John Bishop37 said:What’s the deal with limits on Betfair and Bet365? And how do they treat players who actually win consistently?

Betfair doesn't really have "limits" in the traditional sense because it isn't your standard sportsbook. Your ceiling is basically whatever other people are willing to offer you. Do a quick Google search on Betfair and you'll see it's more like a stock exchange for odds rather than a typical bookie where "The House" dictates the margins and sets the prices...

Is it actually that much of a struggle to scroll back just two or three pages? Every single two days, it’s the exact same questions being asked, even though the answers have been clearly posted at least fifteen times already in this thread.

John Bishop37 said:I’m with you there—even though I’m still pretty much a greenhorn when it comes to online sportsbooks. From what I can gather, and from listening to the real pros around here, Betfair and Pinnacle are the go-to's for single matches, while Bet365 holds their own if you're looking at accumulator bets. Honestly, I don't see much point in the fourth one. Then again, I'm not exactly pushing the limits or testing how these three handle the big whales.

You should also look into Dimes, Bookmaker/BetCRIS, SBO, and Dafabet regarding betting limits—plus, Bet-at-home isn't half bad, even if their odds aren't always the sharpest.

Andrew Howard14 said:The lay bet—it works just like it does at any other sportsbook, right? Hopefully, I’m making sense here...

It’s been a minute since I’ve messed around on Betfair, probably since 🙂
Do they still have that annoying tax situation that drove everyone away a few years back??

@silverridge3/">@@silverridge3 if I recall correctly, taxes hover around 5-7% depending on which state you're in, maybe there are some bonuses available to lower that rate
@driftingotter47/">@@driftingotter47 maybe someone could start a thread serving as an introduction to online sportsbooks—covering deposits, withdrawals, limits, and so on—with reviews of the top 5 to 10 sites, since it seems like every other question here is the exact same thing
@John Bishop37/">@@John Bishop37 regarding accumulators, they only offer the specific types provided by the sportsbook and you can't really tweak them, which is why places like Bet365 are better if you want higher payouts. I've found that my parlays with more legs tend to hit more often on Pinnacle when betting on underdogs because their odds are sharper than Bet365's, though I don't bother with over/under on Pinnacle when building parlays. Basically, Pinnacle crushes the odds on larger sums, so Bet365 usually ends up offering the better price in the end. I suppose you should check both before placing your bet to see where the value is. Just don't be foolish enough to take a 3-goal line if you actually intended to play over 2.5; that kind of thing can easily backfire...

regarding Asian handicap, over/under, let's talk totalshttp://www.valuepunter.com/asianhandicap-table.htm
you can find info in American English too, just use Google...
even with Asian Handicap, right now 800 pairs look identical to me. Between the heavy action on the high and low sides, the volume has crushed the odds. It makes me wonder if it’s even worth pursuing compared to standard 1x2 markets

Why on earth would anyone bother starting a whole new thread about Bevez, when this exact thread exists for that very purpose? Everything has already been laid out here in exhaustive detail, so there’s really no point in cluttering things up further. All you need to do is show a little initiative and scroll back through the previous pages

Andrew Howard14 said:@driftingotter47/">@@driftingotter47 why don't we put together a starter thread covering the basics of online sportsbooks? You know—deposits, withdrawals, limits, all that good stuff—maybe even a quick review of the top 5 to 10 sites. It feels like we're answering the exact same questions over and over again.

Honestly, if anyone here actually has the patience, the expertise, and the spare time to draft a proper primer—just the essentials needed to get an account up and running, a list of the big names, the most reliable bookmakers, etc.—go for it. If someone builds it, we can pin it as the introductory post so we can finally stop seeing the same repetitive questions flooding the board every single day.

Just a few days ago, I floated the idea of putting together some deep-dive reviews—really getting into the weeds on things like deposit and withdrawal speeds, service quality, betting limits, exchange rates, and specific sports offerings across the top-tier bookmakers. Of course, someone like me, who’s still finding my footing in this world, isn't exactly positioned to write those kinds of authoritative guides. I’ve only been hanging around here for about a month, though I’ve managed to soak up quite a bit of wisdom thanks to a handful of you folks on this forum. You have to keep in mind that there's a small group of us newcomers who are slowly but surely cutting ties with the local US-based bookies and looking for better options elsewhere.

I found my answers in the Skrill MC files. As for those bookmaker reviews—isn't there already an endless supply online? Just throw a quick search into Google and you're set.

Is it actually possible to handle deposits and withdrawals through multiple e-wallets on a site like DraftKings without running into any snags? I'm talking about legal issues or anything else that might pop up. Thanks.

Yeah, it’s totally fine. Just expect a wait of about 4-5 days.

Hey everyone—sorry if I’ve ended up in the wrong corner of this thread... I’m mostly just looking to swap about $100 into my Skrill account. My idea was to send some cash via Zelle to someone who needs it first, and then have them shoot the Skrill funds over to me. If anyone is interested in doing a quick swap like that, please just shoot me a private message... and if I've totally missed the mark on where this conversation belongs, I’d really appreciate it if a moderator could point me toward the right section of the forum.
thanks.

I wonder if it might be best to withdraw cash using a Skrill MC card from a Citibank ATM?🤔

I asked 10bet for a withdrawal and sent over my ID and card info, but now they’re asking for a utility bill. I guess... what exactly counts as a utility bill?

It’s just a copy of a bill showing your name and address—think an electric bill, water bill, or something like that.

They're being ridiculous with this nonsense. Isn't a driver's license or a passport enough? And what if I live with my parents and don't have a single bill in my own name? What then?

And then, you simply present them with your official bank statement from Citibank.

That’s exactly why they’re asking for all that extra paperwork 🙂
Just head down to Chase or Bank of America and ask for some official statements—that’s honestly been my lifesaver more than once.

Just head down to the bank and ask for official statements. That saved my skin once!

I don't actually need it; I was just commenting. It's baffling—don't they already have all the info from my ID? But hey, good to know for whenever it eventually comes up. What kind of statement are we talking about exactly? Honestly, I can't remember the last time I even stepped foot in a branch. I do everything through online banking. Maybe once every few years I'll swing by to pick up a new card if they don't mail it out. I'm assuming it's just a statement showing the balance and the recent transactions.
