Don't be surprised, driftingdriver, that the people complaining here aren't posting in your subforum. There's nothing smart left to say; everything has already been said. The truth has been known for a long time, though sometimes someone has to say it publicly (the defenders and such are those who aren't above it, and I'm not fond of profanity).
Still, this is a top-tier site, and despite everything, it remains the number one forum for Americans.

I just don't know how many times we should bother raising this issue. Today—even though it's Sunday—is the first day for the new moderator, and we all know how things go when someone is handed a PDF and told they're in charge.

I wouldn't get rid of this section of the forum; it’s honestly a breath of fresh air for the site.
I won't list everything I read, but getting banned here is actually quite difficult. When someone does get flagged, it's completely justified, which proves the moderation is top-tier. Personally, I couldn't care less about anyone claiming friendship with the mods or the rest of that crowd at the top.
In this thread, I spotted two people I'd actually shake hands with. They serve as perfect examples of how to present arguments and defend a position without resorting to insults or getting banned.

Before the war, there was this guy from Sarajevo who’d use three boxes to hide a small marble. He’d let the naive folks bet on which box it was under.
