It works perfectly fine over at William Hill. You just enter 12.50 Euro instead of $33, for instance—and they show up in your account immediately.

hmm... $167=63.62 USD
The exchange rate they offer is honestly abysmal, though I suppose having alternative payment methods comes with its own particular tax.

Has anyone actually tried topping up their Bet365 account using Paysafecard codes bought at local convenience stores here in the States?

I tried doing it today, but it wouldn't go through—it basically told me the merchant doesn't accept PSC vouchers issued in America.

Now I'm thinking about loading the voucher onto Neteller first and then moving it to Bet365, but looking at the deposit options, I don't even see Paysafecard listed, even though someone mentioned a few posts up that you can use PSC via Neteller.
I just don't get it—what's the actual difference between a PSC bought here in the US versus one from Europe?

The difference is simply that online gambling is perfectly legal in Europe, whereas here in the US, things are much more restricted.
From what I've gathered, these specific vouchers can really only be used for gaming sites.

Online betting isn't banned here in the States,
Paysafecard just recently kicked things off in America, but since their cards are issued in Dollars while the rest of the world uses Euros, it’s created a massive headache for online bookies.

I read on another site that William Hill is already accepting Paysafecard in Dollars, and Bet365 should be following suit any day now. Some people have already reached out to Bet365 support and were told they’ll have this sorted out within a few days, if they haven't already.

but since Paysafecard just started operating here and the cards are issued in Dollars while everything else in the US moves toward different standards, that's where the friction lies with online bookies.

From what I've gathered on another site, William Hill already accepts Paysafecard in Dollars, and Bet365 should be following suit shortly; apparently, some people have reached out to Bet365 support and were told they’d have this sorted out within days, if they haven't already.

I don't want to sound like a broken record by repeating myself for the fiftieth time on this thread, so please just check the last similar post.

If you look there, you'll see how much leeway there actually is regarding betting with foreign bookmakers.☕

Video games are perfectly legal—even if they drive people to madness and addiction—and PSC vouchers work fine for them; however, using those same vouchers for betting is currently restricted, and it has nothing to do with which currency the voucher was issued in.
In the US, we deal in Dollars, and everything is standardized in Dollars (except maybe some specific tolls, if I recall correctly); even with Western Union, you aren't typically swapping Euros or other currencies, you're dealing in Dollars.

The exchange rate always takes a hit because you're paying margins to voucher vendors, taxes, and so on, but every method of transferring money comes with its own price tag, including PSC vouchers.
Their website features a currency calculator, so you can easily figure out which currencies you can load onto your Dollar voucher at a participating retailer.🙂

If anyone managed to use a voucher at a bookie recently, that was likely during the first few days of implementation; for now, it's effectively blocked.
Once things fully integrate with broader international standards, the issue should vanish; it reminds me of how Germany tried to ban betting and ultimately failed.
Aside from the US, which is its own unique beast, only places like France, Germany, and Denmark have any real restrictions on online betting, and even then, it only applies to a handful of bookmakers.

Take a look at how much online betting at foreign bookies is actually allowed.☕

Video games are legal (even if they ruin lives and cause massive addiction), and Paysafecard vouchers work for them. The issue is that the sportsbook itself is illegal, and currently, the voucher isn't working. That has nothing to do with which currency was used to buy it.
In America, we use the Dollar, and everything is handled in Dollars (except maybe some specific tolls). You can't just walk into a Western Union and send or receive Euros or other currencies easily; you deal in Dollars.

The exchange rate sucks because you have to cover the margin for voucher dealers, taxes, and whatnot, but every way you move money comes with a fee, including Paysafecard.
Their website has a currency calculator, so you can easily see which currencies you can deposit using your Dollar voucher when dealing with a merchant that accepts Paysafecard.🙂

If someone managed to use a voucher at a sportsbook before, that was during the early days. As of now, it’s prohibited.
Once we fully integrate further, these issues should vanish. It's like how Germany tried to ban betting and failed miserably.
Aside from the US, which is its own special case, only places like France, Germany, and Denmark have certain restrictions on online betting, and even then, it only affects a tiny handful of sportsbooks.

It's not banned; Paysafecard works perfectly fine on William Hill and all the others. The bottleneck happened because the vouchers were issued in one currency while people had accounts set up in another. By Monday, things should be back up and running on Bet365. Contact info@paysafecard.com and you'll see that everything is under control and being sorted out. These companies are just starting to scale their operations in the US; give them some time to get their act together.

As for that Law of the United States you posted, I don't see anything in there stating that online betting is prohibited.

Skrill Moneybookers or Mastercard? Pretty sure I used Mastercard last time... can't quite remember.

Yeah, probably. It won't let me use anything else and I have no clue why they even list those options if they don't work. Now I'm stuck because I don't have any other cards from their lineup.

redmarlin8 said:Yeah, that’s probably the case. For some reason, they won't let me use any other method, so what's the point of keeping it there if it doesn't work? I'm stuck because I don't have any other cards from their selection.

Just use Skrill Moneybookers or Neteller.

I am considering opening accounts with both Pinnacle and Betfair. Could anyone advise me on which card would be the most reliable option for this, and by any chance, do they accept Maestro / Cirrus cards? Thanks a lot.

So, how do you actually pull off a system bet on Bet365? I'm pretty much the new kid on the block over there, so I haven't quite wrapped my head around all the nuts and bolts yet.

Just hit Multi Bet Options—it’s right under the picks you made—and pick your system, whether it's a single, double, or whatever. Just a heads-up: the stake you enter for a system isn't the total amount. It's per combination. So, if you have 3 pairs and go with a 2/3 system (a double), that’s 3 combinations. If you put down $1, that's just for one combo, meaning your actual total bet will be $3.

Alright, I just picked something out of a hat.

Singles—yeah, I get those.
Is Doubles basically just a 2/3 system?
And Trebles being 3/3, I'm with you there.
But what about a Trixie?

A Trixie is a 3,4/4 setup.😉

Honestly, I'd say 2.3/3 is more likely.🙂
