Who knows how the organizers will actually structure the schedule—personally, I think Cypress Hill sounds much more impactful than Grinderman, so I’d expect them to hit the stage around 11 PM. As for the forest stage, Mastodon seems to be the biggest draw based on the current lineup, at least for now.

Cypress Hill will likely play their final set on the T-Mobile Main stage, while Mastodon stays in the woods. There shouldn't be any overlap—my goal is to see both Grinderman and Mastodon anyway.
There was some speculation earlier about when The Streets would be playing, but it's finally settled—they're on for day two, according to the organizer's Facebook post. If anyone happens to have the scoop on when Goribor is hitting the stage, let me know; I'd love to actually nail down the lineup as it stands right now.

What a mess. For the first time ever, they've scheduled two bands to drop on the exact same day—and what a pair they are 😁
Well, they certainly are
Morgan Palmer2 said:Twitter rumors suggest Coachella might bring out The Killers and Smash Hits—similar to how they handled Brooklyn last time.
The guy from Smash Hits is actually the one from Queens.

So those are the big-name acts everyone’s hyping up then... 😁
I respect what Larry Morales12 said—he hit the nail on the head—but I’m also right there with Morgan Palmer2 regarding their shady attitude toward customers.

Look, please—just stop drawing comparisons between the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Terraneo. It’s pointless...

Both festivals have their own identity; they are distinct enough in both concept and lineup to cater to different tastes and interests...

I assume nobody actually means "completely destroyed" when talking about these two festivals—though even if you do, it sounds terrible and isn't how any of us would put it—quite the opposite, actually...

I don't know where all this negativity toward Inmusic comes from, considering you get to see a string of incredible bands for relatively little money—bands for which you'd easily pay at least $45 for a standalone show anywhere else in the States... if you're into Arcade Fire or Grinderman but can't stand Jamiroquai or Cypress Hill, just skip the latter... I honestly don't see the issue. 🤷

Look, I didn't mean they were literally being destroyed—as in going bankrupt—but they definitely need to pull themselves together. It's true we can see some great acts for cheap, but it's frustrating that they won't take any risks; if they had to bump ticket prices up to $50 or $33, it might be worth it just to land System of a Down, FF, or other major headliners
I honestly think they’re sabotaging their own lineup just to alienate the crowd. Maybe if they tank the attendance, they’ll finally be forced to book actual headliners. Don't try telling me they're broke—we all know how shady these promoters can be 🙂
. Sure, they might not have the budget for AC/DC or Metallica, but failing to take a gamble on bands like System of a Down or Fightstar? That’s just bad business, in my opinion.

Goribor.

It’s just pure incompetence—organizers clearly have no clue how to book a massive headliner, so they settle for local acts instead. Honestly, I hope Live Nation pulls the plug next year, or maybe even this one.
Superhiks

I honestly can't believe if they think this is how you run things—instead of actually announcing the lineup for the festival, they’re just booking them for a standalone show. They've got Skunk Anansie lined up. It's just pure amateur hour at this point.

Glastonbury Festival featuring
Coldplay, U2, Beyoncé, Kaiser Chiefs, Queens of the Stone Age, The Chemical Brothers, Jimmy Eat World...

That’s what they’re saying about Skinner. http://www.last.fm/music/The+Streets/+events

It doesn't necessarily mean he's playing on day one of Coachella—maybe they'll perform on the second day since Glastonbury doesn't wrap up until the 26th. We probably won't know his slot until the organizers actually bother to announce it—they haven't updated their site or MySpace in ages.
May 5th—Terraneo drops their new lineup. Honestly, it’s ridiculous; they’ll probably have more confirmed acts by then than those clowns over at Verizon ever managed. It's truly staggering how disorganized they are—and how much they enjoy messing with people's heads.
silentdriver12 said:so the Arctic Monkeys just announced two shows in Germany—June 20th and 22nd, what a shocker.
bravo, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
screw them.

I noticed that too—it’s pretty obvious they aren't bringing in any more big names. Unless they add a "day zero" featuring one major headliner and some local acts, I'm out. They can take it easy.
Overflow is coming. I think I mentioned once upon a time—long ago, actually—that they might show up since they just dropped a new album, though I wouldn't be surprised if Hothouse Flowers made an appearance too, given they haven't actually played the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival yet, if I recall correctly.
