Joshua Morris17 said:If someone deposits into my PayPal instead of me doing it myself, how does withdrawing winnings from the sportsbook actually work later on?

Just deposit using your own PayPal. It works like this:

1. Set up a PayPal account.
Using my example here—if you don't have a debit card, this is the move:
2. Find someone who has extra cash sitting in their PayPal. For instance, let’s say I have $100 in my PayPal account.
3. I give you my bank details, and you transfer, say, $257 or whatever the current rate is for $100.
4. Once that's done, I send that $100 from my PayPal account directly to yours.
5. The money hits your account instantly, and then you can just fund your betting account yourself through your PayPal.

Just watch your back. There are scammers out there. You don't want to send them your cash only for them to ghost you and never send the PayPal funds.
Clear enough now?
That’s how people used to handle it. That was my entire setup when I first started betting online before I had any cards.

If you go ahead and request a withdrawal, just keep in mind that you won't be able to claim any bonuses!

@ John Doe
Let me give you an example of how this works:
Suppose you deposit funds directly into my checking account, and then I transfer the equivalent amount from my PayPal to yours.
Once you withdraw your winnings from DraftKings to your PayPal, you can simply send that money over to my PayPal, and I’ll wire it right back to your bank account—or however else you’d prefer to handle it!

Arthur Howard said:FanDuel offers you a bonus ranging from $5 to $20, depending on how much you deposit during the week, from Monday through Sunday.
The bonuses are issued on Wednesdays. It’s actually a great perk because you can accumulate up to $1,000 in bonuses annually, which is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

(I'll mention this before anyone gets banned for discussing specific amounts)

The Loyalty bonus is always $15; you don't even need to make a deposit. You just need to turn that $15 into $45, and then you're cleared to withdraw it...

Well then, alright!

I happen to be quite familiar with that specific bonus they offer you every single Wednesday, you know?
The actual amount tends to fluctuate depending entirely on how much action you saw in your account during the previous week—running from Monday through Wednesday, of course—typically landing somewhere between $5 and $20.

And let's not forget about that other little perk, where if you decide to take a break and don't place any bets for a few months, they'll come knocking with a deposit bonus ranging from 25% to 50%!

The Loyalty bonus depends entirely on your activity levels—specifically how much you’re wagering and how frequently you use FanDuel. It doesn't even matter whether you're actually winning or losing; the only thing that truly matters is that you aren't being limited. After you've had your account open for a little while, they start sending those emails claiming you're their favorite player just to hand over that bonus. If memory serves, it usually lands on a Wednesday or a Thursday, and it can happen two or three times a month. The highest one I ever saw was $100.
And then, once you finally trigger a limit, they'll slash your MaxBet access and send a polite email explaining how they unfortunately can no longer offer you any bonuses or perks...

Betty Garcia7 said:Can I deposit and withdraw money to PayPal using my checking account?

I'm wondering the same thing. Hypothetically, let's say I have some cash sitting in local sportsbooks, so I withdraw it to my PayPal Digital wallet and then use that PayPal balance to fund my FanDuel account. In this scenario, I wouldn't even be using a card for the deposit. If I wanted to cash out later, could I just send it back to my PayPal and then transfer it directly to my standard checking account at JPMorgan Chase?

Hypothetically, if I have some funds sitting in our local sportsbooks, I could withdraw them to my PayPal, and then from PayPal, deposit them into FanDuel. In this scenario, I wouldn't be using a credit or debit card for the deposit at all. If I eventually wanted to cash out, I'd withdraw back to PayPal—would it then be possible to transfer those funds directly into a standard checking or savings account at JPMorgan Chase?

Of course you can do that...

People should be careful not to get caught off guard. Someone might try to take you to task, so you really ought to be able to explain the source of your funds, especially if we're talking about larger amounts.

I'm planning on picking up a Paysafecard from $67, but how do I move that into my PayPal since everything over there is in Euros?

I accidentally requested a PayPal MASTERCARD, and—as if they were just waiting for the chance—they immediately hit my account with a $10 charge. Does anyone happen to know if it's actually possible to cancel this thing, and more importantly, how? I've already sent two emails, but I haven't heard a single word back from them. Thanks.

The card is actually quite useful. Second, if you aren't a VIP member, I suppose you might have to wait a while for an email response; if you're in a rush, you could just call them. Third, here is the answer from their help center, quoting
How do I cancel my Visa card?
If you want to, you can cancel your Visa card online at any time without any cancellation fee via the Visa card section of your account. Any leftover money will stay in your PayPal Digital wallet and can be withdrawn whenever you like.

Hey, quick question—since it looks like everyone here is glued to FanDuel... Is there any other sportsbook out there that actually offers Greek cinema?

Hey everyone!! Things are really heating up regarding online betting with international bookies. What’s your take on the setup I’m running? Basically, I deposit funds into my Standard Oil account, move them over to PayPal, and then transfer from PayPal to an offshore sportsbook. For withdrawals, it’s the exact same loop: sportsbook to PayPal, then PayPal back to Standard Oil. Does this make me "safer" in your eyes??? Also, is anyone here actually betting on the Canadian DraftKings site?? I’m looking for some real feedback—it sounds decent from what I've heard, but what do you think?

Basically, I deposit funds into my Standard Oil account, then transfer them over to PayPal, and from there, I move them to an overseas sportsbook. For withdrawals, I just reverse the process: from the sportsbook back to PayPal, and finally from PayPal back to Standard Oil. Does this make me "safer" in terms of security or privacy?

That might actually be one of the best ways to "mask" your money trail. Just keep in mind that with Standard Oil, you'll likely have to wager at least 30% of your initial deposit before they'll let you withdraw those funds.

One really needs to look closely at how much everyone is taking in commissions, because if you aren't careful, you might end up losing more just paying the house than you actually would playing at our local US sportsbooks.

BetMGM has been dragging their feet on me for 10 days now and won't release my big win. I already sent over all my verification docs, and they told me the process takes about 72 hours. Now they’re claiming they sent an email to wrap up the verification, but I haven't seen a single thing in my inbox. My email is working perfectly, so there's definitely nothing from them on my end. Has anyone else dealt with this bullshit, or does anyone have a suggestion on what I should do next?

If we're talking about a significant amount of money here, I suppose you should take screenshots of everything. Maybe try calling them to see if you can negotiate and figure out where the holdup is, or perhaps reach out via email—though I’d suggest being polite, if possible. Eventually, you'll see whether they decide to act or not. If they don't move, maybe a lawsuit or some public pressure might be necessary...
Just make sure to archive all your documents, emails, chats, and so on.

Well, I didn't actually say you should stay away from BetMGM or those other sites specifically because of that very reason!

As for the strategy: using BetRivers, then moving funds through PayPal, hitting another sportsbook, back to PayPal, and finally back to BetRivers... honestly, I think it’s much smarter to just stick with Germany since you don't have to worry about wagering that 30% deposit amount.

You lose way too much on the USD to EUR conversion and then back again (around 7.8%), plus Standard Oil hits you with a 1% fee when you fund your PayPal.

Why don't you just get a PayPal MASTERCARD? You can't take betting seriously at foreign sportsbooks without one.

My experience with them has been nothing but good so far. 👍
