Hey everyone!

Browns

My Browns cousin (third generation) brought me and the kids some Browns and Indians hats a few years back. He started watching the NFL on ESPN recently, and I figured, why not root for the franchise we have right here in the family? Especially after reading they went 1-31 over the last two seasons...πŸ™‚...they’re basically legends at this point.

analograven31, did you make it out to the New York City Advent last year? 😁

Congratulations on the win. You earned it.

Rooting for some other team? That's a non-starter. Period. We aren't going to just "go with the flow," as Justin Timberlake might put it... everything has its place.

I have specific teams I favor in every NFC division; it makes following the league much more engaging. πŸ™‚ I root for the Saints most of all, and whenever we face them once every four years, everyone knows exactly who I'm pulling for.

I didn't really get what the connection was supposed to be, but I did make it out to Advent, of course.

The Browns are killing it!

It was quite something. Last year during Advent, I approached a man wearing a Cleveland Browns hat and asked if he was a fan. He told me something very similar to what you just saidβ€”that someone had simply brought him the hat from the USA. 😁

I thought I was the only one, but hey, I guess I was wrong. At least now I know I’m not the only Cleveland Browns fan in the StatesπŸŽ‰

You didn't have to, honestly. Even without the poll, it was pretty obvious to me that New England Patriots fans were running this forum. But the real question is... is it actually like this across the whole region?

I'm actually kind of surprised by how few Denver Broncos fans showed up. Between Jonathan Wood5, Mariposas, and that other guy, I figured we'd see a few more than this...

For me, the Broncos are right on the heels of the Packers...😬

Look, it's pretty simpleβ€”you just need someone to root for during your own team's bye week... 😁

Look, it’s pretty simple if you think about it like picking one team per conference, kind of like the Broncos vs Packers matchup. Since they can't actually meet until the Super Bowl, the team you're pulling for in that big game is really your number one, which in this case would be the Broncos.

I went with the Packers.

Man, I think about 20 years ago I picked up some game on a consoleβ€”maybe an N64. There was this guy in green on the cover. Can't even remember if it was Favre or who, but probably him. In the game, based on the ratings, the Packers were a powerhouse, so I just rolled with them.

Back then, I wasn't actually following the NFL at all; I just pretended to by checking scores on the DSF teletext. Once broadband hit, I started following the Super Bowl, then moved to the playoffs, and before I knew it, I was hooked. Now I've been obsessed with fantasy for five years.

It might sound totally bandwagon, but I just love watching high-level football, so I end up "rooting" for whoever is playing well. It’s less about being a die-hard fan and more about the interest. So, sometimes it's the Seahawks, sometimes the Raiders, sometimes...
It's really more about the players for me. Wilson and Rodgers at QB, Brown at WR, those shifty RBs like Charles or McCoy a few years back, and now Bell.

I don't have any specific favorites yet, especially since I haven't been following the league for even a full year. However, if I had to choose, Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady are the biggest icons, so perhaps the Patriots would be my team.

As an Eagles fanβ€”someone who’s been pulling for the 76ers since the days Allen Iverson was tearing up the courtβ€”the first team I ever checked out when I got into the NFL was Philly. Back then, we had that "revolutionary" Danny Kelly era. Man, those years from 2013 through 2016 were something elseβ€”Sam Hinkie and Danny Kelly running things in Philadelphia πŸ™πŸ™. A city everyone loves to hate, a GM and coach everyone loved to despise because they actually tried to change the status quo. Those were the good old days πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ just riding that wave until the end.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about this season. We aren't winning the Super Bowl, though who knows how many years of peace we'll get before things get messy again. Of course, we'll always be rooting against the fraud Patriots, that jerk from Dallas, and that washed-up Elijah. I don't hold much of a grudge against the Washington Commanders, thoughβ€”they're always an easy win.

The 49ers, obviously πŸ™‚

Reason: Joe Montana. Plus, I only root for West Coast teams when I'm watching here in the States. πŸ™‚

Eagles fans, man, I live for this chaos, fighting against the giants, that whole "community ownership versus the dictators" debate, those legends from back in the day, facing down the winter chill in Philly...

I’m honestly just sitting here hoping McCarthy gets the boot, maybe one more resurrection for Foles, some kind of global catastrophe that finally pushes SB out of the South and clears out these arenas πŸ™‚

Are you some kind of undercover operative or something?

The guy feels like he’s pulling all the strings behind the scenes here... maybe just my cynical take, I guess.β˜•

But seriously, who actually is this person?😳

And then there's that girl from the USβ€”boldraven3, I thinkβ€”who didn't even cast a vote, yet she's out here rooting for the Packers if my memory serves me right... 🀣
