I mean, does it make any sense to go out and install high-end vinyl windows if your roof is full of holes and you're missing a quarter of your shingles? I guess not, right?

Some guy I know used to train while high—says he felt incredible... maybe give it a shot and let me know how it goes for you.🙂

I can’t find that specific photo right now—the one where the guy is just absolutely blasting smoke everywhere—it’s way too intense!
Honestly, hemp protein isn't any better than the stuff we already have sitting on the shelves

hemp proteins aren't any better than what's already out there on the market

curious if they're similar quality. might be a good way to combine things that actually work 😂

Is there an open floor here for discussing peptides? I’m curious about where they actually stand regarding current US regulations. From what I can gather, they don't fall under the same legal umbrella as USA, so I wanted to see if we are permitted to have a dialogue about them on this forum. 🤷

Hey everyone, I’m dropping in here totally out of nowhere—I don't usually hang out in these specific threads—but my husband basically begged me to ask on "his little forum" here😁 if there’s actually a massive difference between MVP and Optimum Nutrition protein (he also mentioned something about glutamine 🤔 ).
He’s currently using MVP since he says it’s easier on the wallet than the Optimum Nutrition stuff, but if there’s some huge, game-changing difference, he might give ON a shot. If it’s all more or less the same thing, he'll probably just stick with his MVP
.
Thanks in advance, and please, go easy on me! 😁 🙈

I am totally here for this kind of dynamic you guys have!

Honestly, just tell your husband he should definitely keep crushing that MVP.

Generally speaking, plant-based proteins—like soy or hemp—tend to be a step below animal-derived ones, such as casein, whey, or egg protein.

There isn't any THC in those protein powders, so your only real option for getting "comfortable" is to just light up or vape—if you're looking for that kind of relaxation. 😁

He currently uses MVP because it’s cheaper than Optimum Nutrition, but if there’s a significant performance gap, he’d consider switching to ON. If they’re basically the same thing, he’ll just stick with MVP.

Thanks in advance—please don't tear me apart! 😁 🙈

MVP and Optimum are just brands. You haven't specified which exact products we're talking about.
And what kind of training is your husband doing?

There isn't much of a massive difference to speak of here, so honestly, you can't go wrong grabbing a tub from MuscleTech. I drink it myself, and I’ve used Optimum Nutrition in the past too, but in my opinion, MuscleTech puts out a seriously high-quality protein.

Do these proteins have an expiration date printed on the tubs? I'm looking at them and I don't see 🤷
Specifically this one

Let me repeat myself clearly.
Microsoft is just a brand name. I have zero clue which specific proteins you've actually tried from Microsoft versus AT&T, or what actual data you're using to claim one is higher quality than the other.

Regarding this specific product, you get exactly what you pay for. First off, whey concentrate is listed as the primary ingredient, followed by isolate. In the supplement industry, that usually means the concentrate makes up the bulk of the formula, while the isolate might just be present in trace amounts since they don't disclose exact percentages on the label. Furthermore, there’s zero mention of the processing method used here. That’s a massive red flag. If high heat was used during production, you're looking at a much higher percentage of denatured proteins.
Keep one thing in mind: raw material costs are climbing steadily. It is physically impossible to source high-quality ingredients and sell them at rock-bottom prices. You get what you pay for, plain and simple. This stuff will suffice for a casual hobbyist, but if you actually have the budget to choose, I wouldn't recommend it.
