It’s been an ongoing struggle for years now, and nothing seems to settle them down. They first flared up right as his teenage acne was clearing off his face, almost as if the inflammation just migrated downward. He’s thirty years old now, and the issue hasn't budged. Interestingly, his skin clears up significantly during the summer when we’re down in Florida; the constant sun exposure and swimming in the salt water seem to provide some relief. He’s quite diligent about hygiene, showering at least twice a day, yet none of our efforts have paid off. We’ve cycled through various acne cleansers and topical creams, but they haven't made a dent. At this point, it feels like something systemic—something originating deep within his body—which has me wondering what the underlying cause might be. I should also note that these lesions often look less like typical acne and more like inflamed cysts.
Yeah, same here. Only difference is I'm 18... and ever since puberty hit, I've been stuck with them. I have so many, and they all have this weird purple tint... they stretch from the top of my latissimus dorsi all the way down to my shoulder blades. It's the exact same thing where everything clears up once I get to the beach... the salt air, the sun... basically tanning... :/ I just don't get it.

It’s like full-on cramps hitting everything from my toes all the way up through my muscles. And the worst part? I can't even make it fifteen minutes before it starts happening. Why is this even a thing?🤷
I mean... I don't even know if it's that weird. I went from 210 pounds down to about 155. I'm only 18, but I've been hitting the gym pretty consistently for about 10 months now. As for the fat? That mostly burned off on my bike. I started cycling about a year and a half ago and, honestly, I’m hooked. Just endless long rides out through 93 miles and stuff like that. I fell in love with it... and the weight just kept melting away.
So, like the title says... over the last year, I’ve managed to drop from about 215 down to 155 lbs... and now I'm dealing with this loose skin situation, mostly around my stomach and glutes 😛
Are there actually specific exercises or anything else that can help tighten things up?
Is it actually bad to drink massive amounts of water throughout the day? For instance, I’m knocking back somewhere around 4 to 6 liters daily—so, let's call it 5 liters on average. Is that actually harmful? Or is it the exact opposite? btw I'm pretty active, so most of that hydration happens while I'm working out.

I don't know... right before bed? Not during the day. That was actually my plan—take this stuff to replace two meals, then eventually transition to doing 3 or 4 solid meals on my own throughout the day so I'm not struggling for nothing. Now I'm just stuck trying to figure out what to buy. Everything that's actually reasonably priced has to come from the UK, so I'm basically having to drive over to New Jersey just to pick it up.😁
Aha... I don't know. I'm in the same boat. I mean, I try to stick to what I can actually stomach, mostly just eating whatever comes my way in the morning... everything else is fine, doing those six meals a day thing... but honestly, I just can't bring myself to eat that much, especially in the evening. I'm not exactly a fan of low-fat cottage cheese 😳 so I was thinking about maybe swapping out two of those daily meals for some casein or something similar instead.
Honestly, just stick to magnesium... I had this buddy of mine who couldn't even finish his leg day at the gym because the cramps were just relentless. Now? He's constantly popping these massive magnesium supplements, and everything's back to normal. 😉

If anyone wants me to just give this thing away for free, let me know. I was digging through some old links and stumbled back onto this page for the Scitech Whey protein. Honestly, looking at it again, I can’t help but wonder if we all just collectively decided to move on without much of a discussion. It feels like one of those things where everyone knows what they think, but nobody actually sits down to hash it out. It’s funny how certain supplements become these staples in our routine, and then suddenly, the conversation just shifts. You look at the specs, you look at the price point—which, let's be real, matters more than we like to admit when we're staring at our bank accounts after a grocery run—and you realize how much the market has changed since this was the big thing. Anyway, I'm curious if anyone here still keeps a tub of this in their pantry, or if you've all migrated over to something else entirely. Is it still a reliable go-to, or is it just nostalgia talking? I've got my own opinions, obviously, but I'd love to hear if the consensus has shifted. Just a random thought while I'm scrolling through the old archives.
It’s almost full, and it’s wide open. My brother already knocked back a couple of servings and he’s done for the day. As for me? I’m sticking to my MVP Isologic. Flavor: vanilla. Look, if anyone actually wants to do this, just hit me up and send it over to my Venmo. $17 I'll just pop it in the mail to him. I mean, honestly? I’m not even worried about it failing. It feels like it's already been sentenced to total decay.
So, how much is actually left? Like, exactly how much did Mjerica take from you, man?

Honestly, the price is whatever you want, really $0.00—just please, take it off my hands. It's just taking up space and driving me crazy. Shoot me a message if you're interested. Otherwise, I'm right here in New York City (over in Queens).
silentpanther15 said:So, you're planning on fixing them up yourself? Got a vintage fixie just sitting around in your garage or something?
Look, I'm looking to buy something because I need it for commuting and training, but money isn't exactly flowing right now. So, I was thinking about either restoring an old frame or maybe just picking up a decent used road bike from someone on Craigslist.
By the way, if you order from Prosport, just tell them to ship it to your local post office over in Canada—it ends up being way cheaper, and as long as the total stays under $333, you don't have to worry about customs fees.
Mixing whey with milk shouldn't be an issue at all, since the milk has casein in it that'll just slow down how fast the whey gets absorbed.
Sounds solid. How long have you been running these?
