I was actually watching this video today of a couple whose baby was late. The mom started trying every single trick in the book to induce labor—acupuncture, acupressure, massage, you name it. Sure, she finally got some contractions, but they just beat her up for a week straight 😲 before the baby showed up ten days later via induction anyway. Honestly, seeing someone go that crazy makes me not want to try any of that. When it happens, it happens. From here on out, we're taking it easy...

In our situation, it might actually be better if we don't start them in school too early, especially since they'll be growing up bilingual. Kids are quick learners, sure, but when you're navigating two languages at once, you really have to give them some breathing room.

I know one woman who can't even tell you her own birthday for the exact same reason. Then there’s another one who knows her birthday, but has no clue where she was born because her mom went into labor on a train somewhere between New York City and Washington, D.C.
