just watched this comment - lol can't believe people actually drop cash on such garbage movies🤣
it doesn't get any stupider than this, just pure, unadulterated nonsense but honestly, the best part was this line
start of the movie: the T-virus hits the entire US within a month, then the whole world in a few months then later in the flick, the same guy goes: "well, we could head to Alaska, surely the virus hasn't spread THAT far yet"😂😂
And that bit about the world being ruined? I mean, fine, maybe they ran out of budget for this kind of crap, but their commitment to being dumb is impressive—they went all the way out to the desert to film, but whenever they actually needed to show something, they just used cheap CGI to explain it away. And that explanation about how the world turned into a wasteland even harsher than Mad Max in just five years? Absolute joke
The worst part, though, is seeing the teaser for the 4th one already, clearly signaling they're gonna dump another $100-200 million into CGI just to watch people jump around and hack at zombies
I'm honestly not even bothering since I just realized there's a massive mountain of threads I can't possibly get through...
Basically—checking the men's section, the forum says I've only got about 4 pages of topics, maybe 80 things total, out of over 1,500+ threads on the site...
Chloe Palmer2 said:This movie is probably going to be absolute madness. Even if it turns out to be total garbage, I’ll still go see it just because it was my favorite cartoon growing up. I think I still have those robots stashed away somewhere—the ones my dad used to bring home from Italy that you could snap together to build one massive ultimate robot 😬 Though, if I recall correctly, I didn't have the full set; I was missing two 😢
I had everything, but once I finally got that last piece I needed, I realized I was actually missing the one that connects the top and bottom halves 🤮
Watched it last night... Man, what a total waste of time... Honestly, that Fantastic Four flick is easily the dumbest superhero movie ever made.. Like, what even is that? Five random losers get superpowers, screw everything up, feel bad about it, become heroes, and then—boom—end of part one.
And the sequel is just pure nonsense... I've always thought Silver Surfer was such a cool character, but what the hell was this movie? The characters are incredibly unlikable, shallow, and boring. The plot is ridiculous and the whole thing is just garbage no matter how you look at it. Man, if Alba had actually shown some skin, maybe it would've been worth watching for the R-rating, but instead...
Brian Foster2 said:Honestly, you probably wouldn't have liked the first one either!
Just a quick note... if you actually enjoyed the original, you'll likely dig this one too. For me? I actually found the second installment slightly better because it's much more high-octane and unpredictable!
🤣 🤣 🤣 honestly, if you've got an IQ of 55, you're basically blessed when it comes to movies like this😂 😂 😂
Brian Foster2 said:I mean, let’s be honest—the first one was pretty nonsensical too. You had all that rage and those super-powered zombies? Total trash... but honestly, isn't that exactly what makes the movie so much fun?
the first one was pure trash, sure, but the whole movie was just high-octane... it wasn't just about the zombies from the way the characters wake up to that insane part with those crazed soldiers 🙏 the movie was just wild... 🙂
but this? this is just garbage trying way too hard to be dramatic with some totally moronic execution... 🤮
So we're talking about rabies, not zombies? Because "rabies" usually doesn't involve them turning into Superman just to hunt down living people while 500 other juicy targets hang out nearby...
But honestly, with how poorly this was executed, those kinds of details end up being totally irrelevant anyway... ☕
Like, the first one was weirdly good, but this? From start to finish, these damn "zombies" are basically breaking Olympic sprinting records, smashing through walls... they even swim or whatever... 😕
But look, the core of the movie—the characters were great, and that abandoned New York City setting could have been terrible, but with the military everywhere and the plot twists... honestly, it actually holds up okay... if you ignore all those Resident Evil tropes... But once the chaos kicks off again—it just turns into pure stupidity. You've got these hyperactive zombies smashing through entire front doors, but then they can't seem to break a car window? 🤔
Also, did you guys know the Mercedes-Benz station wagon has chemical weapon protection? Must be an American thing...
A few nonsensical bits could have been skipped, but they kept pushing it until everything went totally south...
Mainly, the whole situation is ridiculous—it's them against everyone, and the lazy writing where out of all of New York City, the zombies only show up right where our heroes are? Like, a soldier escapes fifty zombies only to run straight into our main crew? Of course, if they weren't there, there wouldn't be a movie, but you'd think they could've made it slightly more intelligent. And thanks a lot, there's one interesting scene that actually outdid Jackson's BRAINDEAD and that lawnmower scene. 😁
And then at the end, naturally—expect 28 Years Later.
Alright, cool. I just started the download. Figured I’d get it going while the crew rolls in so we have something to watch while we hang out. The first one was actually pretty decent... hoping this one hits the same way too. 👍
I feel kind of stupid even starting this thread. I mean, *28 Days Later* was decent enough with some solid moments, but the sequel... even the trailer looked like total garbage with that cheap CGI, where people are just sprinting down streets in perfect straight lines 🙂 but seriously, did anyone actually watch it, download it, or just delete it immediately?
Bradley Ramos11 said:The Film is a total failure in terms of the script. How did the captain of the first Icarus lose his mind? What actually happened to that initial crew? To quote Zachary Thompson2: "I get the feeling that after watching the first hour, they realized the story was going nowhere, so they just decided to throw an 'eighth passenger' onto the ship to slaughter the rest of the crew. How original."
That was pretty much my vibe after finishing this thing... ended up being some total Event Horizon rip-off 😕 anyway 👎
goldenpuma10 said:If they couldn't squeeze more out of him after four years, they’re total amateurs. I could have gotten him to admit he personally took out JFK in four years.
if he’d stayed around a bit longer, it probably would have happened... 🙂 and who knows, maybe he actually will 😁
The movie is killer. It’s super realistic and actually shows—even if just a tiny slice of reality—how things really work and how that kind of politics actually plays out... To anyone saying this flick sucks: honestly, you’re either totally clueless about the subject matter or it’s just not your thing. If it’s the latter, maybe just skip the comment.
Richard Howard2 said:Before I watched it, everyone was basically like, "Please, whatever you do, don't watch that garbage," and all that stuff. Honestly, I kind of want to shoot them now for being so arrogant about calling this slapstick comedy trash. I realized the only reason anyone hates it is because they just don't get it!🙂
The film is awesome, period. To actually catch all the jokes, you have to be tuned into that world. Since women pretty much run the show in that universe instead of men, they naturally hate the movie. The whole thing is actually a parody of dumb guys, and honestly, those who don't get the joke just end up looking adorable when they fail to see it.😁
The film is perfect, end of story. My brother borrowed it five times and knows the lines by heart. My old man constantly does his "Magnum" impression and whatnot... it seems like only a specific type of guy (you know, the ones who spend 12 hours watching football, sleep 11 hours a day, and, uh, take care of themselves for half an hour daily...) sees absolutely nothing in this movie....
