Watched it today... I'm feeling pretty indifferent about the whole thing. It wasn't exactly a stroke of genius, but it certainly wasn't terrible either. I'd say it leans more toward being good than bad. 😁

In a different thread, I would list a wider variety of genres, specifically highlighting crime stories, rare animated films, horror, and comedies.

Musicals, westerns, and plain dramas just feel bland to me.

I caught the last few minutes of the first half, but it was honestly too painful to sit through, so I switched over to the news instead. Every single time I glanced back at the screen, those Spaniards had scored. It felt like my mere presence was bringing them luck, so I decided I wouldn't watch another second!

And then, when I finally went back to check the score—nearly died!

It doesn't matter; I've already watched the replay and my own recording 😉

I actually mentioned in another thread how much I can't stand the Spanish 😠 — if only they could just lose (for my sake, 😁 )

Of course, once that happens, our ambitions will skyrocket and we'll all be demanding gold 😁 , but honestly, looking past those first two games, the guys have shown what they're truly made of. They fought hard and beat the best out there. Regardless of how things shake out from here, they have my absolute 🙏 !

Let's be clear here: if I thought a movie stunk, I would have the guts to say it's 🙂, and I'd defend my position until the bitter end. But there's a way to do that: "I think it's stupid because the pacing is off, the direction is poor, the acting is subpar, or the script is weak..." etc. You don't do it by shouting: "It's just immature nonsense involving minors, Romani people, and gay characters—what do you kids even know about life!!?"

Now you've gone and reminded me that I urgently need to watch it myself! 😁

Perhaps that stems from the fact that it's produced from scraps—bones, ears, trotters, and such. Isn't there something distinctive about that

I have been waiting for quite some time now for something new from the duo behind Se7en: David Fincher & Andrew Kevin Walker.

Since watching Se7en, I haven't encountered a film that has truly impressed me to that degree... 😢
