the patio looking like he was in high spirits... so he should definitely be back next year (maybe once he expands his Hollywood footprint enough to bring Heather Graham along😁). ..Email? Hmm... I haven't seen anything. Clearly, I missed something here😕...What's the deal with the email anyway? Is it a subscription for next year?
He didn't just miss the mark; he spent the whole time dragging it, and Anderson looked so uncomfortable he just sat there in silence.. I'm done giving him any more credit than he deserves😁
You know, Hribar is such a complete idiot. All that nonsense he was spouting at those schools with Anderson and Holland... just painful.😁 ...and then there was that bit where he tried to convince Anderson he’d filmed something for TV. Anderson keeps telling him he didn't, but Hribar just keeps insisting he did, while Anderson is just laughing like, "Look, I'm the one who actually knows if I filmed it or not."🙏 🙏 🙏
I’ve always been against movies that require me to buy tickets for two seats: one for myself and one for my brain... ...honestly, if I'm in the mood for some crazy lady with a sense of humor, I'll just hire an escort instead.
What are you even saying? It’s just a pathetic attempt to squeeze money out of people who don't have any cash to spare.🙄 Look, I didn't have much cash myself, but I started backing away pretty fast once I saw how those "organs" were being moved.😁
Ugh... finally getting some decent sleep in my own bed after five days straight.😁 Personally, I thought the festival was awesome. The new campsite was kind of a disaster, but you could always find a decent spot nearby to crash (truth be told, the rate was $333).. Hey, lonescout2, I seriously ate so much food I’m still feeling it. Only thing is, I don't get why they call it "manestra" when there isn't any actual soup involved.😁 ..The movies were great and the crowd was solid. Of course, there were tons of people who didn't even care about the films, though it seemed like they mostly showed up for the first and last day. On the final day, the crowds were so massive that the festival vibe basically died and turned into some local seafood festival. But hey, if you knew what you wanted to see, you saw it (I got everything for free😁), and the daytime stuff like workshops and talks was excellent...
And Banderas, I'll believe you were actually at the festival only if you show me you were wearing an EKV or Xet shirt.😁
Why does it always take forever for movies to hit theaters down south? Anyway: The directing is top-notch, and trying to change how these characters were portrayed would have totally ruined the vibe (that split scene and the little segment about Europe are gold)... Dawson really leveled up here, and Shannyn Sossamon is just brilliant... The issue is that nothing feels quite grounded; the characters still come off as a bit shallow by the end. I get that they’re supposed to be these emotionally hollow, hedonistic kids—which they nail perfectly—but when the script tries to pull at the heartstrings, it misses the mark. Everything is there, but it just doesn't land.
Oh, and it has absolutely nothing to do with being a Teen comedy or some romance like the trailers claim. Did anyone actually watch this? Has anyone even heard of Easton Ellis??...
I’m with you on that. Even if they play like Real Madrid or Manchester United, the whole Champions League feels pretty pathetic lately. It’s like nobody actually gives a damn about the kits anymore. And when I mentioned color changes, I was talking about switching up the design and shades of the away jerseys. At least Hajduk Split has three distinct colors—white, blue, and red—to work with for different looks. ...but seriously, why is everyone stuck on blue and white? Why does nobody bother making striped jerseys anymore?
..I don't get it... why does nobody seem to care about how our local teams actually look? It’s a total disaster. Our entire league is just stuck in either plain white or that weird shade of blue used by the local factory workers. It's pathetic. And don't even get me started on the fonts for the names and numbers; they're absolutely hideous. It wouldn't even cost a fortune to design a decent jersey here... For instance... the Hajduk Split kit looks fine when it's all white, but those blue shorts are an eyesore. And that blue and red kit hasn't seen a redesign in fifty years.👎 Plus, I don't understand why everyone else tweaks their colors every season—look at Valencia, Liverpool FC, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, or Manchester United; they're constantly updating their look. ...all the Puma kits are top-tier though.. ..Celtic is a classic.🙏
Look, music matters because it basically dictates where you hang out... which means it decides who you end up meeting. People who treat music as nothing more than background noise aren't hitting up shows, and I personally can't stand being stuck in some dive bar playing disco or whatever frat-party junk they call music... ..obviously, it doesn't define someone's character as good or bad, but it definitely says a lot about their tastes, hobbies, and general vibe... ..it's important... just not everything.
