Guitar Corner in Feedback & Suggestions · Nov 13, 2021

Honestly, you can just scroll right through the PDF itself. There are tons of them, and most of them are just stacked one after another, Ashley Vaughn79. 🙂 Why even bother with a search engine when the PDF is laid out like that? 😁

But yeah, the Music Creation file is a PDF we haven't really touched much yet, so it would be awesome if someone could jump in and take a look at it...

North Star... some progressive metal melancholy, just perfect for these chilly autumn days... 🙂

Ramin Djawad - Westworld OST (Season 1) (2016)

Franz is starving in Music · Nov 5, 2021

Look, I haven't really dived deep into his stuff yet. I know he leans toward those simple love ballads, but hearing him live for the first time today? Man, I actually loved his storytelling style. It’s super self-deprecating, but still feels so warm... You should definitely suggest a track or two.

Fass, are you a fan of Zoran Predin?

Dennis Hall41 said:I don't really mind, honestly... it doesn't bother me. It just feels like we've lost the plot a little bit. We should probably pivot to a different kind of social game—maybe voting on the best tracks or picking the greatest album from a specific band instead.

Anyway, stepping away from the album talk for a second—we’re slowing things down a touch while we cook up something totally new and wild. Things are really picking up here on the boards, and seeing some fresh faces join the mix is honestly the best part...

Five days might actually be a bit too long for the poll, since I can see some of you have already made up your minds. Let's knock it back down to three days.

Album of the week in Music · Nov 5, 2021

Let whoever be annoyed by it, this poll has been going on for three whole days 🧐

quietbison86 said:I haven't even gotten to Disintegration yet! I know, I'm terrible, but this week has just been such a total whirlwind... it'll definitely be in there by the next Album of the Week selection for sure 🕺

Come on, let's get moving! Even though we're setting the poll to run for five days, just like we promised.

Gerald Jackson48 said:Well, the vibe of other albums can influence things, and since we have some new faces voting, that changes the dynamic too. But still...

Oh, totally. Everything was anonymous last round anyway, so it doesn't really matter. It basically just comes down to which album or artist gets the most clicks. But hey, no hard rules here!

Album of the week in Music · Nov 4, 2021

If an album doesn't click for you when I love it, maybe it’s just not your vibe... or maybe it's just not what 😁 was going for!

Dennis Hall41 said:I think you got things mixed up! I'm pretty sure I'm right when I say it wasn't an andrologist who suggested those elephant musicians—it was actually the other way around regarding Miles Davis...

You think I wasn't paying attention? 🙂 Believe whatever they tell you!

Man, I am seriously stoked for this debate over the 🎉
album...

northerndrifter42 said:Look, we could totally shake things up. Why not hold a preliminary vote before the actual voting? Like, first, everyone just drops their unlimited album suggestions on Thursday within a 24-hour window... then, we vote! The top five albums with the most votes move on to the final "Album of the Week" showdown. Problem solved! You get to check out those five picks over the next 24 hours, and honestly, if you already know some of them, it’s even less work to listen...

Nah, a poll just for the sake of polling... 😁

But hey, since this whole thread is all about being democratic, maybe we could slow things down a bit? Since there's so much interest lately, we could stretch the voting period to five days. But let's start that from the next round...

That way, we'd generally be moving at a slower pace and just doing the poll twice a month, which actually sounds like a pretty solid idea...

Alright, here we go! Just two whole days left to get those tunes in 👍
...

Album of the week in Music · Oct 29, 2021

Kvart who? Anyone catch that? 🙄

Dennis Hall41 said:It’s definitely not him—you can spot his style instantly. But as for me, besides just knowing the taste, the fonts, and the vibe, I actually recognize which colleagues tend to drop their suggestions at certain times of the day! Lisa Davis46, Barib, and Jessica Morris6 are my regulars, and I’m pretty positive I nailed Puky's suggestion too.

Man, this is such a blast. Honestly, a pretty solid group regardless... 👍
