But hey, better to know for when things eventually go sideways, right? What kind of statement are we even talking about here? Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I stepped foot inside a Chase branch. I do everything through online banking. Maybe once every few years I'll swing by the bank to grab a new debit card if they don't just mail it to me. I'm assuming we're talking about a statement that shows the balance and the most recent transactions.

Same deal over here. I handle everything online, but to verify my PayPal account, I actually had to trek down to the bank to get a physical statement!

Why don't you just request a payment instruction from them?

Everything they could possibly need is listed right there, and honestly, what's the harm in asking? It doesn't cost a dime, and they won't be able to see any of your specific transaction history or amounts!

And besides, do they really need anything else beyond your driver's license or passport, since they're just looking for some form of address verification? Sometimes the address on your ID might be different from where you actually get your mail, right? Well, I've seen that happen quite often, and it usually goes through just fine, so there is absolutely no reason to worry about it!

Hey everyone, I’m relatively new to the world of betting with international bookmakers. Up until now, I’ve mostly stuck to domestic US sites, though I have dabbled with DraftKings once or twice. When I first started out, I wasn't planning on wagering more than about $10 at a time, so I’m trying to figure out which platforms offer the most extensive soccer markets. Specifically, I’m looking for variety in things like 1X2 plus alternatives, "1 and both teams to score" scenarios, and so on. I’m also particularly interested in anytime goalscorer markets. While I know almost every sportsbook offers player props, my strategy involves picking out a few scorers from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games to build a single multi-bet slip for the weekend ahead.
To wrap all that up into one quick question: which sportsbook would you guys recommend for that kind of variety?
On top of that, I’d love to get your take on the best place to bet on NBA player props—basically, where can I find the sharpest odds and the best flexibility for building parlays?

Hey guys, I could use some insight here. I just picked up my PayPal Visa card, and while digging through the little info booklets they sent along with it, I spotted this fine print.

Please note that the card cannot be used at petrol stations, for money share or for online gambling transaction.

Is this standard procedure, or did I just get stuck with a dud?

Is this actually normal, or did I just get totally screwed over here???

When you were setting up your PayPal account, did you check off the box saying you aren't going to gamble?

Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue. How am I supposed to go digging through my account settings to verify that?

So, here’s the situation: I’m looking to bypass the usual headache of moving money through bank accounts or using my debit cards. I'm trying to figure out the most streamlined way to handle deposits and withdrawals with an offshore sportsbook. Up until now, I've just been using Paysafecard to fund specific sites directly, but now I’m looking to cash out a set amount of winnings. My current plan is to set up a PayPal account, move the funds there, and then try to transfer them to a local retail betting shop—something like a Wingo or a local convenience store lounge where you can collect cash without having to actually place a bet—to pick it up in person. Is there a more straightforward path than that?
Also, does the money hit the PayPal account instantly, or is there some kind of waiting period, like an hour or a day, before the balance actually settles? I’m assuming it’s immediate, but since I’m still pretty green at this, I figured it was worth asking.😉
Thanks for bearing with me...

If you're seeing that message, I suspect you might have accidentally selected a non-betting account type when you were setting up your PayPal profile. You should probably try reaching out via the help center email, or if your English is decent, just give them a call to negotiate changing your account type. https://help.paypal.com/en/Article/g.../account-types

So far, I’ve just been using Paysafecards directly on certain sites, but now I want to cash out some winnings. I’d need to set up a PayPal account first, move the funds there, and then somehow get it to an American retail spot—like a 7-Eleven or something where you can grab cash without even placing a bet—to pick it up in person. Or is there a simpler way?
Also, does the money hit the PayPal account instantly, or do I have to wait a few hours or a day for it to clear? I'm assuming it's immediate, but I'm asking because I'm new to this.😉
Thanks for understanding...

If you had actually read the last few pages of this thread, everything would be crystal clear. But apparently, reading is too much work for some people. And it looks like it's even harder to check the posts right above yours where someone already answered the question about withdrawing from PayPal.🙂
To answer you: money hits the sportsbook from PayPal instantly, but moving it from the sportsbook back to PayPal depends entirely on the site. I recently withdrew from Bet365 and it cleared in less than 24 hours. Put in a little effort and you'll figure it out.

Is it even possible to find a straight answer to such a question? Honestly, I suspect it might be far more productive to simply pose the inquiry itself and then sit back, crossing my fingers, hoping that someone—anyone!—might deign to provide an answer, even if that exact same question has already been asked at least five times within the last few pages of this thread!

I think I’ve managed to find some answers to my own questions, but I wanted to double-check something. Since I started playing through DraftKings, I was wondering if the minimum withdrawal is actually $50? Is it impossible to take anything less than that out of my account, regardless of whether I'm using Venmo or PayPal?

Andrew Howard14 said:If that’s what the message says, you likely checked the box during your PayPal account setup that restricts it from being used for betting. Your best bet is to shoot them an email through their help center or, if you're comfortable with it, give them a call to request a change to your account type. https://help.paypal.com/en/Article/g.../account-types

But where exactly can I go in my settings to see if I accidentally toggled that option? Honestly, I don't recall being asked to make a choice like that at any point during the registration process. My English isn't exactly top-tier, so I might have missed something buried in the fine print...

If I remember correctly, they don't ask anything during sign-up. It happens when you go to deposit via PayPal and they ask if you intend to use those funds for betting.

Thanks a lot—I've been digging through my PayPal settings and haven't found a thing.

If that’s what their official site says, then that's just how it is. Honestly, why bother piling up a mountain of redundant questions that have already been answered a hundred times by other people on here?

I’ve been digging through my settings trying to find where that's listed, but I'm coming up empty-handed. Any idea where that's tucked away?

Hey, I’ve been betting through BetMGM for a while now and I finally want to cash out. I used a prepaid card to deposit, and since I don't have a PayPal account, a direct wire transfer seems like the easiest route. Though, looking at the terms, it looks like the minimum withdrawal is $100..
When I try to set up the bank transfer, I enter my bank and my account number, but then it asks for a BIC or SWIFT code. I'm a bit lost here—can anyone explain what I actually need to put in that field? Thanks for bearing with me.

Every single bank operates under its own unique BIC/SWIFT code, you know? For instance, if you were looking at Chase, their specific identifier would be N/A. It really is best practice to head straight over to the bank's official website to verify exactly which one they use before you send any funds!
