When are we finally going to see a festival lineup announced six months in advance? It feels like we're always left waiting until the last second... never seems to happen, does it? ☕

Six stages...

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
June
22 - 23, 2011 Unconfirmed

that's just some random travel site... doesn't mean anything official has been confirmed yet...
If we’re going to kick off a discussion here—does anyone have any intel on tickets? Like, does anyone know when they actually go on sale?

Such an incredible single!

I honestly think their second album blows the first one out of the water—like, ten times better. It’s way darker and has such a great ambient vibe... those 8-bit sounds they used on the debut started getting on my nerves after just a few tracks. All in all, though, they're a really solid band.
Tickets for Nirvana are $110 during pre-sale, then they go up to $140 at the door on the night of the show.

Hey, I stumbled upon this...

Yeah, I'd definitely love to see stuff like that too—so if anyone happens to have anything saved on their computer, feel free to send it my way or, better yet, just upload it...

I was recently watching some stuff on PBS—one program was about a local violin maker out in the Midwest, and another was this intense documentary about a remote island off the coast that was filmed right after the war. I’ve always had a soft spot for documentaries, especially those deep dives into history... there's just something about seeing how things used to be.

Do you guys have a favorite film you'd recommend? If you can find a link on YouTube, Google Video, or Vimeo, please share it so I can check it out...

So, the night before last, I thought I’d be clever and cool myself down using two fans at once—big mistake. I definitely felt the consequences yesterday, though today isn't quite as intense. This morning, I tried to get up and stretch while I was still half-asleep, and out of nowhere, this pain hit me... it was so sharp I couldn't even pull myself out of bed.

I've marked where it hurts most... I'm also getting some pain in my abdominal muscles whenever I try to strain or move.

Since I don't have an appointment with my doctor until tomorrow morning, I'm wondering what the smartest move is here. Should I just stay still and rest, or should I try to work through it and stretch that muscle out? I took some Voltaren this morning and it helped a little bit, but I'm not sure if I should push through or just take it easy...
I spent all three days taking the light rail over to the bridge and then trekking on foot through the park toward Central Park—it’s about a thirty-minute walk, but honestly, it's not a big deal when you're hanging out with friends. My only real gripe was the trip back... one night we made it to the stop just in time to watch the train pull away without us, so we had to squeeze ourselves into the next one. The day before that, the first train actually skipped the stop because it was so packed, so we ended up waiting for the second one and managed to cram ourselves in somehow. On day zero, though, I was pretty much wasted, so I just hopped on a bus through downtown and eventually wound up at Grand Central Terminal. 😕
I had some crappy hot dog combo for $8.25, and man, what a disaster... after just a couple of bites, I completely lost my appetite. I was thirsty immediately too, though even the beer was pretty terrible. Ended up drinking half water, half beer.😢
If you ask me, I'd say we're looking at a maximum of 20-30k...

Yeah, it was a really good time.

Not really my concern—I picked mine up ages ago.. 🙂

Just so everyone knows, you can pick up tickets at the entrance starting at 5:30 PM on the first day. Just keep in mind, those are ONLY for the pre-festival day. $83.
I’m guessing he’ll probably drop it sometime in the next few days...

Which band? 😁

Well, that actually *is* the band's name—but honestly, they're pretty mediocre...
I'm doing alright... 👍
Yeah, looks like the rain is back again. Honestly, what a mess... 🤷
