@quietbison86, but hey, that’s kind of the whole point... sometimes you just mess up! 🙂 Honestly, guessing and speculating about who suggested what is totally fair game here 😉

Yesterday, actually last week 😁 And hey, redbear12, if you drop your name here, you aren't anonymous anymore! That totally ruins the whole point of an anonymous poll or just having people toss out suggestions without being tied to them...

It looks like more folks are jumping back into the conversation and things are really picking up steam! It’s definitely not perfect, but we’re ironing out the kinks as we go. Plus, after that big summer break, the thread was pretty much dead anyway...

I hear the criticism loud and clear. Regarding how the album threads get started, you’ve got a point—it would probably be easier to just drop a few quick notes and a link first, then fill in the details later to give everyone room to chat. But hey, that part isn't really up to me...

As for the poll, it stays open for two days. That should give anyone who actually listens to the albums before voting enough time to wrap their heads around them... if they're that kind of listener, anyway.

At the end of the day, this is the "main hub" where everything else branches out, so I don't see any reason to slow down—especially since there's such a great crowd interested in checking out new releases.

Maybe we’re just dealing with a bit too much democracy and nitpicking over the rules? Just bear with us... it takes us a minute to get organized, too. We’re constantly getting hit with new ideas every week while trying to fix our own mistakes and figure out the best way forward. We'd love to make everyone happy, but let's face it... you can't please everybody.

All that being said, here's a little exclusive for you: we're about to launch something new! It'll have a slightly different vibe than the usual album threads, but the core concept stays the same. Stay tuned...

Gerald Jackson48 said:Look, that clone isn't mine. But honestly, for a profile that’s barely even active on this forum, they sure know their stuff when it comes to posting... how the weekly thread works, why it exists, voting, uploading photos, all that good stuff. Most people don't even catch on to all that after being around for a while! But hey, that's not my call to make—we've got the mods to handle the oversight. 🙂

I promise you, there are zero clones here. Enough about that!

Anyway: send your album suggestions for this round to me via PM (not swearing, just talking about private messages!). This round is totally anonymous, so I won't reveal who suggested what or who the authors are until after the voting is done.

quietbison86 said:We really shouldn't be doing this again...

Nope, we're just double-checking everything.

Btw, we're thinking about running another anonymous poll this week! That means you can send your suggestions straight to the mods—this time, just shoot them over to me and I'll post them here... hope that works!

Dennis Hall41 said:Honestly, this feels like one of my slower weeks so far—at least at first glance—but hey, try listening to fifteen whole albums in just three days!

Please. Your "big" week is when you stumble upon three indie folk guys that maybe five people have actually heard...
