What are you still waiting for? You haven't said anything yet, so just hurry up and get on with it.

Headaches / Issues with my head in Health ·
It’s pretty standard, really; I actually have one myself that runs from my hairline down to my temple, which gave me a bit of a scare at first until I realized that my mom, my grandma, and my sister all have them too, just in different spots on their heads.

Tell the old timers to pipe down immediately because acting like some cartel boss is nothing but a hollow threat, though you really ought to dig up some actual proof before you start talking, otherwise nobody's going to buy it... I’m speaking from direct experience here... my best friend is a high-level dealer in Miami.

@ Mark Cruz3, you definitely shouldn't be exposing a fresh scar to the sun; I remember one season when I had surgery, and I didn't even think about stepping out into the sunlight until at least six months had passed.

Mark Cruz3 said:Sunbathing? Honestly, don't listen to any of that misinformation floating around out there! You absolutely cannot expose a fresh scar to the sun. UV rays darken the scar tissue, and once that happens, it’s permanent—it actually ends up looking twice as prominent as it did before. Whether it's hitting the beach or stepping into a tanning bed, just stay away from it entirely. That was the very first thing my surgeon told me following my procedure; I had surgery just two months ago, and my doctor was incredibly firm about the fact that this summer means zero sun exposure and zero tanning salons, even if I'm being diligent about applying high-SPF sunscreen over the area.
I’d suggest massaging the scar with some Voltaren (you can pick it up at any local drugstore without a prescription, it's roughly $27) or perhaps using Scar So Soft. You really need to apply it several times a day for at least a few months to see a difference. Now, I realize everything depends on how deep the scarring is, but in my experience, these methods work wonders, and I truly believe they’ll help accelerate your healing process.

I went through four different surgeries myself... and after finishing rehab and waiting out the required recovery period... the surgeon who operated on me actually told me to get as much sun as possible while applying some calendula cream to the scars (though he didn't mean staying out there 24/7—just an hour or two is plenty). I followed that routine for four months and now you can't even see a single mark. Only people who actually know me can feel a slight trace of the scar with their fingers, but visually, it's gone. Go ahead and tan...

I’m honestly at a bit of a crossroads here because I have this nagging feeling that I might actually regret it once it's done... though part of me is already eyeing a lip piercing too.

Between the sunbathing and using some St. John's Wort oil... my skin just completely lost its way after about four to six hours.

Hey there

nimbleviper142, I did some digging and finally tracked down a tattoo studio... I'm actually heading over there this afternoon to see if they can pull off the specific design I've got in mind... as far as age goes, I'm 19

man, you've totally lost it. Seriously. Getting tattooed under those conditions? In the middle of the street? Who knows what kind of gear he's actually using! You clearly haven't seen how a real tattoo is done... "alcohol," my ass. What kind of alcohol are we even talking about here??
Look, if you want to live in some total backwater nowhere, fine, but you could always save up enough cash to drive to a bigger city nearby and get it done properly... instead of doing it right in the middle of the sidewalk!!!
Sorry man, but that actually shocked me.
Where do you even live? If you're near Los Angeles, let me know and maybe I can recommend a shop... or maybe somewhere in Chicago, I don't know one off the top of my head but I can ask around..
It's definitely better to wait than to do it like this..👎

Well, I wouldn't know... my old man and one of his buddies actually tattooed each other themselves and they still have those tattoos to this day.... I don't live in the US..... there was this guy who did my son-in-law's tattoo who would just come over to the house with all his gear and get it done, but he hasn't been around for months now.....

Look, it’s fine, I don't have any allergies or anything like that... I don't have moles all over my body, just those tiny little freckles on my shoulders from when I spend too much time out in the sun... you know how it goes when you get a bit burnt. What I was actually thinking about was going to this guy who works on the street because there isn't a proper tattoo studio in my town. He told me he could handle it for me. I watched him work, and he had everything—needles, gloves, alcohol, all that stuff. It's just that he operates right outside on the boardwalk; you just sit down on a chair, pick out an image, and he gets to work.

I’m thinking about getting a small tattoo on my back.
My dad actually has four tattoos himself, all from his days serving in the Army back in the day.
He keeps trying every trick in the book to talk me out of it, but I already told him that’s just not my style. Now, I’ve got all sorts of people filling my head with these horror stories about how getting inked can lead to skin cancer... as if God forbid I might eventually need an MRI or a high-tech scanner just to deal with unbearable pain in that spot because I decided to get a tattoo. On the flip side, my uncle is planning on getting the exact same thing, and we’re actually looking at doing it together. He insists all these warnings are complete nonsense; he even mentioned that my father used to do tattoos for him and others using nothing but ink and a needle. So, I’m calling on any doctors, tattoo artists, or even med students out there to weigh in on this—is this all just old wives' tales designed to scare me, or is there some actual truth to what everyone is shouting in my ear? What should I actually be looking out for?👍

Tattoo removal advice? in Health ·
...I’ll leave you with just one little piece of advice...
be careful when you're getting inked, making sure the design stays strictly botanical rather than some sort of military green aesthetic... because heaven forbid you ever face a health crisis like cancer, at which point things could get complicated, since there's a risk that radiation from chemotherapy can react with certain types of ink on the skin and potentially lead to fatal complications.

It’s entirely possible that the individual is dealing with epilepsy, since that foaming at the mouth is such a common symptom that tends to come and go with those who have the condition
Kosmodisk in Health ·
My grandmother actually uses it too, and she says she’s pretty happy with the results—claims she’s moving better, the aches have vanished, all that sort of thing. I dealt with something remarkably similar to what your friend is going through; my back was killing me for months on end until I finally decided to go see a Bioenergicar Rus. He told me that because I had suddenly quit playing water polo, my muscles had basically gone slack, which caused these Triger points to form—those little knots that squeeze your muscles and press against the nerves in your spine. His advice was to hit up a physical therapist to get those knots broken up and then head straight to the gym to build up some new muscle mass to compensate. That’s exactly what I did, and the pain just stopped. I’d honestly suggest your friend follow that same path. What a load of nonsense this Kosmodisk business is!
