Then he probably wasn't talking about you.🤷
To crowd complaining about historical inaccuracies. I’ll probably get flagged for this, but you people are absolute idiots. 🤦

Great movie and a solid setup for The Avengers. The acting is top-tier; Jones is a powerhouse. 🙏 High-octane action, a straightforward plot with just enough humor. Even the romance works—it stays on the periphery where it belongs in an action flick, yet still manages a somewhat unexpected twist.

Reading through this, I was expecting gore, skulls, guts, and having to grab a trash can to throw up. Instead, it’s just a few harmless games being pushed in an ad I happened to notice. Honestly, I didn't give it a second thought because getting rid of it is as simple as moving my mouse half an inch toward me and clicking out.

You people are seriously pathetic whiners. 🤷

There you go. That's 45 points right there. 😂

Nisan might try to come after me with this post, but I usually stick to the NFL subreddits where people actually have some stamina, so this kind of nonsense is tolerated there. No apologies from me.

So, you're all just spoiled brats. Is that accurate enough for you? 🙂

Roger Barrett2 said:Look, I agree that under the laws of the USA, being gay isn't a choice, a crime, or an infraction—there's no debate there. However, from the perspective of Christian revelation (as it stands), being gay and xyz2 other things are considered sins by God. But—and I feel like I've said this seven or eight times now—just because something is a sin (in this case, being gay) doesn't mean it's a criminal offense.

Essentially, God said one thing in Christian revelation, and the laws of the USA say another. Fine, I get both, but I just don't understand why someone is penalized for expressing what is written in Christian revelation (in this case, me), provided they aren't claiming that a state's civil laws must align with religious ideals?

Again, I'm appealing to the distinction between expressing religious views and actually inciting or advocating for illegal actions based on those same religious views. Those two things are fundamentally different. For example: Saying that being gay is a sin is perfectly fine from a believer's Christian perspective. Saying that gay people should be stoned or thrown in jail because they are "wrong" is illegal and subject to sanction.

In my case, Twitter got it wrong, the admins confirmed it, and honestly, it’s a shame.

That's pretty much it. I've had enough of gays and corruption for one day...

Question. What punishment does the Christian God prescribe for homosexuals? Furthermore, can one truly be a follower of Christianity without adhering to the laws and rules set by the Christian God? Do not mistake my inquiry for a provocation; I simply find your distinction unclear.

So, which of the following hypothetical posts would you argue should be sanctioned (if any at all):
Homosexuals should be stoned.

Homosexuals should be stoned because that is what is written in my religion's holy book.

My religion's holy book states that homosexuals should be stoned. As a member of that religion, I follow its rules.

I've been watching these videos, and I'm still a bit confused about the rules once the ball is kicked. Does play stop immediately after a player catches it, or what? I notice some players pause while others just keep right on going. Can someone clarify how this works?
Jessica Gonzalez said:I mean, the movie isn't perfect, but in this era of YouTube and Facebook, people mostly just click "like" or "dislike," which I guess ends up giving this Robin Hood a lower rating than some total junk like Film Noir. The cinematography is great and you can tell a lot of effort went into it, so maybe it should only be compared to movies in its own league rather than getting those extreme "this is the worst movie ever" reviews. People who post stuff like that probably just don't have much going on upstairs.

Personally, I found that bit where they flirt with modern social behaviors a little annoying, kind of like in First Knight (or whatever that movie with Heath Ledger was called).

You mean A Knight's Tale?

That film is essentially a lark; it doesn't even attempt to be overly serious (for what it's worth, I think the movie is excellent). You can hardly draw a comparison between it and Robin Hood.
I have never been closer to falling asleep in an AMC Theatres in my life. It was tedious and far too bloated for my taste.🤷
Iron Man 2 (2010) in Movies ·
James Turner3 said:Can someone just give me one sentence explaining who on earth Thor is? Like, what's his actual connection to Iron Man that justifies him showing up in that final scene, and why specifically in a crater?? Also, where was it even implied that Hulk's storyline was happening at the exact same time?

Look, it’s simple. Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk (which isn't Hulk 2—this movie has zero connection to the Ang Lee version), and the upcoming Thor and Captain America films are all based on Marvel characters. They all exist within the same cinematic universe.

In 2012, The Avengers comes out, bringing together the cast from all those individual movies.

The timeline works out like this:

First, there's Captain America, set during World War II.
Then comes Iron Man.
After that, you have Iron Man 2, Thor, and The Incredible Hulk, which all take place roughly at the same time.
And finally, predictably, The Avengers arrives.

That post-credits scene in Hulk featuring Stark is chronologically the most recent event shown in the movies released up to this point.

These Puma pieces are top-tier. I’m particularly drawn to the design featuring the graphic on the right shoulder.
Terminator Salvation. I really had high hopes for this one. We finally get the future we were promised—the war against the machines, John Connor stepping up as a rebel leader. It had all the ingredients to be a masterpiece. Honestly, I was pretty hyped for it to be a standout, but in the end, it was just okay. Nothing special.

Night Watch. I heard nothing but rave reviews about this movie before sitting down to watch it. I genuinely thought it would blow my mind. Instead, I got the usual: tedious, slow-paced "art" garbage where you have to sit through thirty minutes of footage just to see the plot move five minutes. Toss in those exhausting, frustrating camera angles that seem specifically designed to show the least interesting part of any given scene, and you have a disaster. Very few films have let me down quite like this one.
The Underworld Saga (2003-2009) in Movies ·
It’s a tough call. Honestly, I find every single one of these movies to be excellent, and it always feels like whichever one I happen to be watching at the moment is the best one. But if I absolutely have to pick just one... fine, let's go with the first one.
coastalridge64 said:No, I suspect people will actually be mourning the way the game used to be.

People might cry over plenty of things, but I doubt any sane person will complain about soccer finally being played by the rules. That doesn't mean everything will run perfectly, but at least there will be more consistency than the absolute mess we're seeing today.
It’s nonsense, if you ask me. They are simply delaying the inevitable—which would be the obvious fix: actually utilizing those 17,000 cameras already positioned around the pitch. I suspect that in twenty years, people will look back and laugh at the sheer stupidity of what they're attempting right now.
My Bloody Valentine 3D in Movies ·
The film was mediocre at best. A decent horror flick, I guess. But honestly, the real experience was the 3D aspect. It was my first time seeing anything in 3D, and there were a few scenes that actually caught me off guard. If this had been a standard 2D screening, I probably wouldn't have reacted that way. You get this involuntary reflex where you try to flinch away when something appears to be lunging toward you. 🙂
Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) in Movies ·
Good movie. They hit the nail on the head by sticking to the game's actual storyline instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. I honestly can't wrap my head around why most filmmakers feel the need to go with that second option.

It looks pretty solid.
Zeitgeist ~ Addendum in Movies ·
Morgan Rodriguez57 said:I could also write a book about aliens living on Mars, but just because it's written down doesn't make it true...

They lack actual evidence. These books just lean on other books rather than primary documents or hard facts, and those other books are often lying or fabricating data in the first place...

For example: that depiction of the crucified Dionysus seen in various Zeitgeist The movie advertisements is certainly impressive, isn't it? It supposedly proves that Christians stole the cross and placed Christ upon it. However, once you realize that specific portrayal of Dionysus originates from the 2nd or 3rd century AD—rather than the pre-Christian era—the whole narrative shifts. Suddenly, Dionysus just jumped on the cross instead of Jesus, right? 😉

Or consider another case: they claim Krishna was born a virgin like Jesus, when in reality, he was either the seventh or eighth child of his mother... 🤣

I agree. The first part has a few interesting points, but the creators rely heavily on inaccurate data. Along with those two examples, you have that ridiculous comparison between the word "Sun" and "Son" based purely on English phonetic similarities. It is easily one of the more idiotic arguments in the film. It’s a shame it's handled so sloppily; Christianity could be discredited much more effectively using methods similar to those used by Richard Dawkins or Harris, for instance.

Because of this, I really don't feel like sitting through the rest of it.🤷

Does anyone know if these guys are actually planning to sync this movie for theaters?🤷 If they are, I'll just be downloading it.
