It’s definitely not in my genetics—I didn't have any of this until I started taking Yasmin. But now, it's showing up on my butt and legs. I wasn't really sweating the small stuff until my boyfriend mentioned it out of nowhere the other day (he claimed he was just joking afterward, though). It's especially noticeable on the outer part of my thighs, and it's really getting to me. GIRLS, ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THIS NONSENSE, how do I get rid of it? Will it go away if I stop taking Yasmin? Would swimming during the summer help? (I'm not really an athlete or anything) Are there any effective creams you've actually used? Pills? Anything at all? Just to be clear, I don't want to lose weight... But seeing this is just awful and it's driving me crazy... Help!!!!
Like everyone else has already pointed out, your weight has absolutely nothing to do with cellulite. I dealt with the exact same thing while I was on birth control pills. Once I stopped taking them, my skin cleared right up. Hormones can really do strange things to our bodies. At the end of the day, you can definitely fight back against it—healthy eating and staying active are the only ways to go, period. No other theory holds water! And please, save your money on those anti-cellulite creams—if they work at all, they just temporarily "hide" it, but the issue remains underneath. The weather is gorgeous right now, though; cycling, rollerblading, running, hitting the gym—there are so many options out there!
Brenda Cooper3 said:The kind of guys who go looking for trouble with bikers or punks should be the first ones to step up and teach this animal a lesson for what he did to that animal. Not lethal, obviously. Just a few solid slaps to knock some sense into him. Aside from that, most people would probably just wet themselves if they saw twenty bald, tattooed guys marching through downtown Chicago in March...
😍I’ve already gone ahead and shared that image😍we really ought to organize something like this😂 But that’s just what I was saying—be a tough guy now, then.Noooooo, in situations like that, people end up wetting themselves. But when it comes to bullying cats, dogs, or any other creatures that can't defend themselves? Oh, then they’re real "tough guys." I honestly don't get it—if I saw someone five times my size being threatened, I’d rush in to protect them; to me, that feels like a challenge... but to go out of my way to hit a cat? I would feel absolutely miserable afterward...😵 Anyway—twenty bald, tattooed guys in leather jackets—as I said, daaaaah, I love the way you think😍
Honestly, I feel like I’m just hyper-sensitive about everything lately, you know? It’s like my skin is too thin or something. Everything hits me way harder than it probably should. kaže: Look, I'll just be real with you—I’m definitely that kind of guy who once kicked a cat and then proceeded to smash it over the head with a brick.😁
Man, this brick is doing some straight-up magic!😍It’s just total darkness—a lethal combination.😈
...so yeah, that's the lowdown on those absolute monsters.
think about that!
Yeah, right.😂I believe in being a decent human being to other people, but I’ll be a monster to a monster if I have to... I don't feel any need to justify myself here; the very moment I would ever feel the urge to strike out at someone who can't defend themselves, I'd basically be cutting my own hand off. That absolute freak got exactly what they were looking for—like I said, if you're foolish enough to go after someone stronger than you, you're going to regret it.🙏
hiddensailor14 said:🤣 That sounds like absolute madness, but honestly, it's kind of legendary...😁 Please, for the love of God, tell me how you actually pulled that off...😁
Look, I can't speak to whether she was actually peeing or whatever, but I do know I once dealt with a guy who kicked my cat and hit him over the head with a brick.😁If he wants to act like some big tough guy, fine by me—he can come try his luck with me instead of attacking a helpless little creature that can't even fight back. The cat recovered perfectly fine after that, and as for that guy? He runs away from me like I'm the damn devil himself...🤣 Oh, and just so we're clear, I only weigh about 115 pounds, and he's twice my size.😁But apparently, bricks work wonders...😍(and things went pitch black for a second)—it was a lethal combination...😈
I don't think this boils down to family dynamics or upbringing, though I suppose that plays its part in the background. To put it bluntly, I believe we're dealing with someone who is just absolutely riddled with insecurities and, if you'll excuse my language, a total wimp😁. He acts like such a tough guy, but honestly, it takes real backbone to actually stand up for something...🤣I can only assume that one day he'll end up getting physical with his own wife just to try and prove how "manly" he is. That’s just the breed of person he is; the moment they run into someone actually stronger than them, they shrink until they're practically invisible.

I know of a few people who have dealt with it. Most of them manage to recover quite successfully, but if you don't get treatment right away, the aftermath can be absolutely devastating. What specifically were you looking to find out?
Larry Howard8 said:Hey Karen Adams2, I really want to adopt that mindset too, instead of just living in fear....🙂
Now, what Larry Howard8 said might sound like some sort of New Age nonsense to some people, but if you really stop to think about it, there is so much truth buried in those words; you are essentially the architect of your own thoughts. It sounds a bit terrifying when you put it that way, but it's absolutely the reality. I've come across some of your posts in other threads, and I truly feel like I understand where you're coming from—you're afraid, but you're mostly terrified of things that haven't even happened yet, or things that might never actually materialize, yet you're busy constructing a personal version of hell through your own contemplation. In a way, you're almost inviting those problems into your life. Life is beautiful, despite everything; bad things happen to everyone, but some people find a way to navigate them while others simply give up. At the end of the day, we all choose whether we want to be fighters or victims. Nothing in my life is perfect either—not that perfection actually exists in this world—and I could easily spend my entire day obsessing over everything that's missing or everything that's going wrong, just letting myself become bitter. Or, I can choose to focus on everything I do have, everything that makes me feel lucky, and live this day exactly the way I want to! Just take it one day at a time!
Life is so beautifuuuuul😉absolutely stunning, just wonderful😉We can always find a thousand and one reasons to dwell on misery, but just as easily, we can find that single, solitary reason to be happy. We are constantly presented with a choice; we are the architects of our own reality. We have the option to truly savor this life, or we can simply choose to be miserable. It’s funny how everyone tends to view their own struggles as if they were the largest hurdles in existence...🤷 Whenever I face a setback, I make it a point to analyze it briefly and then immediately pivot my focus toward the solution—never the problem itself—always and exclusively focusing on how to fix it. Not everyone operates that way, though. My coworker, for instance, constantly drones on about some ailment she has, and even when I suggest endless ways to manage it or live better because of it—well, NO, apparently there is no help for her. If I ask, "Have you tried this?" the answer is always, "No, I haven't, and I won't," because supposedly it doesn't work. Or if I say, "Well, try that instead," it's just, "No, neither of those will help." Honestly, it seems like what she actually wants is to wallow in her illness in some twisted sort of way. So fine, go ahead and enjoy it, I suppose... what am I going to do about it? 🤷 Most of us don't realize soon enough just how beautiful life really is, or that the absolute chaos and nonsense we deal with actually exists to shape us as individuals—to serve as the challenges we are meant to overcome. Personally, I didn't truly grasp that until I was quite literally staring death in the face; an ambulance was racing through the streets at ninety miles per hour, and every second felt critical, while my father held my hand tightly, whispering, "Please, just hang on..." Outside, it was such a gorgeous November day, so warm and bright, and I remember thinking at one point as my vision blurred, "You know, you can die any other day, you don't necessarily have to do it today." 😁That was the moment everything shifted for me; it was my wake-up call. And I am so profoundly grateful to God, the universe, fate, or whoever it was that granted me the chance to experience that and continue living. To live happily and feel fulfilled. Life happens only once, and we ought to live it exactly how we want, doing whatever makes us happy, even if someone else thinks it's silly. Life is a gift—a precious gift that we should truly embrace. 😉
I’ve heard it said that we all have this potential buried deep inside us, though it usually takes some sort of intense 'trigger' to finally set it in motion... I personally encountered three such individuals, and what truly captivates me about them is their unique way of processing the world—a perspective that a "standard" (if I may say, rather pedestrian)😁genius mind simply cannot grasp. What fascinates me most, though, is their sheer intellectual capacity; they possessed such incredible IQs... they were absolute geniuses! One of those three was actually my landlord a few years back; he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, but for the most part, he was a peaceful man and I never had a single issue with him. My clearest memory involves the time I was buying laminate flooring and carpeting for the apartment. My then-boyfriend and I were sitting there, crunching numbers—calculating square footage, the area for the rug, multiplying that by the cost, then doing the same for the laminate🙄... and while my boyfriend was calling out the figures and I was tapping away on the calculator, before I could even hit the equals sign, this man just blurted out the exact total. My boyfriend and I just stared at him, the way people stare at someone who's lost their grip on reality😂... and then I finally pressed equals, and honestly, I nearly fell right out of my chair. It was spot on, perfectly calculated😲 The second was a painter, an academy graduate who worked as a professor and everything. Once, he was out walking with his little niece when she darted out toward a car, and he blamed himself entirely. That was his trigger—that moment where he just broke. But his paintings after that? They were breathtaking; whenever I looked at them, I felt actual chills running down my spine. When they pushed him into therapy, they completely wiped him out with all those heavy medication cocktails; he turned into a shell of himself, just staring blankly into space now, and even his art has lost that magic touch🤷The spark, that true brilliance, is just gone from him now... Then there was a colleague of my aunt's, who didn't experience this until she was after thirty, following the collapse of a long-term relationship that she had poured her entire soul into. Aside from that, I remember her as being exceptionally sharp and brilliant, possessing an incredible sense of perception; her mind was always racing at three hundred miles per hour... In short, they were all extraordinary in their own ways, possessing that certain "something"... a quality that an average person just can't wrap their head around. Perhaps they are the ones who are crazy, or perhaps we "normal" people are actually just too dull to comprehend the complexity of what is happening inside their minds...
I have to say, I’m feeling a little unsettled after reading someone claim that "the intestines don't feel pain."😕It really makes me wonder, then, what on earth has been causing my discomfort for the last ten years every single time I eat something I shouldn't? To be specific, bread and pasta—basically anything made with white flour—are strictly off-limits for me. Occasionally, if I'm lucky, I can manage some whole grain. But every once in a while, I’ll give in to a craving, overindulge, and suddenly, despite only weighing 54 kilos, I look like I’ve swallowed a giant pumpkin.😁The whole thing just turns into this agonizing stomach ache... it hurts... honestly, it feels like I'm just incredibly bloated with gas trapped in my intestines, doesn't it? So, my conclusion is that it's my intestines that are hurting; I don't know what else it could be—it isn't my stomach (that's higher up), it isn't my gallbladder (that's on the right), and if I recall correctly, the pancreas is on the left side, so it isn't that either. Therefore, I'm left thinking it has to be my intestines.🙄 To make a long story short—I get filled up with intestinal gas that I just can't seem to get rid of,😁and that causes pain. Intense pain.
Have you ever sat back and really considered the idea that the end justifies the means? Or how people often say that the road to hell is paved with nothing but good intentions... There’s so much more to unpack there, but my main point is that almost everyone acts out of what they believe to be a positive motive; nobody truly views their own actions as inherently malicious, but rather as a necessary step toward achieving some greater good...
Just click the Quote icon and start typing... it's really that simple...
And if you're trying to break a post up into pieces before replying... just highlight the part you want with your mouse, hit the icon, and go from there... check how it looks before you hit send, because if you end up with "quote" written all over the place, just delete the extra bits... takes a little practice, I guess, but it isn't rocket science...
Can someone please tell me which of my quotes actually looks right?
See? Like that...
into smaller pieces before you reply... you just highlight the specific section with your mouse, hit the icon, and then write... just make sure to check how it looks before you hit send, because if you end up with way too many quote boxes, you can just delete the extras... it takes a little practice, but I promise it isn't difficult at all...

I find myself feeling rather hypersensitive lately... it seems as though every little thing touches a nerve, and I just can't seem to shake this overwhelming sense of being on edge... kaže: To me, all of this just seems unnecessarily complicated...🙄Look, I know how to quote someone's post, emphasize it, underline it, or bold it—whatever works—but I haven't quite figured out how to reply to multiple people all at once... So, is it possible to just "slice up" the text and use the Wrap Quote feature to address only one specific sentence or part of what they said?😕 Is that what it is?... Quote:
Can someone please break this down for me? I’m looking for a really thorough, step-by-step explanation... you know, like you’re explaining it to a five-year-old...😁I have to admit, things like this... I’ll admit, some of these concepts aren't exactly clicking for me right away, but I am genuinely committed to mastering them... I truly want to reach a point where my responses carry more weight and sound much more meaningful than they do now...😍
I have to say, this all feels a bit overly complicated to me...🙄I mean, I understand how to quote someone’s message, emphasize it, underline it, or bold it, but I haven't quite figured out how to reply to multiple people at once. Is there a way to just "break up" my text and use the Wrap Quote feature for just one specific sentence or part of their post?😕 Could someone please walk me through this process—really step-by-step, as if you were explaining it to a complete novice?😁I'll be the first to admit that these technical nuances don't always come naturally to me, but I truly want to master this. I really want my responses to sound more coherent and well-structured...😍
Patrick White9 said:I don't want to get bogged down in names—I hope you understand why—but let me just say we're talking about one of those large private clinics in San Francisco that handles things like hemorrhoid surgeries. To be honest, I didn't quite grasp which specific surgical method they were using (I was a bit stunned when I hit a wall there), but they do claim the recovery is painful (or at least, that's what I heard)... Did you perhaps have your surgery done privately at that clinic (I think they’re the only ones in San Francisco offering private procedures like that) or was it at a hospital? When did that happen? And what has your experience been like during the recovery period?
Regarding THD, I’ve actually scheduled myself for February 25th in New York City, but God knows if I can hold out until then. The pain following my bowel movement this morning was absolutely unbearable. I can't sit, I can't lie down, I can't even stand... I just don't know what to do, I feel like I'm losing my mind...
I spent the afternoon seeing a homeopath to see if she might have some insight. Homeopathy seemed to help me once before. Our consultation lasted two and a half hours! She grilled me on everything—from my parents' medical history and my ancestors, to childhood illnesses, life stressors, even whether I sweat much or if I prefer hot or cold food... truly, everything. It felt more like a session with a psychologist. Based on this deep dive, she’ll prescribe homeopathic remedies tomorrow (it’s old-school homeopathy). She also gave me some homemade lard infused with calendula. I spent about five or six minutes slowly massaging the internal area with my finger in circular motions...
I'm seriously considering visiting a herbalist named Sadiković in Ljubuški. On the phone, he sounded so confident, telling me it wouldn't be an issue and that he could resolve Grade III hemorrhoids without any trouble. Has anyone on this forum ever used him for anything medicinal? I know a few people who went to him for other issues—like heart arrhythmias, fertility problems, or migraines—and they swear he saved them...
I honestly don't know if I'm overreacting by chasing after these "miracle" cures, but when this stinging pain becomes so intense that I'm desperate for any relief, I lose all perspective. I just want this suffering to end. I can't live, I can't work, I can't do anything. For the last week of my life, it has just been ME versus THEM. One against all. And who will win?...
In a perfect world, I would choose the THD method, but I simply don't know if I can survive another two weeks of this agony. My plan is to rely on homeopathy or herbal teas just to manage the pain enough to make it to my appointment. But I suspect surgery is inevitable. Homeopathy or tea might mask the symptoms for a little while, but these are Grade III hemorrhoids; one is bleeding, and the whole area feels inflamed below. Everywhere I look online, Grade III means surgery is the only way...
What worries me is that I saw on some Italian medical forums last night that there are people for whom even THD didn't work. I wasn't able to do much deep research today because the pain was too much, but I'm hoping to learn more very soon...
Is it actually possible that even THD doesn't completely fix the underlying issue?...
FORUM MEMBERS, PLEASE! Let's use our collective power and search engines like Google to find out what actual users are saying about THD outside of the official channels!
Because everything written by THDLab or in those PR articles—both here and elsewhere—makes it sound so idyllic; you just show up, get it done in thirty minutes, and walk out like nothing ever happened... and then they never even follow up with you, right???
I should mention that PILEX hasn't helped me at all. I've already downed eleven tablets today, and I only have three left. Is it possible it just takes time to kick in? Or maybe it's actually making things worse? Has anyone else had experiences like this with it?
Dennis Bennett43, when you mentioned that you didn't regret choosing the more intensive surgical route, does that imply that the postoperative pain might not be nearly as excruciating as what I'm describing now? Also, is there a significant risk of recurrence given the type of surgery performed?
Help me out here, my fellow sufferers!
😢Oh, you’ve truly broken my heart reading that... I know exactly how you feel because I was right there in those same shoes. That’s actually why I finally pulled the trigger and went through with surgery. And honestly? I feel so much better now. You’ll get there too, please don't lose hope. Don't let the fear of things going wrong cloud your judgment right away. Personally, I really believe that any postoperative discomfort is nothing compared to the absolute misery you're enduring right now... I had so many people telling me not to go through with the operation, giving me all sorts of "don't do it" excuses, blah, blah, blah... In the end, I pushed myself so far past my limit that I spent four straight days stuck in bed on my stomach because the pain was so intense I couldn't even stand up. That was the moment I decided to just have the surgery—the cauterization—because I realized life just couldn't get any worse than this. So, maybe the surgery provides a temporary fix, or maybe it's a permanent solution—but at least I'll be able to live a somewhat normal life for a while...😉 Hang in there.👍
Jerry Lee32 said:Oh, please... suggesting that one should just stick to "healthy" food is a bit much... and having to run to the bathroom every single day?😲..well, let's just say... it isn't just about eating spicy stuff; there are a hundred other things that can trigger this...🙄
So, here’s my experience: I go to the restroom regularly, and I don't deal with constipation. When these issues first started creeping up on me, everyone was giving me the same old advice—telling me to load up on fiber, stews, soups, and all that good stuff. Well, that backfired spectacularly, because I ended up needing to hit the bathroom about six times a day!🙄When you're already dealing with unbearable pain, having to rush to the toilet constantly just makes everything so much more irritating... it was honestly a nightmare. That was my situation. : But then again, just because that happened to me doesn't mean it applies to everyone else; at the end of the day, everyone really needs to experiment and figure out what works best for their own body.
Karen Wood47 said:Can anyone suggest a specific diet I should follow?
When it comes to what you eat, the one thing you really ought to steer clear of is spicy food. If your digestion is running smoothly—meaning you’re having regular bowel movements every single day—there isn't much need for any heavy or greasy meals, as those might actually end up making things worse for you, just like they did for me...😁 Another consideration would be if you happen to struggle with constipation. Basically, just stay away from the heat, and for heaven's sake, don't sit on anything cold!!!
Where exactly am I missing the mark? If you could provide some more detailed guidance, I’d appreciate it.
And why exactly is that the case?
My process is a bit more convoluted than most—I tend to quote the entire block, strip away the parts that don't serve my point, provide my response, and then repeat the cycle by pasting the full quote again only to prune it once more.
It’s stalling, and we’re nearly at the finish line...
Here is how I’m approaching this (I’ll provide as much detail as possible), From the very beginning....): To quote a post, you simply hit the Quote button to trigger the quoted block; then, highlight the specific section of text you intend to address and click the icon—that little speech bubble symbol—to finalize your comment. Wrap Quote the designated portion of the text should be enclosed within quote tags at both the beginning and the end Wrap QuoteI will append my commentary following that Wrap Quote at the end; I’ll highlight the second section once more; add the icon again; and then follow up with another comment right after the quote.
It seems my formatting has gone completely sideways; everything—from my own commentary down to those smaller nested quotes—is getting swallowed up by one massive, oversized quote block at the end of the post. It makes sense, I suppose, given that my own remarks are nested within the primary quote block... wouldn't you agree? I feel as though I am missing a crucial step in my process, or perhaps there is a fundamental flaw in my approach that remains stubbornly out of reach, yet despite my efforts, the error eludes everyone's perception.🤷 Everyone keeps telling me the same thing: highlight the text, hit the icon, leave a comment. So, I follow the instructions to the letter, but when you look at the actual results... well, the outcome speaks for itself. Something isn't quite clicking, so I would appreciate it if someone with a bit of patience could take a look at my task list and help me pinpoint exactly where my logic is faltering.🙂
