I was digging through the link where those gluten-free folks hang out (by the way, has anyone actually tried it??) and I stumbled upon this
brown rice with seeds I haven't given it a shot yet, but honestly, it sounds pretty tasty

Also, I’m curious about lentils, millet, and chickpeas—what’s the deal with them? Does the flavor remind you of anything specific? Could I swap them out for rice—like, maybe using them in a mushroom sauce instead of rice or pasta? Is that even a thing?
Quick question:
If I’m sending out a small padded envelope as a recommendation, is there any way to mark it as "fragile" so people know there's something breakable inside? And if so, how much extra would that cost me—or does that option only apply to larger packages?

Hey 😁, quick question for you—why start in the pan and then move everything to the oven? Why not just throw it straight in the oven from the jump, or maybe just finish the whole thing in the pan instead? Also, I wasn't sure if you skip the oil in the pan or if you actually use some... if you do use oil, I guess that answers my own questions!

Either don't go crazy ripping up the other leg—just fray the bottom of some distressed jeans underneath, then throw an unbuttoned layer over the top to keep it looking loose and effortless.
Or just take them to a tailor to have them do it for you. 🙂--
A long time ago, I had a favorite pair of jeans that ripped right at the seat and the knee. My tailor actually tucked some patterned red fabric inside both spots, and even added a little patch to one pocket so it looked intentional. Honestly, they looked awesome back then—though these days, I’d probably just stick to buying standard distressed denim (I actually saw some similar styles at H&M the other day).

Basically, the number refers to the width—and "reg" just means they're regular length, at least if you ask me.
There’s a size guide there that actually shows you exactly which part you need to measure, too.
But honestly, I just took a look at the size guide and now I'm more confused than before regarding the jeans—specifically the pants.
Maybe try asking some of the girls over on the ASOS thread? Someone else has probably ordered pants from them already.🙂

I feel like talking about numbers today is just too much effort—I’m a size 25 for one brand and a 29 for another 🙄
but seriously, why doesn't ASOS have a size guide using centimeters?

I've heard people talk about carrot soup (along with a few other things), but I haven't actually given it a shot yet—I'll have to hunt down a recipe once I decide to whip something up.
My mom makes this amazing sauce where she adds meat in there too—not huge chunks, but sort of bite-sized pieces, you know? Not like giant steaks, just small enough to be manageable. The way she does it is by simmering a bunch of different veggies together, including carrots, and then just blending everything right into the sauce. It turns out great—a nice little change of pace from your standard tomato-based sauces.
I was thinking maybe a carrot version could even work as a pasta sauce or something similar.🤔

That carrot sauce looks amazing—what else would you pair it with? I’m trying to think of some good sides to go along with it.
And regarding the oats, what kind of immersion blender works best? I was thinking about using my stick blender instead of digging my old Vitamix out of the pantry, 😵

Mine are clockhouses—and honestly, we’re just gonna watch them stretch out over time...

Those pancakes look incredible 👍
Do you actually use a blender for this, or would a standard hand mixer work? I don't have a blender on hand right now 🤔

So, I finally picked up some jeans from C&A. Honestly, I must have tried on at least ten different styles—and there were probably another ten just sitting there waiting for me. 🙂 One pair was absolutely perfect, but they didn't have my size in stock, which was such a bummer. In the end, I went with these ones; they feel good so far, though we'll see how they hold up after a few washes and if they stretch out. My biggest gripe, though, is their sizing consistency—it's all over the place. I need a 2 or 4 in one style and then a 6 or 8 in another, even though they're both C&A.
Anyway, does the C&A in a big city like Chicago really have this much variety, or am I just tripping?

Hey, quick question—does anyone know if Duncan is actually in CC1 or WG? I’ve been looking around CC1 and haven't spotted him yet.
I haven't even given my handbag a thorough inspection yet—but now that you've mentioned those jeans, I'm definitely going to go take a look. 🙂 Are the models actually modern though? Like, do they have skinny types and everything else too?

Thanks, Alexxis—I'll definitely check it out next time. I always just kind of skim through these things because they all seem so incredibly serious to me 🙈
Do you happen to have a website? I tried looking for one, but all I could find was some Australian site that's currently under construction... I just wanted to get a better look at the models

So, where’s that review hiding? I'm dying to know—are they actually flexible, or are we talking stiff as a board?

So, here’s my update again... today was supposed to be one of those days where things actually happen, but nothing really came of it. I got a tiny bit of spotting—literally just a little smudge on my underwear once—then I changed and that was it. No crazy feelings or anything unusual to report. 🙂
If you’re looking for a way to push things back, this is my approach: I’m delaying right now because of my cycle, but I’d much rather just get it over with a month early. That way, it shifts my schedule for the month I actually need it, and I can just deal with all the potential symptoms right now instead of waiting. 🙂

So, I’m basically looking at a seven-day wait—it’s perfectly timed to be a total mess. I won't get my last shipment until Thursday, then the first one arrives Friday, and everything else lands on Monday.
🙂I’ll eventually get all my supplies, though. It’s just been a bit weird lately—kind of like my stool looks a little greasy, almost like how it looks on toilet paper after a bad run. Hopefully, it doesn't turn into a full-blown blowout.

So, I’m on my last pill
It was actually supposed to be my very last one in this pack, but I decided to push things back by about seven days—basically until my next scheduled date—just so I can delay everything while I'm traveling.
I've honestly never done this before (I only ever shortened a break once), so I'm wondering if I should expect some spotting or something similar given how short the gap is? Usually, I end up getting my period on a Sunday or Monday right after my last pill is finished.
Everything feels a bit weird today, almost like I'm about to start.🤷
If the post office loses a shipment, we’re basically losing money no matter how we decide to send it—which is really what 👎
comes down to. If I go the certified mail route and they lose it, I just get back a certain multiple of what I paid for postage. Let's be real—it's peanuts. It won't even come close to covering the cost of the item I lost, let alone enough to refund the person who bought it from me.
Now, if I send it as a standard package, things are slightly better because I can claim the declared value of the contents. But even then, it usually isn't enough to make both the seller and the buyer whole—unless I declare double the actual value, but then my shipping costs skyrocket too.
At the end of the day, it's not even about making sure the buyer and seller aren't out of pocket; it's just that I don't see the point of the "certified" option. I pay a premium for it, but if it goes missing, I get back next to nothing. 🤷
I actually had a certified letter go missing once, and I ended up getting maybe $5 or $6 back.
Am I totally off base here for thinking that just sending it as a regular package is actually the smarter move?
You can find those little pocket packs in all sorts of sizes at the subway stations
I'm not exactly sure what the price tag is—but they definitely seem cheaper than grabbing them at the Post Office
Can someone walk me through HP's website?
I went over there to check out some specs, but I’m totally lost on those weight measurements—are we talking grams or what? 😵
