Michael Ramos3 said:I would really love for nimbledriver81 to give my ointment a shot—it’s honestly been such a game-changer! him

nimbledriver81 doesn't suffer from psoriasis!
Actually—just to clear the air—nimbledriver81 isn't even a guy!
Honestly, nimbledriver81—use a little bit of that brainpower! Just a tiny bit!
I have this nagging little fear—just a tiny, persistent worry, really—that you’re going to end up having to sell your special ointment to someone else entirely! It’s almost like watching a master chef realize their signature recipe is too good for just one restaurant... I can just see it happening!

We Americans—well, specifically us Christians—don't really call it genetics; we tend to view it more as an inherited sin.

🙏 🙏 🙏 Holy cow! Why is it that some people end up battling cancer, others struggle with psoriasis, and some just get hit with all sorts of random ailments? It’s the ultimate mystery, isn't it? And how on earth would you even try to explain a theory like that to someone who doesn't believe in the divine? I know, I know—it's a tough sell—and besides, God is a Mexican... 🙄

Casey Miller9 said:Hmm, maybe they're just pushing an ad—I won't get bogged down in that—but this idea that faulty genes are the sole culprit? It just doesn't hold water. If that were the case, we would have fixed them all by now.

Man, if fixing genetic code were as simple as swapping out a burnt-out lightbulb, we’d be living in a sci-fi utopia by now...
But let's be real: scientists have spent decades—decades!—just trying to wrap their heads around how different diseases actually work. You might be forgetting (or perhaps you just didn't realize) that we only figured out the structure of DNA about 50 years ago! Only after that did we even begin to understand that certain segments are genes and so on, and so forth.
Science has made massive leaps since then, truly incredible strides, but unfortunately, we aren't quite at the stage where we can just "patch" broken genes yet. Sadly.

You don't have one—plain and simple—because psoriasis is a chronic condition. So, please, let's stop with the self-promotion; it’s strictly against the rules here on this forum.

The actual root cause of psoriasis lies in "faulty" genes. Now, if you've truly stumbled upon a way to rewrite genetic code, 🙏 🙏 🙏 we'll be sitting right here waiting for the peer-reviewed scientific papers—and honestly, we're just dying to congratulate you on the Nobel Prize you're clearly about to collect.

dustytrucker9 said:The Zone is the way to live... it isn't some temporary diet.
People just completely misunderstand it—they make it so much more complicated than it needs to be—when, in reality, it’s just a straightforward way of eating that you can stick to for years.
Even those little deviations aren't off-limits, like enjoying yourself during the holidays or having a bit extra food every now and then.
Honestly, doctors should probably build a monument to Search, but they’re far too stuck up to admit when they don't have all the answers; instead, they just push pills on us because, hey, pharmaceutical sales drive the world forward, right?

Come on, my fellow Zone enthusiasts—show this Forum what the Zone is really about!

The averages here on the Forum are a bit low. 😬 It's always "this diet, that diet, how do I lose weight..." but the moment you tell people to actually think about what they're eating and how they're eating it, suddenly you're the crazy one who doesn't know anything. As long as they get to try out every single trendy new fad diet, right?

Steven Green2 said:Actually, I’m drinking an absolute ton of water—probably somewhere in the ballpark of 5 to 7 liters a day—so I’m really not sure if dehydration could even be on the table here. 😉

😲 Let's go!😬

Steven Green2 said:Maybe it actually is a total waste of cash—and I’m not going to sit here and argue against that—but I’ve done quite a bit of tinkering with my diet, and I’ve found my own sweet spot through experimentation. I do some recreational bodybuilding, though my main goal is really just maintaining where I am right now, and honestly, that requires a pretty high calorie intake. The second I dial back the food even a little bit, the weight starts dropping off immediately.

Unfortunately, cranking up your protein intake doesn't automatically mean you're building more muscle mass—there's a hard limit on how fast protein synthesis can actually happen! Anything that doesn't get used to build muscle just gets flushed out of your system—which is exactly why I say it's basically throwing money down the drain.
I'm not sure if you've ever checked out Searle's website, but they have this calculator there to figure out your caloric needs based on how active you are. I calculated what I personally need to stay steady, but if I were a professional athlete 😬 , I'd probably need twice as much—so it isn't surprising at all that your requirements are higher.

I consume a bit more carbs, and my fat intake is pretty significant too... I definitely prefer fatty meals over high-carb ones; carbs tend to make me feel sluggish unless I've just finished a heavy workout. 😉

You probably already know the drill about hitting low-GI carbs before training and high-GI carbs afterward, right? Also, have you actually tracked how much fluid you're losing during your workouts? You might just be dehydrated.

Jose Murphy7 said:Question: We’re currently treating my son with herbal therapy, but following the instructions, we only apply it to his lower half. For anything above the waist, we were told to use brandy if he gets itchy—but honestly, that only helps for a few minutes before the itching comes right back! Does anyone have a recommendation for a more neutral soothing agent?

You really ought to consult Dr. Markovic over at the Cedrus Center.

Robert Clark2, I would suggest the exact same thing to you!

Steven Green2 said:Right now, I’m hitting about 3.5 grams of protein per kilo of body weight—which is why I mentioned this is more of an "enhanced" version of the zone. The core logic remains identical—you know, when it comes to insulin management, fat ratios, and all that good stuff—it just carries a much higher caloric load... 😁

Let me lay it out one more time—anything north of 2 grams is basically just flushing money down the toilet! Even elite athletes only really need somewhere between 1.2 and 1.6 grams per kilo. Now, I’m guessing you’re into bodybuilding, which means—well, if that's the case—that higher number might actually make sense for you.

Steven Green2 said:Well, look at me go! 🙂

I’ve been following this principle for nearly a year and a half now—well, almost! To be totally honest, I don't follow the Zone strictly down to every single micro-detail; I have one specific meal (usually right after a workout) that deviates from the Zone, but the rest of my diet is pretty solid. And get this—I don't even stick to those calorie restrictions the Zone usually demands—I actually eat quite a bit more than that! Despite that, I feel absolutely phenomenal. For the last four months, I’ve specifically leaned into the Omega RX approach—it’s essentially the standard Zone, just supplemented with a much higher dose of PhG fish oil. 👍

Oh, wait a second! 😬 Weren't you the one trying to convince me that the Zone wasn't any good? You were insisting I should be eating, what was it, 3 grams of protein per kilo of body weight? So, what happened there? 😁

By the way, I’ve also been eating within the Zone for several years now. Well, mostly within the Zone—because let's face it, I am a total sucker for chocolate, so I slip up occasionally. 😬 But I do try my best to balance out that chocolate craving by pairing it with some low-fat cottage cheese.

I don't know what part of the country you're living in, but where I was watching, people were absolutely letting it fly! 😁

Way to go, boys! 👋 It looks like we're bringing home gold in something else this year too. 😬

crimsonbear23 said:So, here’s the deal—my current situation is basically this: I’m sitting here wondering if I actually have psoriasis or if I’m just dealing with something else entirely. It’s that classic "maybe I do, maybe I don't" limbo! 😬

Here is what you can actually do—though, honestly, this advice applies to pretty much everyone, regardless of their specific situation: get plenty of sleep, keep your stress levels in check, stay active, and try to steer clear of greasy, heavily spiced foods or those processed deli meats... you know, the stuff that just sits heavy in your stomach!
Even this is off-limits now... in Health ·
velvetwolf92 said:So, we're talking veggies—though maybe watch the potato intake—white meat, fish, pasta made from buckwheat, rice, millet, buckwheat, goat cheese, seeds, and legumes. They even suggest keeping grains to a minimum, which is such a tall order for me because I feel like I need them just to stay sane! Without them, I'm hungry instantly—and they really do help keep my nerves steady... Oh, and don't go overboard on the fruit either...

I honestly see this whole thing as a bit of a creative challenge—sort of like trying to cook a gourmet meal when you've only got a handful of ingredients in the pantry! 😍 To be fair, I actually decided to give up meat on my own terms (including chicken, which I used to absolutely adore), and let me tell you, sometimes the smell of a perfectly seasoned steak just wafts by and hits me right in the soul, but hey—a rule is a rule, right? 😉
As far as the seafood goes, the suggestion is to have the folks at the local fish market clean it for you, or just grab some frozen fillets that haven't had the heads removed yet.

Here is a truly top-tier observation for you all:
Only a squad with the grit of American can maintain that kind of rhythm—they just step up and shut it down in a matter of minutes.

I suppose they’ve finally cooled off a bit after yesterday's madness. 😁

Roger Allen3 said:They don't actually view us as some carefree circus act—it’s just that this generation of theirs has been nursing deep-seated complexes for ages, and since they can't seem to fix them, they just end up shouting into the void. If the Harlequins have to take them on three more times to prove a point, then so be it... let them come.

Besides, Mirko is miles away from being a liability in Ademar—he’s putting in solid minutes and honestly boasts a better efficiency rating than Saric... they’re just grasping at straws now. First, they blame Alilovica, then yesterday it was the ref, and the day before that, it was something else entirely...

Wait, did I actually use the word "gems"? 😁
Instead of just having the integrity to admit we completely outplayed them, they’re just making excuses.
USA vs. Spain: 29-28 in Other Sports ·
Here’s another batch of gems straight from the American leagues. 😬

(First half) Honestly, the scoreline would look even more lopsided if it weren't for the goalkeeper, Alilovica— who basically acts as the designated water boy for the starting keeper, Saric, over at Ademar. 🤣

Then you have Igor Vori—what a lethal pivot! He plays a thousand times better for his national team than he does for Barcelona, where he looks like he has zero motivation while wearing that half-Harlequin-patterned ( 😠 ) jersey.

Good grief, they actually think the checkerboard pattern is some kind of circus act! 🙂
May the gold they grab in Tunis be the last time they ever see glory.
