mellowtiger83 said:It’s all becoming crystal clear now. 🙂So, Vettel is to blame for the first collision, just like Ricciardo said—and the FIA actually backed him up on that one. 👍

Here’s another perspective on the situation. This is live footage—specifically the telemetry. Take a close look at the data, and then watch the sudden jerk of Hamilton's helmet right after the impact.
stormybadger8 said:...The whole point of all this Hamilton crying and the British media's endless whining... is that Hamilton, with his so-called geniuses and those sloppy mechanics, handed Sebastian Vettel a full 12-point lead during the race...
And someone has to take the fall... so it's easier to blame Vettel than some nobody from Russia....
...
Of course, it hurts. It hurts a lot, and people will be dragging this out for ages... but honestly, they only have themselves to blame.

Here is the other side of the story. This is live footage—telemetry. Watch the telemetry closely, then notice the jolt to Ham's helmet following the impact.

The guy is crooked and covered in grease. Even the birds on the branch can see his intentions here. He thought he could bait Sergio Perez into hitting Sebastian Vettel (who would have been an easy target), but he didn't expect such a reaction from the German. The guy just snapped like popcorn and reacted purely on impulse. In my view, this situation actually helped Vettel; because of all this, he drove like a maniac afterward, and if they had raced for a few more days, he wouldn't have lost his spot to that idiot behind him. We all know about the practice issues beforehand, and he was running on a heavily worn engine (US Grand Prix). He was clawing at the asphalt after that.
As for Ham, he was a supak and he will remain a supak. From the moment he appeared, he looked like one massive, spoiled brat who was handed an incredible opportunity right out of the gate.
All in all, that fake image on the podium was so grotesque that I was just waiting for a moment like this. Knowing both drivers and the stakes involved, it had to happen—and good riddance!
America, you're next!

The experts have had their say. Now, it’s all down to politics. And that is where things truly turn sour.
Reading posts on American sites lately, it often feels like they're still stuck in World War 2. sick. I suspect they're being driven by a desperate attachment to the perennial pride of McLaren—which currently holds a "garbage" rating—so they find solace in a team that is (at least by ownership and management) German. Consider the sheer absurdity of that.
Out of pure helplessness regarding their own trash, they cheer for the German squad simply because their star driver runs there, and his main (and only) rival happens to be a German.
And that German belongs (to the Germans, naturally) to the axis of evil that has caused them so much pain and suffering over the last 10 or 20 years. That axis of evil consists (of course, the Germans) of Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg, and Sebastian Vettel.
