Good concept, but it was executed so sloppily with all these annoying directing gimmicks that would probably only impress some 16-year-old kid obsessed with video games. And when the villain started doing that whole dance number, I was just like, WTF?

The reviews for that movie are all over the place, but I'm actually pretty curious to see it. I heard the visuals are stunning since they shot some of it in Hong Kong, if I remember right...

I’ve always found Rosemary's Baby to be the better, more intense movie because you aren't entirely sure until the very end if she’s just losing her grip or if everything is actually happening to her... To me, The Exorcist always felt a bit over the top, almost like a dark comedy, though maybe that's just because it's been parodied and quoted so many times since

Exactly. Same thing happened here. I totally struck out with Transformers too... I spent half the movie just staring blankly like a deer in headlights, trying my best to make sense of the shaky shots.😠

Man, this movie was just all over the place. The special effects are actually pretty cool, though it’s hard to even catch them because the editing is so frantic—that rapid-fire cutting has been driving me crazy in Hollywood movies lately. But the plot and the characters? Good grief. Everything feels like it was just sketched out in bullet points. The concept itself is genuinely interesting, it's just a massive missed opportunity... still, I've seen much worse

Like a lot of people have already mentioned here—Minority Report is easily one of the most believable visions of the future (those little earpieces they use are such a cool touch 😁 )

Spielberg's A.I. is another great one, especially the way they portray the future in the first half—late 21st century, a flooded New York City, robots, and all the social implications that come with it.

Gattaca also presents a really plausible scenario in terms of concept—genetic discrimination and everything that entails.

And then there's I, Robot—maybe we won't see robots quite like those in twenty years (though, who knows?), but the overall setting feels very likely.

Honestly, anything is possible in the future, and I'm sure we'll face things that most movies haven't even hinted at. For instance, IBM just developed something that could seriously shake up computer technology: , but who knows.....

I just hope all those different apocalyptic scenarios don't actually come true.😲 Sure, it looks cool on screen, but in real life, it wouldn't be much fun...

Visually stunning, but the direction feels a bit all over the place. It starts off strong and then just pivots into something completely different. I’m honestly still not sure if the captain from Icarus Part I turned into some kind of superhuman by the end or what... he's framed in every shot like he's practically glowing.

It honestly scares me thinking that DVDs will eventually end up where VHS is today. Just when you finally get a decent collection together, Blu-ray and HD-DVD come knocking on the door...

Still, you can play a DVD on most Blu-ray or HD-DVD players, so I don't think DVDs will disappear from the scene quite as fast
