My plan is to grab a two-day pass—it’s cheaper, I suppose—but I'm still weighing whether that extra commitment is actually worth the effort. $100 How much are resellers actually asking for? My plan is to head there on day one—grab a ticket, then flip it immediately for a profit. $50 To anyone thinking about heading out for day two—or, better yet, if you’ve already grabbed a two-day pass but realized you have zero interest in the first night—feel free to offload that single ticket to me. I'm willing to pay half price, and I'll get the cash back to you immediately. 🙂 If anyone's interested—feel free to shoot me a DM.
That’s just not how it works—you get this wristband that you have to wear for the entire duration of Coachella, and you aren't allowed to take it off until everything wraps up. You can't exactly just slip it off whenever you feel like it.

When I show up on day one with my ticket—assuming they don't make me wait in some endless line—do they just scan it and hand over the wristband? And am I stuck wearing that thing until the second day? 😁 How does it work again? Is they going to make me scan my ticket all over again tomorrow?
You just tear off that stub on your ticket, grab your wristband, and you’re set—simple enough. On the second day, they basically just glance at your wrist to make sure the band hasn't been tampered with, and that's about it.
I just noticed a pretty massive lump—about an inch or so—along with a smaller one around half an inch. They look like mosquito bites, but I’m wondering if they can actually get that big? It’s a bit unsettling—they popped up out of nowhere and I don't recall being bitten by anything lately.

It occurred to me immediately too—that Mastodon isn't exactly thrilled about this. Who knows... anyway, we'll keep going; it should be a good time regardless.🙂
True story. Day one is a total washout. I'll probably just catch Arcade Fire, maybe Elvis Jackson or some local punk band if I'm feeling it. Thanks, T-Mobile—this lineup is a real joke.

They’re still touring the States through the 17th—they don't even hit Europe until the 30th. It probably makes zero sense for them to bother adding the 21st or 22nd to the schedule.
Justin Wells3 asked when the lineup dropped last year. Honestly, I have no clue—but this year might be a late bloomer; from what I can gather, they aren't even voting on the final festival act until June 17th. Top-tier organization, clearly. 🙂
I was looking into it the other day—Alice in Chains dropped on May 24th, if my memory serves—but that was essentially Day Zero. As for the ones before that, I haven't a clue. I could probably check Facebook, but honestly, I just can't be bothered. 😁
Maybe Arthur Garcia59 thought AF had actually overtaken them in popularity. SOAD and RATM only stayed relevant because they were away for so long—now everyone’s starving for a reunion—whereas Arcade Fire is likely one of the most sought-after bands on the planet right now.
Day zero... The city council committee for culture just gave a unanimous thumbs up to letting the municipal holding company waive the land fees for the festival site. If the holding actually listens to the council—since they're essentially owned by the city—we might actually see "day zero" happen. We'll see.
And we should have an answer by Monday. Let's just wait and see...
