Does anyone know if our names actually show up on these student discount tickets?
I'm still undecided about whether I can make it, so I was thinking about grabbing one while the price is still low. If it turns out I can't go, I'd just pass it along to someone else.

I'm still trying to figure out if my schedule will even allow me to goβso I was thinking about grabbing a ticket now while the price is lower, just in case I can't make it and need to pass it off to someone else.
Probably not; they didn't include names on them last year.

Iβm still on the fence about whether I can even make it, so I was thinking about grabbing one while the price is still low, just in case I end up passing it off to someone else later.
Mine does! :-) And honestly, Iβm also undecided on whether I can swing itβmostly just a budget thingβso if I manage to pick up some extra cash on the side, Iβd love to buy it from you.

The name isn't actually printed on the ticketβit just says it on the discount voucher. You have to show your student ID or some other official ID, and I guess the info on that has to match the voucher exactly. So, if I'm reading this right, you could technically get into the festival with someone else's ticketβprovided you can fake the paperwork, anyway.

Yes, yes π you've got me figured out. Thanks!
@lolobrigita23 I'll keep you in mind if I ever decide to sell. π

Coachella. π I mean, the lineup looks killer so far, though Iβm crossing my fingers that none of these bands end up playing at the exact same time. π

That would be absolutely wonderful. However, I fear they might be far too contemporary for a Coachella lineup that seems so heavily geared toward an older demographic...

Honestly, skip Radiohead. They're probably way too expensive to book. Iβd rather focus on a lineup of smaller, higher-quality bands instead.

In your dreams, π I'll probably be waving at you from the main stage at Lollapalooza π

Honestly, what can you even say about Franz Ferdinand, The Monkees, or those other imitators? Back in 2007, Sonic Youth actually showed everyone how music should be playedβand having Iggy Pop there was everything. That man is an absolute legend, possessing more raw energy than all the acts listed here combined...

Just watched this AC/DC cover band on YouTube for the first time and I can't help but wonder... is this some kind of parody?ππ€£ππ²
I didn't even realize these kinds of clichΓ© "rockers" still existedβit's basically what my grandmother probably imagines Rock and Roll sounds like, heaven forbid. I suppose I can only forgive this style from MotΓΆrhead or AC/DC since they're actual institutions, but this is just total trash.π
It actually made me think of a band Iβd love to see liveβDub Pistols!
Even if their latest album was just okay, they have a reputation for being one of the best live acts out there, with all those interesting collaborations with Terry Hall and Rodney Jerkins... I suspect they're a hundred times more authentic than these caricatures from Australia. I'd really love to catch them at Coachella or maybe a festival like Lollapalooza. Actually, maybe Lollapalooza would be better...
By the way, word is Coachella might move to a small town in the Midwest next year to take advantage of lower taxes in Canada.π

So what are we supposed to be without a major festival?
Fantastic.
Just like back in the day, around 2004. π€¦

Single-day pass: $97 (please note that single-day tickets will be available exclusively at the festival box office during the event datesβprovided that full festival passes haven't already sold out)

Hey, quick question
Does anyone know if it'll actually be possible to snag festival tickets about ten days before Coachella kicks off?
I'm assuming there will be enough people looking to offload them at the very last minute, right?

I can't say for certain, though I suspect they won't sell out quite that quickly.
By the way, The Killers have confirmed they're coming.

Iβve already caught The Strokes live, but Iβm honestly just as stoked for The Killersβsaw them a few years back at Coachella π
