I actually sat down the other day and watched The Queen's Gambit—you know, that flick about Bobby Fischer. Definitely recommend it if you've got some time to kill.

Everyone's talking about The Queen's Gambit—that show about Fischer—but I don't know how anyone finds the time to keep up. I’m still over here just trying to wrap up The Crown. ☕

I'm not really a huge fan of The Crown, though—I might maybe check out this latest season, if I even get around to it, and honestly probably only before I watch Joker

Honestly, the first season was my favorite—Churchill was absolutely phenomenal. And then you had Elizabeth and Philip too.

Oh boy, look at us go—getting all deep into a debate! For a split second there, I actually felt this sudden, intense urge to sit down and really dive into learning how to play chess properly—but thankfully, that feeling passed just as quickly as it arrived. It’s funny how that works, right? It’s one of those things that seems super fascinating for a moment when you're binge-watching a show or a movie, and then... poof, interest gone.

Just wanted to let you know I’ve officially stepped away from the 27 Club. Even if I were to pass away, it wouldn't be cool anymore. 🐔

I understand how chess works, but I simply lack the patience or the desire to dwell on the game that much.🙂 As for The Queen's Gambit, I can't bring myself to watch it; the lead actress is just too unattractive for my taste.

Well, I guess it all comes back to that old saying about beauty being in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I think Anna is pretty gorgeous—mostly because of those big, dark eyes of hers—and also because she isn't what I'd call a "cookie-cutter" kind of beautiful. She might not be the first thing you notice at a glance, but the more I look at her, the more stunning she becomes.
