That’s just pure nonsense—straight-up spam. Look, if you’re bored enough to mess around with something like Steam, go for it... but the second they start asking you to cough up some cash upfront just so they can "process" your funds or whatever excuse they cook up? That’s when you know it’s a scam.
Is it actually possible to have complications during ligament healing? I dealt with the worst kind—a grade 3 ankle injury, basically a total ligament rupture.
It’s been nearly three months now, and there's still some swelling and a lingering ache. When I just sit there and shake my foot loosely, I get this unsettling sensation... as if the joint isn't quite seated right, like it’s just too flimsy? And every single time I stand up to take a step, I feel this internal "pop" or skip. Plus, every few hours when I move it around, it cracks—sort of like that sound you make when you crack your knuckles. Oh, and I still can't fully squat.
Taking the long sleeve off too early? in Health ·
I hope this is the right place to ask. About four days ago, I went and twisted my ankle—and naturally, it swelled up like a damn watermelon. They put me in one of those walking boots to keep everything stable. Well, I decided to trim the edges of the boot today because it was squeezing me far too tight, and what do I find? My entire foot is just... massive. Completely swollen. Is that actually normal? What am I looking at here—is it blood, or that lymphatic fluid, or whatever that healing liquid is called? To make matters worse, I haven't really been keeping my leg elevated like the doctors told me to. What kind of trouble am I inviting by not keeping it propped up?

Could you perhaps be a bit more direct and just give me the gist of what actually matters here?

Not really... more like freeride mountain biking 😉
Does anyone actually know anything about this?

I suppose I should revisit this topic. What does it actually take to have sperm cryopreserved? Specifically, I’m wondering if there’s some sort of medical prerequisite—do you have to be suffering from a specific condition just to qualify? And beyond the Mayo Clinic we discussed earlier, are there other facilities available? Does one have to shell out a significant amount of money for this? Furthermore, how long can they realistically keep it on ice, and are these storage methods truly reliable in the long run? Personally, I’m looking into this because my athletic pursuits involve a rather high risk of... well, losing my testicles—and I have a very strong desire—nay, an absolute necessity—to have children someday eventually.😉
Jamie Rivera70 said:The days are longer now—we should make the most of it. What’s the issue with that?

Noah Anderson, please, let’s be realistic here—the day isn't actually "longer." A day is always going to be roughly 14 hours of usable light, regardless of what some clock might tell you... that's just the reality of it. But Noah also needs to realize that if we didn't shift the clock—if we just "threw away" an hour—we'd lose that time between 5 and 6 AM when nobody is doing anything anyway. However, when we *do* move the clock, we aren't creating time out of thin air; we're simply taking that hour from the early morning when it's useless and adding it to the evening when people are actually out and about... honestly, I feel like I'm repeating myself at this point. If you haven't grasped the concept yet, well, I suppose there's no helping you, is there?
The clock shifts primarily to conserve energy—essentially, to push as many daily activities as possible into the daylight hours.
It’s a bit of a puzzle, really. People tend to sleep in during the morning, so they might feel like they're just "throwing away" an hour—say, from 5 to 6 AM—but when the time shifts, you aren't losing that hour to the darkness. Instead, you gain an extra hour of light in the evening, perhaps from 7 to 8 PM... I haven't quite articulated this perfectly, but I assume the logic holds up, doesn't it? 😉
Here, take a look and see for yourself http://www.webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/b.html. They list a whole array of benefits there: energy conservation, the fact that people generally prefer having more daylight in the evenings, lower crime rates, fewer traffic accidents...
What are you reading on the toilet? in Miscellaneous ·
That’s the truth, haha... if you don't have a newspaper within arm's reach, I suppose toothpaste or shampoo serves just as well for getting the job done 👍

Anyway, I’ve been dealing with long sessions myself—we're talking 25 minutes at a stretch—where things just sort of... happen in multiple stages ☕

So, word is someone actually snagged a $13 million jackpot... which begs the question—how are we even supposed to verify if that kind of money actually went to a winner? Or is this just another scenario where they pocket the winnings themselves while keeping the identity of the lucky soul under wraps? Is the whole thing just a carefully guarded secret kept by the house?
What are your favorite physical sensations? in Miscellaneous ·
me:
1. reaching total perfection, obviously
2. when my girlfriend licks my ear—it’s just too good, the sound, the texture, ahhh🙏
3. while I’m taking a dump and everything is finally moving along
4. that deep stretch you get after a long, solid sleep
5. once I’ve stuffed myself like a glutton

😁

so, we are talking about raw, physical sensations here—don't come at me with all that "happiness" and "love" nonsense... just pure sensation...
For the hand or the pocket😬 ?? For the pocket—maybe even enough for a trip down to Jakusevec for some $10

I’ve heard similar whispers floating around—rumors, if you want to call them that—but I am still in the process of verifying whether there is any actual substance to it. I suppose we should turn to the professionals here... barbers, stylists, whoever knows the trade inside out... surely you all have some insight into this, don't you?

So, I picked up one of those portable hair straighteners yesterday—you know, the kind you can just toss in a bag and take everywhere—because the sheer annoyance of my hair frizzing up mid-day is becoming a genuine grievance. Since I spend about three or four hours a day out on my bike, I can't help but wonder... could using this thing so frequently actually do some damage? Is there a real risk of it causing thinning or making my hair start falling out altogether?
