I sent over all my verification docs, and they gave me the whole "give us 72 hours to process" routine. Now they're claiming they sent an email to wrap up the verification, but I haven't seen a single thing in my inbox. My email is working perfectly fine, so there's zero excuse for them not hitting my inbox. Has anyone else dealt with this nonsense, or does anyone have a suggestion on how to handle these guys?

Man, I went through the exact same thing during my first withdrawal attempt (never got that "sent" email they kept insisting on), but once I actually reached out and gave them a hard time, they resent it and everything cleared. But here's the kicker—right after that, they limited my account so I could only bet $1 per hand or whatever, so yeah, that was the end of my relationship with them. Things might have shifted slightly in the last couple of years, but honestly? I doubt it. Just stay patient, keep your arguments logical and firm, and you'll eventually get your cash.

Just in case you haven't noticed, BetMGM actually operates through two different registration sites:
https://www.marathonbet.com and
https://www.marathonbet.co.uk

The odds and the offers are identical, but the real difference lies in the betting limits, withdrawal methods, and the verification process. For instance, the .com site doesn't demand any documentation when you withdraw, whereas the .uk version makes it mandatory...

Anyone got an account with BetMGM? Is it actually possible to make deposits and withdrawals in USD using a standard checking account from JPMorgan Chase?

That is simply not true. While it might happen occasionally that the .com site doesn't request documents, more often than not, they demand them...

Well, you aren't going to be able to open a brand new account if you haven't already established one previously, can you?

As for me, I typically handle all my withdrawals via either PayPal or a foreign currency account, and honestly, I haven't run into a single hiccup! (Just keep in mind that my bwin account is held in Euros).
Using PayPal tends to be quite a bit faster, whereas if you opt for the foreign currency route, you should probably expect a wait of at least 5 to 7 business days—if not even longer than that, wouldn't you agree?

I handle my payouts through either PayPal or a foreign currency account and I never run into issues. (My account on BetMGM is in USD).
PayPal is usually much faster, whereas a wire transfer will definitely take 5-7 business days, if not longer.

So I can't just open a BetMGM account right now? Why?

It is because they have prohibited opening any new accounts for residents living in the US.

Nothing ever goes quite right...

I started the verification process for my foreign currency debit card on my PayPal Digital wallet, where both the card and the account are held in the same currency. To get things moving, I headed down to my local JPMorgan Chase branch to grab a printed statement. Looking at the transaction, the amount shows up as x,yz. Just to be absolutely certain, I went up to the teller window, and after explaining myself three different times, the woman there tells me she sees exactly what I see on the statement, but she can't actually confirm if that x,yz total already includes whatever processing fees the bank might have tacked on.
So, I head home and give JPMorgan Chase a call. I try my best to explain the whole situation—PayPal, the verification process, the specific amount, the potential fees...
The representative goes to check the details, comes back on the line, and tells me straight up that there are no extra fees and that the amount shown on my statement should be the exact same amount that arrived in my PayPal account.
I log into PayPal, type that x,yz figure into the input box, and hit confirm.

Invalid entry...

What am I supposed to do now?

If the transaction description says something along the lines of "pending authorization for blah blah," then the final amount hasn't actually been settled yet. Once PayPal pulls the funds, it usually takes about three to seven days for your bank to receive the actual invoice and finalize the exact total. You'll know you're looking at the definitive figure once the description shifts to something like "PayPal transaction [number]."

I started verifying a debit card for my foreign currency account on PayPal, and both the account and the card are in the same currency. So, I head down to JPMorgan Chase to grab a statement. I see the transaction—the amount is x,yz. Just to be safe, I go to the teller window. After asking me the same thing three times, the woman tells me she sees exactly what I see on the statement, but she can't confirm if that x,yz total includes some random bank fee or not.
Fine. I get home and call JPMorgan Chase. I explain everything—PayPal, verification, the amount, the potential fees...
The agent goes to check, comes back on the line, and tells me there's no fee and that the amount on my statement should be the exact amount that hit PayPal.

now what?

If you mess up the amount a few times, they'll lock you out.
If that happened to you, just scan your ID or something and send it over to them.
That's how I got through it once.🙂
I tried typing in the amount immediately without double-checking, it was wrong, and they blocked me right away.

Once they lock your card, you should head over to the help section and send them an email. The issue usually lies with the scanned ID or some document that needs to match your name and address perfectly. I guess you might have to wait up to two weeks for them to unlock it, unless you happen to be a VIP client, in which case it might be faster. However, if you just want to move your money, you probably don't actually need the card unlocked. For instance, if you go to DraftKings to make a deposit and select PayPal, DraftKings will likely just pull the funds directly from your PayPal balance. It’s probable that other sportsbooks operate the same way. That might save you from waiting those two weeks for the card to be cleared. I don't mean to imply you can do whatever you want with the money, because if I recall correctly, you can't really move funds anywhere except from PayPal to another PayPal account.

By the way, if there was a typo in your entry, maybe wait a few days before requesting another statement, since that initial amount won't match the actual total.

I’m just being cautious for once, which is why I’m making sure to handle everything carefully to avoid any unnecessary headaches🙂
it’s almost certainly related to what the guy above mentioned, specifically regarding the reservation

Look, this happens to more people than you'd think—just give it a few days. The bank will eventually fix the amount to match exactly what PayPal is asking for, then just go ahead and enter that 😉

I have three accounts on each. On the .com version, not a single one requested documentation, but on the .uk version, they asked for it every single time. Using PayPal or Neteller for deposits and withdrawals.

Hey, listen, I need some help here..

Because of all these taxes and whatnot, I've decided to switch over to offshore sportsbooks..

Based on your own experiences, which one is actually the best?..
The better the football selection—I'm talking goals, player props, or even player + match combos if possible—the better. It would also be great if the NBA offerings are decent, since I occasionally like to play those too..

Just read the last few pages of this thread. Everything you need is right there.

Who on earth knows which one is best?
FanDuel definitely handles the highest volume of bets—though you can also find options like player goalscorer props, provided you're looking at specific leagues. Patrick has some offerings too, but let's be honest, his limits are significantly lower.
If you're looking into American sports, Pinnacle is the way to go.

When it comes to accumulator parlays, does it really matter which platform you choose? Not particularly! You should simply hunt for wherever the odds are most favorable for you.

Isn't it just a brilliant idea to maintain accounts across several different sportsbooks while keeping your funds sitting in your PayPal Digital wallet? That way, you are always prepared to jump on the best value the moment it appears!

Is that really enough of a sample size to confidently claim they don't ask for verification?😁
Otherwise, when I tried to proactively send over my documents during registration on one of them, they actually rejected me—apparently, they prefer to request documentation only when they deem it absolutely necessary.🙄

Anyone looking to pick up a $50 paysafecard?
It’s honestly the best way to fund those offshore betting sites since there aren't any transaction fees.
I'll let it go for $100

Mark Carter65 said:Also, is anyone betting on the Canadian version of DraftKings?? Looking for some feedback?? Seems alright from what I've heard??

I've been playing on DraftKings for a while now and honestly, it's pretty decent. Biggest plus for me? They have those super bets just like our local US sportsbooks, and you can actually mix them together how you want. That fits my style perfectly since I love putting together those "sure thing" parlays with maybe 2 or 4 legs. Plus, ever since they switched over to the .com domain, the selection is way broader and there's more depth—like having a much better variety of basketball handicaps, which wasn't really an option back when they were stuck on the old domain.
