Honestly, these polls should just be banned entirely at this point because how do you even run one without including

I was literally just about to suggest that exact one, but my computer decided to crap out on me right at the finish line.😲
Duje Draganja: Sellout or just misunderstood? in Other Sports ·
skeptik said:Is it because you actually agree, or just because you like the way they say it? 😉

It’s the rhetoric, obviously. 😉 As for Duje, I think he's a total joke. Honestly, he probably spent his time over in Qatar trying to sell even his own breath to some sheikh. Maybe that’s why they called him over—saw a cute kid and figured, why not just hand him a million dollars?
(Probably shouldn't have said that, but I couldn't help myself 😛 )

Daniel Chavez14 said:Look, if he decides to settle down here in the States, all that massive wealth is going to be spent right here on American soil. That means Americans end up profiting from Duje all over again. You could honestly view the whole thing as Duje funneling money out of Qatar just to pump it back into the US economy, even if he has to tank his own reputation to do it. Have you guys—you fake patriots—ever actually considered that angle? 😁

Honestly, props to you 👍>

brighttiger6 said:Can you actually explain how someone "loses themselves" just because they decided to switch their damn citizenship?

Yeah, I’m with you on that one. If he was always just some spineless opportunist, then changing papers isn't losing his soul—it’s just proving who he really is.

brighttiger6 said:Maybe money isn't his main driver, but honestly, why would anyone stay in the same grind for peanuts when there's a massive payday waiting elsewhere? And yeah, I can already hear the local patriots coming for my neck, whining about how he's "abandoning his roots" or whatever nonsense—look, this is pro sports, not a family reunion. To me, Draganja will always be the guy I cheered for, and that's not changing just because he's chasing a bigger bag.

Just admit you've got a crush on him and we can all move on.
The Watch (2004) in Movies ·
I think I’ve got a copy of Suicide Circle stashed away somewhere on DivX, just gotta dig through my old files to find it. Pretty sure I could track down both Tetsu and Naked Blood too if I really looked for them.

Brian Gonzalez7 said:Well, screw me and my damn pace. 😁 ...👋 I'm still out here hunting for In the Mouth of Madness, honestly.

Doesn't matter, but if I stumble across In the Mouth of Madness, I'll let you know—that's the one with Sam Neil, right?
The opening of Watchmen really grabs you, but honestly, after that first half hour, the whole thing just starts to lose steam. You spend the rest of the runtime waiting for some massive, high-stakes finale to actually make the movie worth it, and while everything keeps building toward this intense, dangerous climax, it ultimately just fizzles out into nothing.Spoilers ahead. So, the main villain pulls out this spine that’s actually a freaking sword, right? We're all sitting there thinking we're about to witness some legendary, high-stakes showdown, but then nothing happens—he doesn't even bother to swing the damn thing. Honestly, if they had just cast that guy as the big bad in Blade 3 and let him actually swing that spine around, the movie might have actually been decent for once. Plus, he's got that classic, psycho-looking Russian face that just screams unhinged./Spoiler
It’s like they ran out of cash right before the finale and just decided to call it quits.
Ethan Perez97 said:Who, him? Seriously? LOL

That guy’s nothing compared to Mario Mandžukić.

Honestly, from what I can see, even against Freddie Prinze, your boy Mandžukić isn't exactly winning any awards, so I don't know how he's supposed to hold his own against the old school.
I mean, I still think Freddie Prinze has a bit more edge, though honestly, neither of them stands a chance against the old schoolers.
Skeleton Key in Movies ·
It’s alright with me. And it's spelled with a K. 😉
So, I guess you guys aren't taking these polls seriously at all, which probably means you view this whole forum as one big joke too—including the people actually wasting their precious time giving you honest answers. It’s fine, really, just goes to show we're all just a punchline to you. Unlike me, who puts in actual effort and passion to make sure these polls are worth everyone's while, you just mock the whole thing. Honestly, it says everything I need to know about the quality of your surveys and who actually deserves to be running them 😛

Anyway, that was just a little joke, honestly, it’s never too late to start. (I can already hear Daniel Chavez14 coming for my throat 😉 )

they just want some cardio and maybe learn how to defend themselves... I mean, we aren't asking for much if they're paying $30-$40 out of their pockets in NYC

Look, man, sorry to break it to you, but yeah, you're running pretty late. If you want to actually get good at fighting, you really should have started when you were 5 or 7—maybe even 9 if you're lucky, or hell, maybe even 11—but once you pass that window, you're basically just playing around.

Jeremy Bailey said:I’m not trying to get political here, but... there were people back in '91 who had a plane ticket and a full scholarship waiting for them in the States, yet they turned it all down just to head straight to the first Department of Defense office in the country.

Look, stepping up to the front lines to defend the country isn't about politics, period. As for John Doe, if he actually was some kind of legend, I might get where he's coming from, but since he isn't, it wouldn't just be wrong to take an offer like that—it would be plain stupid. That kind of cash disappears faster than you can blink, and then what are you left with?
Clarity on Claritin? in Health ·
I’ve been using Rinolan for my allergies and honestly, it does the job, though you really have to commit to taking it every single day to actually feel the full effect instead of just popping it whenever you feel like it. It definitely has that drowsy vibe, but I don't really mind since I just take it right before hitting the sack anyway.
George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead in Movies ·
Just watched it, and honestly, it was pretty mid. Maybe it’s because I haven't sat through all the previous entries, so I’m missing the full context of what they're trying to do here. I get the whole point of showing that people can be even more depraved than the actual zombies, but they just didn't quite nail the execution for me. All those scenes where characters are basically treating the apocalypse like some twisted playground felt pretty weak. It lacked that heavy-hitting message the earlier films had—at least from what I've seen—like how much harder the ending of Shaun of the Dead hits when they start playing games with the undead.

PS Just for comparison, this new Dawn of the Dead is even weaker, though I guess that's because it isn't even aiming for the same vibe; it's trying to paint this bleak picture of doomsday where every single scene just systematically kills off any remaining shred of hope, like that one gut-wrenching part with the zombie pregnant woman and the baby and the father just losing it.

fadedsailor932 said:..yeah right... because obviously aliens DON'T need scanners or any similar gear, they just drag stuff through some "reptilian" ruins, and let's not even get started on how they manage microscopes or water analysis...

Maybe it's because their technological evolution took a completely different path altogether. Or maybe it’s just because they think in ways we can't even fathom. Their brains might be wired so differently that what seems like common sense to you wouldn't even cross their minds.
Independence Day vs. War of the Worlds in Movies ·
It honestly baffles me that we didn't get a scene where Tom uses his crane-operating skills to absolutely wreck those aliens 😁 .

Look, the movie has its plot holes, but Tom isn't some flawless superhero, and I guess that's kind of the charm—he’s just looking out for himself and his kids (unlike the little guy), and since an alien didn't immediately fry him, obviously the movie isn't going to follow a character that gets toasted in five minutes.
Sure, there are holes, but if this were Independence Day, you know that same Tom would be leading a bunch of American patriots toward a glorious victory using that crane.

PS, I still don't see any massive issues with how they acted; honestly, most real people would probably react the exact same way (which doesn't mean it's the smartest move at the time, but it feels real enough)
