mellowtiger83 said:It was obviously intentional; there is no room for debate here. Why on earth would you even bother arguing with Tibi? Just drop it—you can clearly see he’s surrounded by a mindless horde of fanboys!

Karma is a relentless force, and when Sebastian Vettel's karma finally catches up with him, it will be decisive. I see you are still engaging in debates regarding him and Max Verstappen; frankly, that is a futile endeavor, as Max will prove his worth entirely on his own terms.

Are you actually still hanging around this forum? Didn't you claim you were leaving? 🤦

A massive wave of karma is coming for Lewis Hamilton and Niki Lauda, and those fanboys will find themselves completely blindsided. 😁
Hamilton should have been penalized for intentionally impeding Sebastian Vettel, yet the FIA dictates penalties and technical regulations solely to suit Mercedes-Benz, and remarkably, nobody seems to protest. One might even wonder if they were granted some clandestine tire testing again, given how quickly their tire degradation issues seemingly vanished.

Ultimately, Sebastian Vettel has widened the gap, and he did so using the engine from the Australian Grand Prix, effectively throwing sand in the eyes of Vuk, leaving Niki Lauda licking his wounds, and leaving Lewis Hamilton—for whom a 1.1-second advantage in qualifying meant absolutely nothing during the race—and his artificial fanboys in the dust. Cheers to them. 🍿

People, is this actually possible? Such optimism.

It's somewhat frightening. 🤣

I remember before some race—I think it was in China—when Baton did something even worse than Hamilton and didn't get a penalty. So, I guess that's allowed... But honestly, they need to change the rules so they start like they do in NASCAR or IndyCar, then we won't have all this crap.

It seems such conduct is perfectly permissible under current standards. However, the regulations ought to be overhauled entirely; if they adopted a starting procedure similar to what we see in NASCAR or IndyCar, all this nonsense would simply vanish.

Fine, so what you are suggesting is that if an identical scenario unfolds at the next race in Austria, Hamilton will be penalized? And is it not common knowledge that the Briton enjoys preferential treatment from every possible angle simply because he is British?

The only ones getting special treatment here are Ferrari, thanks to that absolute joke of a penalty!

It was high time someone reminded Hamilton that he doesn't own the track just because he's behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, wouldn't you agree? It was quite satisfying to see. 🍿

If they actually enforced the rules and said it was banned, Ham wouldn't be acting like this. I’ve said it before—the FIA needs to change the regulations because this whole thing is just ridiculous...

mellowtiger83 said:What does it matter if it was dangerous or not? What does speed have to do with it?

If you don't get what the issue is, you're missing the point. It’s incredibly unsportsmanlike and just plain rude, and it leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Sure, maybe it wasn't "dangerous," but it was ugly and stupid.

Give the moralizing a rest. As long as you're a Hamilton fan...🤦
Honestly, I’m getting sick of the lecturing—especially this specific brand of lecturing coming from Hamilton fans.🙄

I am absolutely, 100% certain that if the roles were reversed, everyone would be out in full force screaming about how the other guy was being a total jerk instead of just hitting brakes...
The British media would crucify Sebastian Vettel as the worst ever for brake testing—which is easily one of the most dangerous things in all of motorsports. Sky Sports would lead with it, then every single British outlet would dutifully blast the video all over the internet...

And they’d probably demand a three-race ban for Sebastian Vettel, because imagine if someone had actually slammed into the back of him in a pack like that.😳

They’d even start theorizing that Hamilton shouldn't have just hit him, but should have pulled him out of his car and beaten him senseless right there in front of everyone...
And honestly, I'm not even 100% sure you wouldn't be right there with them.😁

The way Hamilton and his fans lecture everyone else really gets under my skin...
Look, the guy blatantly lied to the faces of the FIA, and because of those lies, he walked away with a penalty for Trulia and a spot on the podium.
And when he got caught in the lie, he had the nerve to blame his engineer, claiming he was told to lie...
For crap like that, you usually get suspended for several seasons, you don't just get a free pass.🙂

He used to slam into Nico Rosberg constantly at much higher speeds and in situations that were arguably just as sketchy, with basically the same intentions.🙂

He also spent plenty of time testing Pirelli tires and the current car outside of the regulations, kept quiet about it, and nobody said a word... neither him nor the team...
Instead, he actually went on to win more titles because of it.😁

Then there's him going off to hang out in America, firing an automatic weapon at kids for fun, posting the video on Twitter, and nothing happens... apparently, that's perfectly fine behavior for kids to see...

Then there's him flashing himself on Twitter and nothing happens... totally okay behavior for the youth to emulate...

And he’d probably try to solve issues with Sebastian Vettel by using his fists, too, and nothing would happen... just more "okay" behavior for the kids...

And just like that, every kid on the planet is going to start thinking brake testing is some kind of badge of honor. It's going to lead to some seriously nasty consequences. 🙂
God, the moral compass in this sport is absolutely broken. 🤦

Spot on. 👍
But we definitely don't need to start a massive drama or act like this has some life-altering impact on a bunch of kids...

Hamilton isn't the only one who does that; it’s practically universal at this level...
If Kimi had been the one to hit him, I would have just assumed he accidentally bumped the steering wheel and got startled...🙂
Sebastian Vettel completely lost his cool—it was pure road rage... 🙂
But again, I say, whatever happens, happens... it’s just being a man... even if it was the wrong move...🙂

Look, Lewis Hamilton is the guy who lives by the rulebook. 🤣

The rules say no testing current cars or tires during the season—Hamilton clearly tested. 🙂
The rules say don't lie to the stewards—Hamilton clearly lied. 🙂
The rules say don't ram the driver ahead when the red lights are on in the pit lane—Hamilton clearly rammed someone. 🙂

That's just a quick list of his absolute worst rule violations... and that's not even counting everything else. 😁

God, you guys are boring. 🤣
Such an intense race, so much actual substance to talk about, yet all you can focus on is Ham and Seb. So what if they clashed? Does it really matter if Ham was penalized or if Seb took him out on purpose? We're talking about two absolute legends who have hauled in seven championships over the last nine seasons. They sit second and fourth on the all-time wins list, and between them, they’ve got over 210 podiums.

Penalties? Conspiracies? Please. Drivers like them always got a pass back in the day—we should just be happy to finally see them going head-to-head for the title.

It's always "FIA this" and "FIA that"... honestly, they're just kicking each other in the teeth because we finally have an unpredictable season. This bickering between Seb and Ham is just the icing on the cake. As for penalties... they'll probably just penalize some mid-fielders like Magnussen or Hulkenberg instead.

mellowtiger83 said:What win? He didn't stand a chance at winning. The only thing he had going for him was Hamilton's HANS device, which might have handed him the victory, but then the FIA basically gift-wrapped a spot in front of Hamilton at the end of the race. Unbelievable!

The FIA didn't give him anything. Hamilton just struggled hard right after his pit stop...
http://en.mclarenf-1.com/index.php?p...stian%20Vettel

If he’d driven the car he had during laps 33 and 34, he would've finished at least 2-3 seconds ahead of Sebastian Vettel... minimum.
33 1:46.081
34 1:46.336
35 1:45.294
And don't even get me started on this one...
44 1:43.840
45 1:43.874
46 1:43.469

You can debate the FIA until you're blue in the face, but Hamilton is entirely to blame for finishing behind Vettel.☕

The FIA honestly just got lucky they didn't get hit by a lightning bolt

I'm thinking the race in the USA is gonna see a huge spike in viewership—maybe even double—just because of this whole Vettel-Hamilton drama 😍

If even sites like

are picking up the news, starting debates, and weighing in on this "incident," you can only imagine how it's playing out in the niche F1 circles and how much things are actually heating up

Now we're just waiting for the situation to really start boiling over with all the different versions of what happened 😍

Not like our mom explained why Sainz spun out at the start because he got spooked by Kvyat 🤣 And this guy actually thinks he’s gonna be champion 😵

And another thing—there’s all this speculation that hitting the front wheel might have caused issues with the HANS device. From what I know, Louie and everyone else ended up climbing out of their cars after that. So, it basically means the crew messed up or didn't secure the HANS properly during the pit stop. Just a classic Mercedes-Benz blunder, I guess.

I also get the feeling that if it wasn't for that HANS issue, maybe the penalty for Sebastian Vettel wouldn't have been so harsh—they might have even pushed it to the end of the race just to see how things played out. 😍
