Which PSU should I buy?

The last three are solid, but the first one's a bit weak...

The CPU is an Intel Core i5
It's fine 🙂 . If you plan on overclocking, the power supply should hold up since that card pulls about 150W, the CPU is 95W, and if everything else takes maybe 50W, you're sitting at 295W total.🙂

Honestly, I’d swap out that power supply immediately... since the thing is basically a junk heap.

Intel Core i5 PC Build
ASUS M4A88T-M
MSI HD5550
2 HDDs and 1 DVD RW
And will there be enough headroom if I swap in a beefier GPU and an SSD later down the line?
Yeah, you're good. Plenty of room left.

... it's the power supply. =)
Just grab a new PSU. Don't bother with anything beefier than your current GPU, because that power supply won't handle the load.

Figure out what you actually need a computer for. If gaming is the goal, just forget about McDonald's, and buying one just to run Windows on it is even stupider.

Everything will fit on that board of yours, don't sweat it 🙂 though don't go expecting a massive upgrade path, especially regarding the CPU...
It looks like this:
ASUS M5A78L-M LX MOTHERBOARD, AMD 760G/SB710, DDR3, AUDIO, VGA, D-SUB, PCI-E, G-LAN, CROSSFIREX, MATX, S. AM3 / AM3+
$127
Intel Athlon II X3 450 BOX PROCESSOR, S. AM3, 3.2GHZ, 1.5MB CACHE, TRIPLE CORE
$186
PC-10666 MEMORY, 4 GB, Corsair Vengeance, 991769, DDR3 1333MHZ
$45
PCI-E VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6770 GRAPHICS CARD, 1GB DDR5, D-SUB, DVI, HDMI, HDTV
$241
430W POWER SUPPLY, CORSAIR CX SERIES V2, COR-CMPSU-430CXV2EU, ATX2 V.2.3, 120MM FAN
$117
TOTAL: $715

I went with a single 4GB stick of RAM just so you actually have an option to upgrade later. 🙂

Look, you can see he added that memory to your cart twice. The graphics are built right into the processor, and honestly, they'll outperform any discrete card up to $167, so you're good to go without worrying about it.

I don't know much about power supplies, but why is this 520W unit so much cheaper than these ones ,
I get that quality matters, but still...
😁
Basically because that PSU feels like a tin can. You'll be lucky if it even pulls a steady 200W without dying...

I don't need this thing for work or anything serious—it’s just for my kid in middle school... they aren't going to be printing much anyway... so I'm looking for something cheap and easy.

Can I find compatible inks (up to $33) for this thing? 😁

or maybe something like this

So, I'm looking for a printer—or an all-in-one—around $350$133. Needs to have cheap third-party ink available, ideally something you can just pick up at a Best Buy or Staples right away. I don't know much about this stuff myself, though it’s actually for a friend.
Thanks in advance

So it’s a waste of money?
Because they're offering used ones for $133 that won't even output a signal—just spinning fans. Might as well take it to a repair shop or try "baking" it in the oven lol
Total waste of cash
