I decided to start this thread because I couldn't find one, and I feel like it's a conversation worth having.🙂 When we watch movies, we usually focus on the main actors or the "little people," meaning the child stars. I'm curious to know which of those young talents you actually consider gifted. Do you think any of them are destined to follow in the footsteps of legends like Jack Nicholson, Paul Newman, Al Pacino, De Niro, Anthony Hopkins, Meryl Streep, and others?

For example: Dakota Fanning, born in 1994 (which just goes to show how young she still is). I think she deserves a mention because she has managed to land an impressive number of roles for someone so young.
She appeared in films such as:
-Man on Fire
-The Cat in the Hat
-Uptown Girls
-Hansel & Gretel
-Sweet Home Alabama
-I Am Sam
And maybe some others too...

I suppose she might be our next big Hollywood favorite.😁

This is easily one of the better movies featuring Denzel Washington. I also think little Dakota Fanning looks like she has a bright future ahead of her in this industry; I’ve seen her in a few projects now, and I’d say she might be the next big thing in Hollywood.🙂👍

I found watching the film quite interesting, especially since things didn't exactly go according to plan. I guess that non-linear structure felt a bit similar to Irreversible, and they even share the same cast.

Sorry, that slipped out.🤷 I guess I was assuming I was talking to people who had already seen the film, and I forgot that some of you visit this page without having watched it. For those of you who haven't seen it, I would still suggest watching it despite what I wrote, because the film really is excellent. Sorry again for mentioning the ending, though I don't think I revealed everything; there is still quite a bit more to see.😉

I've watched it several times now. It’s really quite good and definitely left an impression on me. I'd recommend it.👍

Plot Summary: Two guys (played by Atkinson and Carrey) start a club for lonely men who just can't seem to find luck with women. Once the club is up and running, the members—all men, obviously—start strategizing on how to win over the ladies they're interested in, which brings these gorgeous women into the mix. One guy is trying to woo his neighbor, Monica, who spends a lot of her time watering her garden. Another wants to land Angelina, a drug addict he keeps bumping into on the street. A third targets Cate, because he sees her all the time at the local grocery store where she works as a cashier. Then there's the fourth guy, who's eyeing Charlize, a teacher struggling to handle her unruly students. Fifth, we have a man attempting to win over a desperate Meryl, who is constantly crying and complaining about her life; to make things more complicated, she's actually his boss, the principal, while he's a school teacher. And then, in a bit of a twist, the final member is intensely focused on winning over a guy named Rupert, who happens to be gay. So, they spend the whole time unsuccessfully trying various ways to seduce these wonderful, unattainable people, all while Atkinson and Carrey "help" them out (which really means they aren't helping at all).😂😁

Don Juan Marco, I haven't seen that movie in quite a while. I'd love it if they aired it again, or maybe even River Runs Through It.

I agree, he's a really talented actor.

...haha, he was actually great in the movie FOUR ROOMS, that role really suited him.

I thought Brad Pitt was great in True Romance playing Floyd, that stoner buddy. Otherwise, I guess Zal is a pretty terrible movie.😲
