I'm just gonna toss this straight into the spam folder. ☕

I'm with you on that one, honestly, because the guy is just effortlessly cool.

buddy 👍
Gary Kelly8 said:The movie’s actually decent enough.
It’s so aggressively naive and unrealistic that I actually found myself totally lost in the absurdity of it all.
But one thing still sticks out like a sore thumb: thinking Gwyneth Paltrow is somehow on the same level as Angelina Jolie? Like, seriously, give me a break.

You have to remember that in this flick, Angelina is missing an eye.
I mean, maybe she’s missing even more stuff that we just can't see—like her right leg, her left arm below the elbow, half a breast, or some part of her junk, if you get what I'm saying.

Megan White4 said:Even if it drags on for over three hours, at least it isn't boring... you cut just one scene and the whole narrative falls apart.

BTW, Zatoichi is actually a remake of some old classic... maybe do a little digging on IMDb if you care. 🙄

There’s a whole bunch of Zatoichi versions out there, just like with Marlove or Wong Fai Hung.

But I guess I won't hold it against you.😎

Oh boy, here we go again with the nitpicking.

Honestly though, it’s a killer movie; it really tears up the usual samurai clichés, and even with the runtime, it doesn't feel like a slog to sit through.👍
Richard Hernandez13 said:It honestly trips me out how many kids actually dig these Black comedies, especially the ones centered around gang life.
Bad hip-hop really did its job, I guess. 😁

Nah, you got it wrong. This is probably the only movie out there that actually pokes fun at hip-hop, rap, and all that urban gangster culture. It’s basically the total opposite of every other "urban" flick, and honestly, that’s why it’s pure gold.👍
Forbidden Planet in Movies ·
silentharbor88 said:Yeah, but then why didn't he just replicate some fuel or help them upgrade the engines or something? Instead, he went and helped some shady character get hold of something that I'm pretty sure is strictly Forbidden Planet territory for any ship to carry.

Fuel or engine upgrades feel like some abstract concept, especially for the folks watching back then, but when that thing replicated a huge pile of whiskey—if you can even call it whiskey—every single viewer at home wanted one of those machines for themselves. Sure, there’s some comic relief in there, but let’s be real, the main goal was to make every housewife crave one for her own kitchen. 😉

silentharbor88 said:Did you catch that scene they almost shoved into the movie?

Sadly, no, I saw that movie ages ago and it completely slipped my mind.

silentharbor88 said:I mean, just look at when he starts asking the robot to run errands for him. I distinctly remember some business involving booze. If you want the full rundown, check out this. It’s your classic case of producer meddling, and honestly, those scenes just feel totally jarring compared to the rest of the movie.

But honestly, it doesn't even feel like much of a comic relief moment; it feels more like they were trying way too hard to show off how advanced this robot actually is and just how high-level their tech had become—like, the thing can apparently replicate 50 bottles in a single second.
The Last Valley in Movies ·
If my memory isn't totally shot from all these years (it’s been a minute since I last sat through this one) spoiler Caine Caine ends up fighting for some count he's loyal to, and almost the entire group of mercenaries gets wiped out in the fray; while he's away, some villagers kill off his lover, then Caine crawls back to the village on his deathbed, and since he can't see a thing, Sharif pulls a fast one by having some local girl pretend to be his lady in those final moments, which Caine falls for completely, leaving Sharif looking like some kind of saint 😉

Jeremy Hayes59 said:Look, I can tell you mean well,

your heart’s in the right place and all,

but I just can't wrap my head around a reality where Dudikoff is sharing the spotlight with some second-rate knockoff version of himself.

honestly, that David Bradley guy is just a total jerk and he's not even worth the breath it takes to talk about him...

since you clearly have that "eye" for talent, maybe it's time you got back on the right track...

just watch two movies from this collection and you'll realize that guys like DB and his crew—mainly Lamas and Dacascos—don't exactly have mistika lice as their one and only...

Maybe try stepping out of Dudikoff's shadow for a second so you can actually see there's more to life than just him.

I didn't even bother watching that latest piece of garbage, though I'm guessing it's trash since Dudikoff isn't in it...

Look, I’ll give you this much—Dudikoff is a total legend of the silver screen, but you really ought to open yourself up to some other actors too.

If you only stick to Dudikoff, you're going to miss out on a whole lot of cinematic greatness, so maybe give someone like David Bradley a shot if you want to see a real icon at work.

How could you not love that stuff!! 😉 (even if I've never actually heard them)
(how can you even bring them up without dropping some pics)

Anyway, getting back to the actual topic, I haven't delved too deep into Nightwish's discography, but what I have checked out is pretty much solid!

Welcome to the latest batch of keyboard warriors. 👋
Honestly, you lot are even more pathetic than Mejden.

Go ahead, Attack, swiftmaker20, and the rest of the crew—don't let me down.
Let's see who thinks they're the big shot now. 😛
Kung Fu part 2 in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
Colgate said:Look, wanderingridge, I really hope you actually sat down and read the whole page. I’m not trying to hype up any specific martial art here, but it claims there’s this one Kung Fu style that can take down two Kickboxing fighters at once!
I’m not quite sure if they mean an entire class of students needs to team up to handle two Kickboxing guys... 😕
Anyway, we all know that's not how it works. Just give it a read since you're so curious.

From what I gathered, the idea is you have to become a master in Kickboxing first before you even think about touching Kung Fu part 2. It's not an immediate thing.
The Time Keeper in Movies ·
I remember the movie, but honestly, I can't recall a single detail you haven't already laid out for me, though if my hazy memory serves, there was some sort of domed city—assuming it even was a city—with a shield that moved through time, or maybe I'm just tripping, and they find some sketch of the place drawn on a cave wall.
