Some mix of bad luck and pure laziness absolutely wrecked my weekend, and now I’m feeling this unavoidable, heavy pressure to finally crack open the laptop. It’s like I'm being forced to stay cooped up in my own house just to grind through these overdue articles—and by overdue, I mean they're lagging behind in every possible way.

Girls Night can take a breather. 😢

So basically, they weren't actually as bad as everyone keeps claiming... 😉

🙂

I mean, honestly, just stick to those new ties... leave the old ones alone...

And then you've got Mogwai just mashing together karate and every single poser out there... ☕

I mean, why even bother sweating the small stuff like that?... 😬
Dana Anderson4 said:I think you're probably talking about Ljubiša Ristić and his whole avant-garde theater scene back in the day... 😲

There’s already a song about that, so there’s really no point in me repeating myself. I mean, maybe there was some kind of charisma found in a stuffed bird—or maybe there wasn't... who knows? :kadfazanilete: 🙂

🙏 🙏 🙏

big respect

if I were in NYC, I’d definitely show up, just because of the announcement alone

and honestly, a little bit for Metessi too 😳
Jason Richardson5 said:But you're clearly just an AOR fanatic😁

🙂 I used to be, but now I mostly identify as a marcypunker. 😬 Honestly, I'm pretty much over that whole teenage obsession with AOR... 🤣
Honestly, I’d be a hell of a lot happier if you guys actually understood how AOR works, dammit! 🙏 👋

I’d honestly rather just head straight to Barcelona, especially considering all the other attractions you can hit up there... 🙂
Jerry Patel6 said:Welcoming Committee in Flames might actually pull off one of those insane shows at the IEEE venue, assuming they play half as wild as they look...

Khm... Don't sweat it, it won't be quite that bad (please don't show this to the singer, I WASN'T talking about her...) 🤣 Honestly, how crazy it gets just depends on what kind of gear the drummer decides to bash things with... 😈
The Ramones should honestly just be called the Trifrtaljbosi. It’s two guys and one Japanese woman... 😬
Zachary Bishop82 said:I’ve always been totally captivated by New York City. I grew up hearing all these legends about how gorgeous the place is, and now you're out here telling me stories about its "charming" locals too...

The city is stunning. The women are too... 😍 😍 😍
But once you start looking at the gritty details, like that gang you mentioned, you suddenly feel pretty lucky to be living in a quiet, suburban bubble like Washington, D.C. Where you can still walk through 90% of the neighborhoods totally fine, both day and night...
Zachary Bishop82 said:Those guys look like they’re collecting debts from grandmas in New York City... you definitely don't want to mess with them.

Have you actually been there? You're not even close, though I guess the older guys do look exactly like a gang that runs a parking racket near the train station. I mean, there isn't any official enforcement, but if you have half a brain, you aren't leaving your car there without tossing them something... And everyone's walking around with these weird bulges under their clothes because they can't pass through metal detectors, mostly because there are other gangs lurking nearby just waiting to move in on their turf...

Pretty decent city. 🙂

🙂

So, this lineup—is that too radical for you? Because I am all in. Harrigan and Hanzaplast already snagged their tickets, now we're just waiting on everyone else... It isn't just Tedek, either. We've got Sonic Youth, Jonathan Richman, Patti Smith, Matt Elliott, Billy Bragg, and a whole bunch of other killer acts on the bill... 😍

Man, I would kill to see about fifteen artists from this lineup... 😲

A fifteen-hour drive each way (or just grabbing a Southwest Airlines flight through New York City), the tickets, a Hotel for maybe three or four nights... you could probably pull it off for around $450 per person, plus whatever you blow on food, drinks, and random junk...

Anyone actually down for this?

Nothing compares to sin Eater... 🙏 🙏 🙏

...though honestly, it’s about time they finally dropped a new one.

Božo lav is a total master, no question about it. 👍 Plus, he actually dropped a shout-out to Buffalo in a song, which makes him an even bigger legend in my eyes and Micek's eyes too... 😍
