Is it actually possible for a nose that’s wide both at the bridge and the tip to look decent if you only fix the tip or the cartilage, while leaving those wider bone structures alone?
Looking at that gallery from Ostojić, it seems like everyone ends up with the exact same nose—just this identical, bulbous look after the surgery... I wonder, does it actually stay like that forever, or does the tip eventually settle back to something resembling a normal nose later on?

And don't get me started on the razor burn... just when I think I'm finally in the clear, everything flares up again. It’s infuriating. Redness, itching, irritation—it looks terrible. A little bit of baby powder helps, sure, but having to constantly dump powder in my underwear or slather on creams several times a day? It’s such a massive hassle. 🙄

For me, even the powder doesn't do much; I'm just left with these little sores and scars in all sorts of colors. 🙄 The only thing that doesn't cause a reaction is using a razor, but let's be real—that isn't exactly a smart move, neither for skin health nor for aesthetics.
Most of my advice actually comes from drag queen forums 🙏 (I know, how does that sound? But honestly, if anyone knows how to deal with unwanted hair, it's them.)

Honestly, I’d probably just invite her over for a mutual hair removal session.😍
I handle my back, butt, shoulders, stomach, neck, face, and chest area with depilatory cream, then use an epilator for my legs and arms. Most days everything stays quiet, but then out of nowhere, the rashes start breaking out. It’s almost comical, really. I’m not even overly hairy, just incredibly sensitive to every single method used to get rid of it.
I gave up on going to professional estheticians because a full monthly treatment ends up costing way too much, especially since I need maintenance every ten days... which is more frequent than every two weeks.
Thanks for the input, stranger from Daddy's side of the family.☕
I tried using lightening creams on my back, butt, and stomach, but you can still feel the texture under your fingers. But whatever, I’m used to it by now. You eventually get used to anything, don't you?
It looks... totally normal (lol), and honestly, it’s because it actually is. I'm talking about my 100% natural nose here. 😍 So, yeah, just a permanent state of having a gorgeous face—zero post-op swelling to speak of.
Dear forum members, let me introduce you to... 🙂 My Nose:

From a semi-profile view, it looks like there’s a hump, but there really isn't... it's just an excessively wide bone base.
http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/8...pboard02hc.jpg

That "hump" just keeps evolving into an even more bulbous mess, doesn't it?

A bird's-eye view.
I can't see the image you've linked. Could you please upload it directly or describe what’s in it? Once I know what we're looking at, I can give you my thoughts.

But then again, looking at the profile... everything seems perfectly normal. 😬

Well, here I am, just sitting here feeling quite satisfied with myself because I have such a great profile and, more importantly, truly excellent ears... Honestly? I’d bet anything that nobody else out there has ears as fine as mine. 😛 And honestly, I have pretty decent eyes and lips too—though, admittedly, you won't really notice them until I finally crop my nose out of the photo. 😬
Whatever. Besides, everyone’s looking at my boobs anyway. 😍
What if you all just stopped being so obsessed with everyone's anatomy
and actually tried spending time with the person you're falling for—or whatever it is you're doing—instead of constantly stressing over why they were born with one set of parts rather than another?
As someone living with BPD, I honestly couldn't deal with a partner who’s just as scattered and emotionally volatile as I am.
Maybe they’d be an interesting distraction if I didn't already have enough experience in that particular circle of hell, 🙄
Amanda Ramirez42 said:Hi everyone!

I’ve been away for a bit, so here’s my report on the current situation: I went in for a revision consultation in Miami about ten days ago, and calling that guy a total egomaniac and a know-it-all is actually an understatement... anyway, I completely agree with sunnyday—and I’m sorry she isn't participating in this thread anymore. (You were right; he thinks every other doctor out there is incompetent.)

In my opinion, the man doesn't even have a job, because he told me I could just go in for surgery tomorrow if I felt like it. And while we're at it, let me just say you can barely get a word in edgewise. He spends most of the time rambling about things that have nothing to do with my nose—like how some girl Blanka had her nose ruined by someone else, yet somehow they blame him. As if.

He only showed me two photos of his own work; the profiles look fine, but from the front? Absolute disasters. He also bragged about how he fixed his sister's nose (I think her name was Angelika or something) in the very first month, but I don't like it one bit. The tip is way too large and bulbous, while the bridge is incredibly narrow. It doesn't suit her at all since she’s a petite, short woman, and it just looks disproportionate. A complete catastrophe.
anyway 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎:f lop:

I also saw the other doctor, and I am completely satisfied with his approach. He’s actually polished—he has the manners of an educated professional (unlike the previous guy, who was unshaven and swearing constantly), which, I have to admit, gives me some confidence that I'll be happy with the results. He isn't pushy; he actually listens to you before making suggestions. His office is great, and the staff is wonderful too. I truly felt comfortable during the consultation, and my appointment is set for June 7th.

Whisper, what’s going on with your nose? Have you decided to go through with the revision yet?

Don't traumatize me now.😢 I was just about to decide that the first choice was the other guy, and then I read this...
I did notice that his website doesn't show any frontal views, just profiles... I mean, if he actually does a good job, I don't care if he has a beard, horns, swears like a sailor, or wears high heels while operating.
Maybe he only showed you those two photos because those cases were similar to yours? Personally, I don't have a hundred profiles and bumps to look at since that's not my issue.
Does anyone who knows the area better than I do happen to be closer to Corfu than Washington, D.C.? 🙂
Laura Castillo7 said:I honestly think every plastic surgeon does that. They just got ahead of themselves, so I don't think what you're dealing with is actually a big deal.

That’s exactly what scares me... that it might snap. I'm being too confident, maybe there's too much crunchiness involved, and I'll end up looking like Lil' Kim. That's why I'm hunting for someone who actually has experience dealing with bulbous tips.
And does the mold go over the entire nose, or what? I can't exactly twist just the tip... right?

By the way—I have this idea that they shave that muscle in the mouth so the reconstructed nose doesn't shift later and become even more unstable than the original. Because, you know, it's pretty ugly when it moves while you're talking, yeah right.
Aaw, gorgonzola.... 😍
Ha! I finally spotted "my nose," specifically the left side. The base is totally normal, but the tip is nearly twice as wide—it’s got this weird indentation running right down the middle, making it look more like a backside than a nose. 🙄

If you listen to what some American surgeons suggest, all they want to do is just pull the skin back and trim away the excess cartilage.
(though looking at the photo, it seems like they were trying to narrow things even further...)

Does anyone actually know who performs procedures like this? I’ve been scrolling through various high-end clinic websites, but everyone seems obsessed with fixing bumps, crooked noses, or deviations. That isn't my issue at all.
Honestly, I'm a little nervous... I don't want them using me as a test subject. 😲
My nose actually works just fine, for what it's worth*. I haven't dealt with an allergic reaction in two years—you know, none of those stuffed-up noses, headaches, dizziness, or fevers that used to hit me after being out in the grass too long. Plus, I wasn't spending most of the year waking up in a panic and sprinting to the bathroom for toilet paper... whereas usually, I was just constantly dealing with a cold.

I honestly thought that once things settled down and reached some kind of "normal" state, it would resolve itself. But nope. It still looks swollen; there are no clear lines anymore, even though it’s technically symmetrical. It looks like half a pear just stapled onto my face.
Not to mention how much wider it is compared to everything else (even if my profile looks okay from the side).

Is there any way to reduce this without going under the knife?

*By the way, my breathing is pretty shallow. I get this semi-intoxicated, lightheaded feeling whenever someone tells me to take a deep breath, and if I try to breathe through my nose while running, I end up choking.
Christians, for instance? It feels like that's being pushed as some sort of absolute good way too often these days...
So, we’re back to the whole reptilian and shapeshifter conspiracy controlling global politics...

There’s this guy, well over thirty, who’s convinced he’s some kind of Freemason, Luciferian, Illuminati elite.
He also insists on exclusively dating teenagers—specifically girls between fifteen and eighteen—on the condition that they believe everything he says and happen to be at a certain point in their monthly cycle.
See, he’s under the impression that women were biologically engineered by aliens using a twenty-eight-day lunar cycle, supposedly containing some toxic element designed to shorten men's lifespans and wreck their immune systems. His theory? The extraterrestrials did it just to thin out the male population, making the planet easier to control.
The man is obsessed with dead presidents, those massive pyramids out in Siberia (?), and various supposed "paths to immortality"... He spends his time reading some fringe magazine called The Third Eye and swallows every single word they print.
He pays homage to the Great Architect and genuinely believes that the peak of mental and spiritual evolution is reached by some star warrior guarding the edge of the galaxy (?)
And honestly... he just exhausts everyone he comes into contact with.
As for the fact that he's on heavy medication and has to check in with his psychiatrist regularly? Oh, of course, in his mind, that’s just another massive cover-up—further proof that he’s actually special.

@redharbor9,
By the way—if you happen to be into yaoi, I might have a few decent links for you. 😍

🤣🤣🤣

Maybe it’s because of that tired old trope you see in every mindless sitcom—you know, the one where a woman's best friend is always her gay sidekick. 😬

I’m wondering about something else—do you think he’d run into issues where people claim he isn't "fit" for the job just because of his orientation?
I don't get this at all.

I'd have a massive problem if people knew I was bi. I’ve got way too many weirdos constantly judging my every move.
I also have to watch my step now. I stopped blogging altogether. I’m being careful about what I say and everything.

Man... reading this back, I sound like an idiot. 🙄
Yeah... you sound like it. 😍

Unless you're actually looking for a boyfriend instead of a therapist,
I fail to see why that would matter or why anyone would feel the need to highlight it to you.... 🤷
I suppose it’s much easier to just ask him out for a drink than to play the role of a patient just to get close to him.

Well, yes,
he'd be far more at risk of having his sexuality exposed if there were homophobes among his supervisors
than any of his actual patients would be.

So, we're correcting our own behavior now? Fine. Let whatever happens, happen. 😍

How would you even find out what their orientation is in the first place?

No,
honestly, I don't think it would even matter to me. As long as they're a solid therapist who actually knows how to help, that’s all that counts, right?

But there is something else on my mind—do you think someone could run into issues because of their orientation? Like, being told they aren't "fit" for the profession or some other nonsense?
For me, it would be an issue in my own line of work if people knew I was bi, mostly because I deal with enough judgmental types as it is.
I have to watch everything I do. I actually stopped writing my blog altogether; I'm constantly filtering what I say and how I act, just to stay under the radar.

Hmm... looking back at this now, I realize I sound pretty ridiculous... 🙄
