Is blues music actually just forced optimism? Especially if you're looking for an exit strategy. :-)

Of course they’ll listen to something for a drink or whatever, but they’ll definitely swallow more if you give them actual music instead of those Zovnčić tracks...
As for all this misery and woe, sure, people love to sing about it. But I don't get why nobody ever sings about happiness, love, health, or wealth... just for some balance... or maybe because those lyrics are either pure trash like "screw you, screw your mother" or they're just incredibly banal—like "then I walk down the street, then I eat, then my day passes, then I brush my teeth"... it's ridiculous. Even the old folk songs used to mean something, but now they're just describing basic hygiene and daily routines... unbelievable.
Take a closer look at the lyrics from popular American singers... Lily Kim or whoever else... Britney is a classic example... It sounds great to us because we don't understand it, but once you translate the lyrics, there's zero substance; it's just mindless. It's no wonder Americans are seen as a brainless nation... and we're right on track to follow suit.

My partner's past

Honestly, using the word "fuck" solves most problems. Give it a shot. :-)

I get you. I’ve noticed my jealousy fluctuates based on one thing: the person I’m with. If my gut tells me something is off, I’m usually right. If there's no reason to doubt, I don't. It sounds pathological, but I’m just a normal person reacting to reality. For example, I once dated this guy who owned several high-end restaurants in Chicago. Every woman from age 20 to 80 was throwing themselves at him because of his bank account, but I was never jealous. I knew he was a grown man and wouldn't cheat. If he ever decided to walk, he'd tell me to my face. :))) Then I had this other guy, an old wreck who swore he loved me—blah, blah, blah—but I was insanely jealous of him. Turns out, he was a total player. :-)
My guy has a kid from a previous relationship. Occasionally, I feel some jealousy toward the mother, but it's rare. My solution is simple: Look, honey, if she were actually any good, they'd still be together. He's with you now, so stop stressing about it. 🙂

why don't you try spreading a little positivity for once? maybe write something about what actually makes you happy, or what motivates you, or what's actually going right in your life
Fine, here's some positivity just for you: "Go screw yourself!" 😁😁
There. That really brightened my day. 👍👍
Here’s another one: "When you're feeling good, clap your hands!"
It's obvious there's plenty of it!!!!

Oh, they definitely exist! I just put on that little indie band from Brooklyn.
There’s one track where she sings about love and happiness. Yes, actual happiness!
Mind you, there is one song about a lost bunny, but I think I'll skip that one.

I’m listening to some old-school folk music CDs. Every single lyric is pure misery—it’s all about broken stones, dying mothers, or lonely seagulls. There isn't a soul alive who wouldn't spiral into a depression listening to this stuff!
What’s your take on these kinds of lyrics?
And it’s not just the folk singers. Look at all the trashy country songs playing in every dive bar from here to Nashville—they're all the same: she left, I'm alone, life is pain, she cheated... It's predictable. Of course the drunks at the bar keep ordering rounds; it just fuels the cycle and keeps the bartender in business.
It’s no wonder people are depressed!
How much do these songs actually impact the mood and mental health of the country?
I’m genuinely curious what you think...

Why do people need a scapegoat?

I believe people are fundamentally good. It’s just life circumstances that turn them sour—into criminals, sex workers, or greedy opportunists. Life essentially breaks them down along the way.
I’m a firm believer that you get back what you put out into the world. I've been screwed over plenty of times, but I've also had my fair share of luck. In the end, it all balances out.
Personally, I don't think everyone is evil. I think they're just stupid, hahaha.

That’s nonsense, and frankly, your attitude just shows how much you distrust people.
I don't hate anyone. I just think they're too dim-witted to be worth hating.

Honestly, I used to think certain traumas would break me for good. To be fair, I still feel that weight sometimes. But my drive is just too damn strong to let anyone permanently screw me over. Even though I spend half my time trashing men, deep down, I’m still open and willing to take the leap—it just might not look like it on the surface.
People survive concentration camps; they can handle this. Ladies, don't let them get to you—who cares about them? If they actually had any value, they wouldn't be exes. Thank Bog you got rid of them and finally have a shot at finding someone better! :-)

Try some St. John's Wort oil—specifically the Kantarionov brand—for about ten days. It should definitely help. You can find it at any local CVS, though quality varies wildly. I personally pick mine up from Kemig over on Main Street in Chicago. D

The guy at 20 Gundulić Street actually turned out to be perfectly fine; please disregard my previous comments. He does solid work, even if he isn't exactly the most charming person—he tends to overlook details when he's rushing. But fundamentally, once he starts on a tooth, his work is excellent. Plus, he avoids extractions unless absolutely necessary, which is incredibly rare to find! He’s always slammed, but I recommend him!

Sarah Patel said:I’m not here to critique my colleague's work, but let’s be real: Medicare only covers about 20% of dental services! That means dentists—who are basically medical doctors now—are forced to provide exactly what Medicare approves (which usually means outdated materials and old-school methods), and absolutely nothing more. This is a warning for your future. Last year, Medicare slashed physician headcounts by about 30%, and they told them they could start charging for certain services to make up for it (that’s why they were complaining; the government cut their income by 30%). They left dentistry and pediatrics alone then, but next year, they’re coming for the dentists! It’s a certainty that the "dental basket" will shrink even further. Apparently, the budget cuts are going to be massive.
Anyway, if your tooth still hurts, come back to this thread. 😉
I have no idea how your comment relates to what I actually said—which was that he messed up TWICE and it took me three days just to convince him to even look at his mistake and fix it!
Are you him?

I noticed someone keeps recommending Dubravka on Jefferson! I’m convinced he’s just running his own shady advertisement here!
I’ve been his patient for years, and I can guarantee this guy is irresponsible. He only cares about the bill, not the patient, even though he takes Medicare.
He’s already messed up several of my teeth. The reason I’m staring at the ceiling at 3:30 AM is because I saw him yesterday to fix a cavity, and he botched it again—the pain is absolutely unbearable!
It happened once before. He left me suffering for three days, claiming it was just "nerve pain," until my face turned purple and swollen. My tooth was practically falling out, and I was pale as a ghost. HE WAS TOO LAZY TO ACTUALLY OPEN THE TOOTH AND SEE WHERE HE SCREWED UP!!!
And IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN TONIGHT!
Plus, he refuses to clean tartar, even though it’s legally REQUIRED. He ground down my wisdom tooth just so he could charge me for a crown. Who even puts a crown on a wisdom tooth???
LONG STORY SHORT: DO NOT GO TO DUBRAVKA ON JEFFERSON under any circumstances, or you'll be wide awake all night like me. I’ve gone through an entire box of painkillers tonight! Literally every hour because this is unlivable!!!

Using hormone therapy for cosmetic purposes

Hormones can make your life a complete nightmare; unfortunately, I’m living proof. If everything else is functioning normally, I wouldn't change a thing. Things can spiral out of control incredibly fast, and once you cross that line, there's no turning back. I messed up by taking those Red Bull weight loss pills, and now my system hasn't stabilized in months.
DO NOT TAKE THEM, even if they guarantee you'll end up looking like Apple.🙂

Do they even take patients at all? When I went in there a few years ago, they basically told me, "We're an old clinic, it's a total nightmare here, can you go somewhere else?" :-)
For a single hospital stay, they can bill you up to $1.00, even if the total cost was way higher—which is likely what happened with Jeffrey Parker25!
The second round? Another 3,000 or so per visit. 🙂

I wear tiny socks in the winter. It’s my little dirty secret. :-) My feet just get freezing. I don't do it in the summer, though.🙂
