There really isn’t any reason to start panicking over this... the kid was just out there blowing off some steam and acting like a bit of a rebel with the rest of those troublemakers... though I suppose when I look back at my own younger days, I remember how much trouble I used to get into myself... back then, I was practically covered in bruises and scrapes from one thing to the next, but you realize eventually that everything heals... he's still got such a young, resilient body, so there's really no reason to think things won't turn out perfectly fine
I suppose I went ahead and asked the question... my bad
I was just wondering if having absolutely no history of cancer in the family—you know, Mom, Dad, baba Deda—actually lowers your own risk, or if there's some other way it works out since genes tend to travel in such unpredictable ways
I was just wondering, if there isn’t any history of cancer anywhere in your family tree, does that actually mean you're in the clear, or is there still a chance someone could develop it anyway?
Thanks... everyone... I’m definitely going to get that done...@silverseal28 I actually know a girl who had to undergo surgery on her lip... because it turned out she was allergic to the material... and she had no idea at the time.
So... I've been sitting on this idea for quite a while now, thinking about getting a small stud piercing on my lower lip. I’ve pretty much exhausted the literature on the subject. I'm fully aware of the drill—finding a sterile studio, following the aftercare regimen, and keeping up with the creams once the initial healing phase settles in after about three weeks. But there is one thing I just cannot find any solid info on online... people keep insisting that a lip piercing carries some kind of cancer risk because of how it interacts with a specific nerve. They tell me this twenty times a day until I finally lost my cool. I told my family—my inner circle—that when they picked up cigarettes, they knew the cancer risk was there too. Thank God they didn't end up with it, but they’re still Hardcore Pusac smokers nonetheless. I want this piercing, and that's that.
To all the medical students and pro piercers out there... could you break it down for me in a few bullet points? How do I handle this the right way, and what specific things should I be looking for when I walk into a studio? I'd really rather not walk out with an unrequested gift like HIV.😍
P.S. I'm over 18, and despite everything I've read, that little voice of doubt is still nagging at me.👍
Don't worry about it, really, because I went through something similar a few years back when I suffered some burns, and all that's left is this faint white scar near my eye that just sort of drifts in and out of sight whenever it feels like it.
@Morgan Williams4, honestly, whether you're sipping on a Jack Daniel's or staying sober, you just need to quit smoking... I spent a good amount of time completely deluded about the whole thing until about two months ago, but thank God I finally saw sense
I’ve been smoking way too much lately and honestly, I’m feeling pretty great about it... it almost feels like I could float up toward the moon for a month straight if I really tried.
slywolf45 said:🤣 🤣 🤣 Honestly, I had to laugh out loud at that one. My dear, people with those inclinations have existed since the dawn of time...
I suspect you might have missed my point entirely, though perhaps I wasn't being particularly clear myself.
What I was actually getting at is that on a global scale, for a very long time now, being gay isn't some freak occurrence... most people in the world don't even blink at it or react with that sort of "oh my god, how scandalous" attitude. We’re still living in a bit of a rural mindset here, and I reckon it’ll probably stay a taboo subject in our neck of the woods for at least another twenty years or so.
Did that click, or should I try explaining it differently?
Hey everyone, here we go again with the same old repetitive debate. We’re basically just spinning our wheels trying to have a serious discussion about something that science hasn't even fully defined yet, so at the end of the day, we're all just guessing. Personally, I’ve always accepted the fact that GAY-ov is right there around every corner, and I view it as perfectly normal. I spent a good chunk of my life living abroad, and let me tell you, people with those orientations have been a visible part of society for decades... whereas over here in the States, it feels like it only became a massive trend in the last five or ten years. I can still vividly remember being a four-year-old kid back then; we lived near a certain establishment in Germany where the windows were positioned such that you could see everything happening inside. It was a mix of all sorts of people, both 😉 (GAY&HETERO), just coming and going. That was where they really cut their teeth, I suppose. A few days after moving in, I realized there were two guys living in my own apartment building who identified that way. Back then, as a kid, the whole concept of MAN&MAN didn't really register with me, but as the years passed and I grew up, I just accepted it for what it is. It's just how things are. To be completely honest, looking at the sheer variety of people out there in the world, the whole concept will probably never fully make sense to me, but that doesn't actually matter. Whatever floats their boat; it's not my business what people choose to do with their lives.
...but there’s more to the story... if you pick up two Stomach-eliminators, they throw in a set of food storage containers for free.
...actually, it gets better... the first 100 people to order also get a professional knife set...
P.S. Are you trying to tell us that you're just far too brilliant to spend your time doing something as mindless as repeating the exact same motion over and over again?
It isn't that, really; I suppose I’m just a little embarrassed to show up at the local Gold's Gym alongside all those fitness fanatics... I'd rather just get some basic shape first.
Hey everyone, does anyone have any alternative advice for muscle building, because I’m really just not feeling the motivation to head over to the gym today.
