Getting maybe three hours of sleep before hitting the sack at 5, then waking up at 7... followed by a rushed breakfast {right before work starts at 9}. Wuhuuuu!

Hard to focus when my head is full of voices and suicidal thoughts.

Try meditation. It really helps organize and filter out those unwanted thoughtsβ€”you know, the internal voices.

Just twenty minutes a day and you'll be a whole new person in a year.

Is it just me, 🀣 or am I seeing nothing but a handful of women on this forum? 😁

Daa πŸ‘‹

What should we dive into today to keep things from feeling as gloomy as this miserable day? 😳

It is absolutely freezing here, just a constant stretch of gray, overcast skies... and since it happens to be Saturday, which is Saturn's day, I figured I would just mention that. πŸ•Ί

It’s just as trash over here 😁

Honestly, this weather is giving me a massive headache πŸ™‚ I know some coffee would fix it, but my pantry is totally empty 😳 you think you could brew me a cup? 😳

How on earth can you be without coffee when you've got unannounced guests dropping by right now? πŸ™‚

I make it a point to always have some kind of instant mix stashed away somewhere, even if it's just tucked in my bag. 😳

Is that really an option for you? And tell me, what kind of coffee do you usually go for, besides a quick shot of espresso? 😁

I’ve got nothing. If guests show up, I can at most offer them an apple or some cheese πŸ™‚ 🀣

Sure 😳
I’m drinking some local coffee right now. I take a tiny little espresso cup, toss in two heaping spoonfuls of grounds and just one spoonful of sugar. That’s pretty much it for me πŸ‘‹

I’ve never really had much of a taste for apples. πŸ•Ί
In that case, I suppose I’d just have to finish off that cheese for you. 🀣

As for coffee, I enjoy a dark roast too, though I can't stand it without sugarβ€”I always find myself adding a splash of milk to soften the edge. πŸ‘‹
I actually can't bring myself to drink plain black coffee anymore; I've become quite reliant on those instant creamers, and honestly, nothing beats a good cup of Folgers. 😳

Guess I'll just have to eat that cheese for you then. 🀣

I'm also into black coffee, but without sugar, though I usually splash a little milk in there. πŸ‘‹
I can't even deal with straight black coffee anymore; I'm constantly drinking those 2-in-1 mixes, and honestly, the stuff from Folgers is my favorite. 😳

You don't like apples? 😳 To me, that sounds like fruit that's so basic everyone is supposed to love it. 😁

I don't put any milk in mine. πŸ•Ί
And man, those 2-in-1 mixes taste more like cocoa than actual coffee to me. πŸ•Ί

Jeffrey Baker18 said:You aren't a fan of apples? 😳To me, they always seem like that quintessential fruitβ€”one of those things so incredibly common that everyone just accepts them as a staple. 😁

I personally don't use any milk.πŸ•Ί
Those 2-in-1 blends honestly taste more like cocoa than actual coffee to me.πŸ•Ί

I'm not much for applesπŸ•Ίexcept for the tart green ones; those sweet varieties just don't do it for me, and I find the texture a bit mushy and unappealing.😁

But you're right, that coffee is definitely milder; I’ve grown so used to it that when I try a regular black coffee now, it feels almost overwhelmingly intense. Though, I must admit, there are moments when I actually crave a cup that's strong enough to truly shake me awake.πŸ•Ί

For real, that coffee is way smoother. I've gotten so used to it that when I try regular black coffee now, it hits me way too hard. Though, honestly, sometimes I actually crave a massive caffeine bomb just to kick my ass into gear. πŸ•Ί

Granny Smith apples. Exactly, those are the only ones worth buying.
I hate anything mushy too. I need that satisfying crunch when you bite into them. 😳😳

Yeah, that caffeine hit will definitely snap you out of a funk immediately. πŸ‘‹

New people show up, being vulnerable about their mental health struggles, and what do you guys do? You just turn this place into a giant ego trip with endless "me, me, me" posts.

Do you guys have zero shame, empathy, or compassion?

I mean it.
