We’ve actually been pulling the last few patrols without him anyway. It’s not quite the same, but it isn't terrible either. The only thing is, I’m getting screwed because he used to be the one behind the wheel, and now that I’m driving, I can't really go as heavy on the drinks.
Man, remind me to check back in on The Residents... those guys were legendary. I honestly wish they’d make a comeback...

And about that whole dressing debate above—maybe if I looked at it from a guy's perspective, I wouldn't be so narrow-minded. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the girls I run into at NPR shows (you know, when I'm actually out enjoying myself) dressed more like the crowd you see at a country concert or a heavy techno club (usually after I've had a brutal shift dealing with those endless patrols over at ExxonMobil)... 😁 🙂

1. you saucy little git!
2. you plonker!
3. cushdie (ugh, I can't even spell it right)
4. you wally!
5. you know it makes sense

Not a single one in French??? 😲

And I'm missing "Gordon Bennett!" too...😁

I actually just had this playing as my victory anthem after crushing it in those high-stakes, super intense matchups... you know, the ones against your own brothers. Doesn't matter if it's football or some backyard game. It felt even better knowing they can't stand Cave, though I did end up listening to him once or twice in the meantime...
When you're talking about Duane Allman and that part of Layla, you’ve gotta bring up the Allman Brothers Band too—stuff like Hot Lanta and Jessica, and if you can, definitely that middle section of Blue Sky.

And speaking of specific parts, those last two-thirds of Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well are just unbeatable. Their Jigsaw puzzle blues is killer, not to mention Greenov's Supernatural, which was recorded back when they were still with the Bluesbreakers.

Better if I just shut up now, there's way too much to get into...

I mean, I haven't even gotten to Hangedup, Manitoba, or GYBE—wherever that exclamation point ended up—not to mention Cul de sac or Zoviet Franc...

The songs are killer, though. Probably. 😉

just now; Something's gotten hold of my Heart 😂

anyway, that whole "title track" thing isn't even his own creation, so it doesn't even count! 🙂

There, fixed it. Total Freudian slip on my part... guess I stood too still during the national anthem with my hand over my heart and just lost my bearings... 😁

I know he didn't write it, but his performance is hands down the best. Plus, I've always been obsessed with Licking against The bricks (intentional typo there, couldn't help myself... 😁 ) and it sucks that nobody nominated anything from that album.

Finally, someone actually brought this up. If I were the one putting together an all-time favorites list, she’d be right at the top for me. But since we're picking just one, there's really no debate—it's gotta be Knocking. Though, honestly, I could go on forever with Slowly goes The Night , Carny, Something's gotten hold of my Heart , Mercy , Mercy Seat, City of refuge, Fo, Nobody's Baby now , do you Love me, Tupelo, and a whole bunch of others that I won't even bother listing here...

Or am I wrong?
👍 Man, it’s such a shame he joined Williams right when things were going south. Back at Lotus, the guy looked just as talented as Hakkinen. Honestly, his performance there just proves what a beast he really is...

The two absolute best tracks featuring a pipe in the title:

1. unknown and unknown - Old Captain's Pipe
2. unknown - Barba Filin's Pipe

Man, if Karma ever dropped a song about a pipe, they'd easily break into the top 3... how are there only two? 🤔

But whatever, both of them are straight-up masterpieces.

1. George Michael - Careless Whisper
2. Roxette - The Look
3. Roxette - Listen to your heart
4. Maroon 5 - This love
5. Eurythmics - sweet dreams are made of this

Are you actually kidding me right now? Why are you acting so pressed about the Eurhythmics? Since when did they become some "uncool 80s" thing instead of just being a legendary pop band?...

9.Peter Gojkovic Cune-Malaguena 10.
10.Slavko Perovic-Me am a Good Mexican

Not bad. But you totally missed "carbine 30-30" and "Me, the Adventurer."
And just for the record, those Kovinoplastika tapes were hands down the worst on the market... honestly, even the Scotch ones felt better than that.
The absolute best were the ZKP RTL ones; I still play all their late seventies stuff...
Even the Iplasov ones weren't half bad.
But man, what about those PGP RTB bootlegs? You know, those unsold C-45 tapes that claimed they lasted "up to 45 minutes"?😁

I’m probably the only person on the planet who actually loves Piglet. I honestly don't get how anyone can hate anything even remotely related to onions 🙂

Piglet is great in a light stew, just with some potatoes, but once you toss in all that greasy meat and everything gets soaked in fat... it becomes totally gross and inedible.

Generally speaking, veggies are veggies and meat is meat. You can eat them together, sure, but besides a few exceptions, they should be cooked separately...
