I need some help here

I just loaded some funds onto my Visa debit card today. I tried to make a deposit on DraftKings, but it keeps telling me the transaction was declined by my bank. I’ve double-checked everything and all the details are entered correctly. Can anyone tell me what might be going on? Is it an issue with the card itself—like, does it specifically require a chip, or could it be because the money was just deposited today? The ATM shows the balance is definitely there, so the cash is available.

Please let me know if you have any ideas ASAP.

So, I just had some cash deposited onto my Visa debit card today. I tried using it to fund my account over at DraftKings, but I keep getting this error message saying the transaction was declined by my bank. I've double-checked everything—every single digit and expiration date is spot on! Does anyone have any clue what might be going on? Is it possible it's an issue with the card itself? Like, does it need to have a specific chip, or could it just be because the money was put in so recently? I checked the ATM and the balance definitely shows the deposit went through perfectly fine!!!

Please, if anyone knows, let me know ASAP!

Is that a Bank of America card?

Look, just head down to your local bank branch and politely ask them to unblock your card or enable online shopping permissions. If they start grilling you about why you need it, just tell them you’re planning to grab something online—seriously, don't mention anything about betting sites! I actually tried to load some money for a poker game once, and my transaction got shot down immediately. I ended up just giving up on it because, honestly, who wants to lose money on fees and headaches? < thanks, not >. I know for a fact that Chase can be a total pain with their card restrictions and online stuff, whereas a buddy of mine uses Bank of America and he never runs into any of this nonsense; his transfers go through smooth as silk without a single hiccup.

If they start prying about what you're actually buying, just tell them you're picking something up on Amazon or eBay—don't you dare mention anything about a sportsbook. I tried doing the same thing to fund some poker games once, and the transfer got blocked too, so I just gave up on the whole thing (thanks a lot) because I didn't feel like losing money left and right. I know Chase can be a nightmare with these card and internet restrictions, whereas a buddy of mine uses Bank of America and he transfers funds without any hiccups whatsoever; he's never dealt with this kind of nonsense.

Who are these idiots working there? They have the nerve to ask me what I'm using it for, so I told her I was buying stuff from Amazon and eBay and she was totally fine with it... I totally misunderstood when you mentioned Chase earlier; I thought you meant a specific local bank, but if Chase is being this difficult, then what's the actual issue here? :S

I totally blanked when you mentioned the local branch—I was thinking about Bank of America, and honestly, Chase wasn't even on my mind, so why am I even stressing over this? :S

Just scan their card, man. It’s literally written right there a few posts up...

Hey everyone! Can someone help me out here? I'm trying to wrap my head around Asian handicap and Asian total goals. Could someone explain the second one specifically, please?
What would this look like, for example?
Asian total goals (2.25)

Keith Lee94 I can't even begin to describe how much this absolutely grinds my gears! It’s like people just don't think before they open their mouths anymore. I was sitting there, minding my own business, when I saw this absolute nonsense being peddled, and honestly? My blood started boiling. You see this kind of thing all over the internet lately—just pure, unadulterated chaos disguised as an opinion. It makes me want to throw my laptop out the window! Honestly, if we don't start holding people accountable for this level of sheer stupidity, we're all doomed. It's ridiculous. Just completely ridiculous.
Hey guys, can someone please break down what Asian Handicap actually means? And specifically, I really need someone to explain the Asian Total Goals thing—I'm totally lost on that one.
What exactly is this supposed to mean? Like, seriously?
Asian Total Goals (2.25) – let’s talk about this one because it drives me absolutely insane. If you don't know what you're doing, you're basically handing your money over to the house for no reason. Here's the deal: when you bet on an Asian Total of 2.25, you aren't just making one bet; you're splitting your stake right down the middle. Half your money goes on Over 2 goals, and the other half goes on Over 2.5 goals. It’s a split bet designed to give you a little bit of a safety net, but man, it can be a total headache if you aren't paying attention. If the game ends with exactly two goals—say, a boring 1-1 draw or a 2-0 shutout—you don't lose everything like a complete amateur. Because half your bet was on "Over 2," that portion gets refunded to you. You only "lose" half your stake. It’s a partial loss. But if three or more goals get scored? Boom. You win the whole thing. It’s a way to hedge your bets when you think a game is going to be high-scoring, but you're terrified those two early goals might be the only ones we see before everyone starts playing defensive soccer. It’s cautious, it’s calculated, and honestly, it's probably smarter than most of the degenerate gamblers I see blowing their entire paycheck on a single parlay. Just watch your math, folks.

If they manage to score two goals, you get half your stake back!

Editor: Look, let me be clear—if you’re betting the over, fine. But if you’re playing the under and exactly two goals get scored, you only walk away with half your winnings. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Hey everyone! If I set up my profile at DraftKings using a name without any special accents and just put in a standard US city name, am I going to run into trouble later when it comes to getting my payouts? Or will I even make it to that stage anyway?

Anyone got a solid recommendation for an online casino where I can hit the roulette tables with a tiny 10-cent minimum?

thanks 🙂

I’ve got a Bank of America card, but there isn't a CVC code on the back for online shopping... how am I supposed to find that number, and does my card even have one? Do I seriously have to trek down to the bank to get a whole new card just to get that code? Thanks!

Just hit up the bank. Ask them if you need a whole new account or if they can just issue a card with a CVC on your current one.

FanDuel.win is handing out a $5.00 bonus just for signing up. I actually managed to turn those $5.00 into a decent little pile of cash already, but now I'm wondering if anyone knows how the payout process works there? Do they actually pay out, or do they start making things difficult once you try to withdraw?

The games should have wrapped up by now, yet I haven't heard a single word from DraftKings. Is this standard procedure?

I noticed that DraftKings offers a specific bonus when you place a bet, but if I want to actually withdraw that cash, I have to wager the full bonus amount at least 50 times over.

So, here's what I'm wondering—if the bonus is 100 Dollars, does that mean I have to deposit five separate chunks of 100 Dollars, or can I just chip away at it by doing 100 bets of 5 Dollars each (or whatever combo works) until I hit that total '500 Dollars' turnover requirement?

Well, look, there's always a specific rollover requirement for those $5.00 funds. If you've hit that target, you should be able to withdraw without any drama 🤷
total rip-off

😲 It’s basically like they tell you "here's 100 Dollars" just so you can keep spinning the wheel until you're completely broke 🙄

Total scam

Check .. so what I mean is, if I just played two tickets .. like one for 10 and another for $1.75 .. and I won on one but lost on the other .. and then kept playing using the winnings .. what does that actually mean?

From what I can gather, it says $5.00 without any strings attached... so you shouldn't have to flip anything to get it. You should be able to just grab your cash. Why not just try making a withdrawal and see?

Check out what it says right on their site:
