1. do you remember the first time? 2. common people 3. party hard 4. underwear 5. countdown 6. disco 2000 7. acrylic afternoons 8. sylvia 9. the trees 10. love is blind
1. Hook up with that blonde girl from my homeroom 2. Catch a Radiohead concert 3. See The Cure live 4. Get deep into communist and anarchist theory😁 5. Finally snag that rare trading card to finish my album
Things I wish I hadn't done at 14:
1. Discovering Championship Manager 2. Getting hooked on Heroes of Might & Magic 3. Wasting my entire puberty—and countless hours—on those games instead of actually talking to that blonde girl😁 4. Discovering alcohol... way too early; honestly, better to have started drinking later 5. Biting my nails (thank God I finally kicked that habit)
I was just staring at this image to the left of the forum logo... I’ve always assumed it was some kind of low-budget photocopier or something—honestly, it looked pretty ridiculous to me—but now I’m starting to think it might actually be a building?
I just finished listening to the "New York Noise '78-'82" compilation, and I felt compelled to weigh in. It turns out the Liars aren't just boring—which was already my take—but they're straight-up plagiarists. One track is just playing at being retro, while the other is basically a blatant rip-off of someone else's thesis paper. 🙄

Go ahead—give us your brilliant explanation of what exactly constitutes this "sterile white fusion" you're talking about.
The problem is that it’s just plain inferior to the old-school legends... Sterile fusion? You mean guys like Rybdal, Metheny, or Frisell... If you're a fusion fanatic, then let's not even bother arguing—I have zero interest in a one-sided debate fueled by Dream Theater fans. 🙂
(I'll just stick to quoting those guys from the record store who claim "it's all just elevator music." 🙂)

1. Pretty much every stand-up comic 2. Bob Saget 3. Those cheesy New Year's Eve variety shows from when I was a kid... 😠 4. Mirko Fodor 5. Al Bundy
The irony? The greatest stand-up ever—Bill Hicks—would probably drive you into a deep depression before he actually made you laugh... but I guess that’s just part of his genius.
I’ve always been pretty indifferent toward most animal species. It’s not that I have anything against them, but I don't exactly harbor any deep affection either... It's just that I'd much rather focus my energy on things like sharp cheddar and smoked pepperoni.
hm... personally, I’d say his best work is "New Adventures in Hi-Fi"—though obviously, *Murmur* is in a league of its own—but honestly, there's at least three albums before and after that one that are absolute garbage... unless you count *Automatic*
After finally grinding through the production process, it hit me—Speaking in Tongues is actually the perfect album... I wouldn't be surprised if they recorded it at a studio like Capitol Studios. Truly delicious stuff.
