ASUS cards generally come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty regardless of which retailer you buy from.

It’s not a mistake; it’s a business model pivot. You see it all the time where shops only honor the legal 2-year minimum, leaving you to chase the manufacturer for the rest. That's a huge headache when you actually need help, especially if the manufacturer doesn't have a direct service center or representative right here in the States.

Obviously, Protis isn't handing out extended warranties. They just act as the bridge so you can claim the full manufacturer's warranty through them—exactly how ADM used to handle things.

ADM cut their GPU warranty down to just 24 months, so you're better off checking other retailers where they still offer 36 months... especially since the prices aren't even that different.

Look, RT isn't really meant for AMD cards yet. I play RDR2 at 1440p on ultra and I'm averaging near 70 fps. Granted, I'm running a Sapphire RX 6700 XT Nitro, but there shouldn't be that much of a gap just based on the specific model... maybe you've got a different bottleneck? Also, those ultra settings are mostly pointless compared to very high, and they just murder your frame rates.

Honestly, if you're looking for a new GPU today, you might as well just buy a pre-built PC. When you actually run the numbers, buying a complete system is often cheaper than trying to pick up a card by itself...

For instance, the cheapest RX 6900 XT you can find is $4.75, and this specific build featuring that card paired with a Ryzen 5 5800X goes for $6.25. It’s still overpriced, let’s be real, but it shows how much more sense these pre-configured setups make compared to building one from scratch 🤦 (you see even better deals with ready-to-go builds using an RTX 3060)

There's nothing smart left to pick... about a year ago you could have grabbed an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super for this much, but nowadays all you can find is a GTX 1650 for around $1400...$500...

It also depends on how close you sit to the screen... A 27" display is just right for 1440p because 1080p can look incredibly grainy if you're sitting too close. At that size, 1080p only gives you about 81.59 ppi, whereas 1440p hits a much smoother 108.79 ppi.

For $0.50, this 32" IPS 1440p FreeSync 75Hz monitor... is definitely worth it....picked one up for my wife's home office last week and she’s loving it. 👍

Just grab this one from Links. Don't bother with those single-fan models... this is basically the cheapest GTX 1660 Super you can find with dual fans. I actually picked one up last Friday to replace my dead RX 480. Honestly, the 1660 Super is plenty for you; you don't need the 1660 Ti. The price jump just isn't worth it.

You didn't mention—or maybe I missed it—if those monitors are 1080p or some other resolution. That's really the only thing that matters regarding the displays. Also, think about how you plan to plug them in (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) just to make sure the card actually has enough ports for you.
