Elizabeth Chase44 said:Since I’m currently cutting fat but also cranking up the intensity at the gym, can I use whey as a meal replacement during the day (sometimes my job gets so hectic I don't get a decent meal in) and then again after my workout? Basically, my question is—I won't accidentally bulk up from this if I take it twice a day, right? 😁
If I'm understanding things correctly, I need about 2g per kg for muscle growth, so those two scoops shouldn't just make me puff up overnight, right?

If you're looking for some solid advice on nutrition—like what actually works as a meal replacement and the best timing for it—just shoot me a DM! I'd be more than happy to help you figure it all out...😍🤣🤣

Hey, does anyone know the scoop on the scoop size for Multipower whey? It looks tiny, like maybe 10g? Am I spot on?

Thomas Cook54 said:I stand corrected. Now, there's a chance we aren't even talking about the same thing here—when I say spoon, I mean a standard, everyday kitchen spoon, though God knows what kind of specialized utensil you might have in mind somewhere.

It's true, though; your average person's soup spoon usually sits right around 10g.

Yo, what's the deal with this whey—is it actually any good?

And how does it stack up against something like Dymatize?

Generally speaking, most whey proteins are pretty much interchangeable—you won't go wrong either way.
A lot of people rank this Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey at the top when it comes to flavor, mixability, and overall results. Plus, their marketing definitely helps—they use world-class bodybuilding champions as their models. I’d personally vouch for it. Either grab this or the Twinlab Fuel.

The real pros usually steer clear of Dymatize ISO100 because it carries too much soy protein; it shouldn't be your benchmark for quality.

So, check it out—there's this guy over at the local gym who runs his own little supplement side-hustle through the community boards.

He’s got Myprotein unflavored 5kg bags $167, plus the flavored 5kg ones $200.
Honestly, if you want the best bang for your buck, that's the move. It's definitely not some inferior stuff compared to the big brands.

If we're talking flavor and how easily it mixes, it's hands down the best whey out there. As far as my own experience goes, in terms of actual results and muscle gains, it's pretty much on par with everything else.

Quick question for anyone using the 5kg tub of Optimum Nutrition whey.
I was just wondering if it actually comes with a scoop inside or not, I guess?

Just checking in here,

but I'm curious—what kind of Omega-3 are you guys actually using? Pills, liquid oil, whatever works.

THANKS!!

Well, folks, I have a shipment of Mutant Mass arriving in about ten days—a full 6.8 kg tub... and since I’ll certainly end up with more than one can reasonably handle, I figured I might as well offer an extra one to someone who could use it.
If anyone finds this of interest, please feel free to send me a private message.
The price will be more than reasonable, I assure you...😁

Does anyone happen to have the number for the guy selling Myprotein stuff?

I used to order from him, but I never actually grabbed his digits since he just had an ad up on Craigslist. Now it's gone...🙂

I used to order from him regularly, but I never actually saved his number because he just had an ad posted on Craigslist. Now, the listing is gone and I can't track him down.🙂

The reason Myprotein Impact Whey is cheaper is simple: it’s a straight concentrate. It's a basic formula, nothing more.

what the hell?
😕

are you actually reading this with your eyes, or are you just trying to learn Morse code off the screen? because those look more like power buttons to me.

Are you actually reading this with your eyes, or are you trying to learn Morse code by staring at the power button? Because that’s the only thing on your screen that seems to be working.

It looks like a lot of you have latched onto Impact Whey because the price point is decent, but most people don't actually understand why it's so cheap.
In today's market, it's rare to find a manufacturer offering pure concentrate. Take Allstars, for example—I've tried it, and based on how poorly it dissolves, it's obvious there's zero isolate in there. It's the exact same story with Myprotein's Impact Whey.

So, what's the deal with this one?

It claims to be a 100% whey isolate, but I guess you have to wonder how much you can actually trust those labels on the packaging, right?
