Dog attack on a little girl in Law ·

Furthermore, there are reports circulating online suggesting that this Pit Bull was actually given away as a "gift" just ten days prior to this unpleasant incident. It seems the previous owner had no idea what to do with the animal and saw a convenient opportunity to pass the problem onto someone else—an act that should certainly classify them as a responsible party.
There is no shame in being ignorant regarding Pit Bulls, or dogs in general, or their behavior when they are confined to a meter and a half for their entire lives; however, it is both shameful and dangerous to fail to educate oneself after accepting a dog whose head is larger than yours and whose jaw possesses enough strength to crush bones like eggshells. As far as I am aware, there are provisions requiring all potentially dangerous breeds to undergo socialization testing, yet I would be willing to bet any amount of money that this particular dog hasn't even seen a rabies shot or dewormer, let alone passed a temperament test.
I occasionally indulge in fantasies of an orderly nation where owners are held legally accountable for keeping their dogs on a leash.
Similarly, I dream of a utopian society where a grandmother faces criminal charges for her stupidity and negligence toward her granddaughter.

Sure... maybe they just realized they couldn't handle him, or perhaps he wasn't even a threat before this happened.
But let’s not ignore the fact that these people were clearly greedy, waiting impatiently for a "purebred" dog with all the right paperwork to become their property.

Well, that isn't a society worth mentioning... what happened is just plain tragic.
My heart only goes out to the little girl... and the dog. And where exactly was this group supposed to go to get informed?

A dangerous Rotič? Honestly, it's nothing more than just another dog tied up in someone's backyard.

Who actually bears the responsibility when someone decides to jump from a skyscraper?
The architects and engineers should be hauled before the Court immediately; they failed to implement sufficient safeguards against potential suicides.

So, my coworkers and I were over at Quest Diagnostics getting blood work done, and honestly? I am never stepping foot in there again. As for their OB-GYN services, I can't say for sure, but regarding the lab work... let's just say out of the ten of us, eight people ended up with a bout of diarrhea that lasted nearly a week. They’re perfectly polite people, I'll give them that, but is being nice really worth risking your health? Definitely not. I won't be going back.

The first time this happened, I had just finished some popcorn. I honestly thought a kernel was just stuck somewhere in my throat 😂
Then, the second time, my doctor told me it was strep throat and prescribed antibiotics, which felt incredibly bizarre because I wasn't in any pain, nor did I have a fever... I was convinced food was just lingering 😂
I don't view this as a threat or anything dangerous; in fact, I haven't even noticed how frequently it actually occurs. Most of the time, I just deal with it using Jolly Ranchers... the standard kind... the ones with a bit of grit... and they do a great job of scraping everything away, all five 😍 two or three times down my throat... unchewed... 😁
I’m actually glad I stumbled upon this thread, because now I know it wasn't the popcorn after all 😂
Have you even considered just going to see a doctor?

He actually tried to drive the car; I barely managed to stop him. He remembers everything, too, including whatever his mechanic told him. What really cut deep, though, was when he called me by my mother's name, and he was fully aware he had done it. He even remarked on how strange it was to call me that, suggesting it’s probably because he’ll be joining her soon (she passed away from a heart attack back in '95). I just tell him, "As long as you're still here, there's hope." One day his throat is raw, the next it's fine, and then he’ll run a fever. I told him that once the sun goes down tomorrow, we're going for a walk, even if I have to practically lead him by the hand. I saw him today from the bus (I recognize him; he uses a feeding tube and that large syringe they use to feed him) and he was pouring beer through the tube. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that.
I asked Dad if he wanted a beer, and he said no, he'd let me know when he's in the mood, or maybe some wine. I'd fulfill any wish he had.

Oh, I know that feeling all too well... my mom was constantly trying to escape the hospital... I actually had to lie to her and say I had a flat tire or something just to get her home.
She started losing her memory due to the shock as well... for example, someone would come over to visit, she'd chat with them... then the guests would leave, and she'd turn to me and ask when they were coming and why they were running late.😢
It’s wonderful that your dad still has that fighting spirit. Honestly, I drove my mom everywhere, even when she fought me on it... I forced her, and I don't regret it for a second.

So, when are you actually going to start doing something productive?
Maybe pick up a sport or something?
Honestly... I’ve been spiraling lately too. The last time it hit me, I think I stood there helplessly while at least twenty people pushed right past me in line... and when I finally reached the front, they actually asked if I was okay, because apparently, I looked completely spaced out. They ended up making me sit down for ten minutes just to get my head straight... ugh. It’s this unsettling sensation, almost like someone is scraping against my very bones...🙂

Are you kidding me? Cellulite at seventeen?! Seriously? You need to find a hobby and actually get moving... pick up a sport or something... and please, for the love of God, stop falling for those ridiculous commercials peddling endless rows of miracle creams...
Well, thanks a lot🙂 I think this is one of the few times I've actually seen more than ten smiley faces in a single post
Actually, it’s probably even less than that. But I certainly never ran into any of these issues before.
I don't know... I can see all the images being shared within the posts themselves, but for some reason, I'm not seeing anyone's profile picture appearing under their username
Lately, I’ve been running into some real issues here... I can't seem to see all the emojis... I'm unable to reply to posts, and I can't even respond to private messages... unless I start an entirely new thread. To make matters worse, the icons at the bottom have completely vanished... and those little envelope icons in the main section aren't showing up either. Does anyone actually know what's going on? Could this be some kind of virus or something?

Jeffrey Walker3 said:I stopped by Getaldus recently, and honestly, I wasn't feeling it... everyone seemed kind of rude, though maybe I just had bad luck 🤷

I remember seeing an old thread where someone recommended a specialist named Zolta over at the clinic in downtown Chicago, so I'm thinking about checking them out... I'd love to find a spot where I can handle both my glasses and contacts in one go, if that's even possible

On the other hand, my experience at Klaićev was actually awesome! It’s been a year since I was last there, though, so who knows 😁

Hmm... which location did you go to? I usually head to the one near the main square... half the staff up there are so rude... and then there's that one arrogant nurse downstairs... she'll be chatting away on her cell phone while I'm standing right in front of her for ten minutes. But the doctor there is hands down the best I've ever seen... she used to wear contacts herself once... I was a complete paranoid when it came to putting things in my eyes... but she was so understanding and told me I could come in every single day to have her put them in until I got used to them... she explained everything perfectly... and her touch is incredibly gentle... I once had some white stuff in my eye and back at the Klaićev location, the woman there nearly ripped my eyelid off, but this doctor is truly wonderful...

Noah Gray4 said:The selection at Cleveland Clinic isn't even that great anymore, their lens options are pretty weak—they used to be way better a few years back...
but man, I was hunting for those hard lenses with the absolute highest oxygen permeability possible, and I swear on the Holy Spirit, I finally found them! 🤷

Well, look... during my first year, I was dealing with constant bouts of conjunctivitis. But let’s be clear—it wasn't because of the contact lenses themselves; it was simply that the solution I was using just didn't sit right with my eyes. As for the lenses, I wear the soft ones, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with them. For me, choosing soft lenses is definitely the way to go.😁

It’s funny, because I had the exact same experience back when I was just a kid attending the local elementary school... I wasn't exactly thrilled with the quality of care there. Fast forward to now, and I've been going to the Mayo Clinic for five years straight. Honestly, my doctor there is wonderful... she's this blonde woman, though I can't quite recall her name at the moment.

Facial allergy/rash on my chin??? in Health ·
I was already over at the pharmacy first thing this morning. They told me that as long as I’m not having trouble breathing or dealing with swelling, I probably don't need to see a doctor just yet... Now, you know me—I almost never touch pills unless things have reached an absolute breaking point—but this toothache was honestly pushing me to the edge. I ended up taking three Advil 300mg, two Klavocin, and two Aspirin... and absolutely nothing worked. So, I ended up grabbing some other medication starting with a 'K'... I can't even recall the exact name. About half an hour later, I started feeling this stinging sensation. The pharmacist gave me some Rinolan, once a day, just to get me through the worst of it. I finally got my tooth fixed, though... A huge thanks to lana10 and KLCCLK

Has anyone else actually dealt with this??? It feels like I’m starting to break out in a rash and everything is just incredibly itchy... Could this possibly be a reaction to Andy?
