Man, that guy almost slammed right into the exact same barrier that Lewis Hamilton hit earlier.😂

Hopefully my guys burned through all the bad luck today... (just watching Lewis spin out... he bit the dust way too early on the first corner and everything went south... Lewis did too, but he fared a bit better...) hopefully that's enough for this weekend and things look up for the rest of the week. Still waiting on that rain 😎

Won't be able to catch qualifying, though it looks like it could get pretty intense... what a joke 😠

Red Bull is looking lightning fast...
I honestly can't tell how much they're actually outpacing Ferrari and McLaren, mostly because those guys haven't even bothered to push for faster times yet.

It looks like Ferrari was testing out their wet-weather setup during the first free practice session. If the forecast holds, the rain should taper off by this time tomorrow, though we might still deal with some scattered showers leaving the track damp just in time for qualifying.
Who do you think walks away with pole position in those conditions? 😁

Who do you guys think actually nails those qualifying sessions? 😁

Red Bull

Honestly, if Ferrari doesn't test that rain setup during the second practice session, they're basically toast.😁

Well, Red Bull is just on another level right now. It’s tough for anyone else to find an opening. So far, Kamui Kobayashi has been trailing behind Nick throughout the sessions. Meanwhile, they're still tinkering with Lewis Hamilton's car with only 20 minutes left on the clock in FP2.

Red Bull is looking dominant. I can't help but wonder: will that rain they've been forecasting actually hit tomorrow? And if it does, how much will it mess with Sunday's race, assuming the teams optimize for dry conditions during Saturday's qualifying? It’s a real headache!

Seeing the RB6 out on the track😲...I mean, what's there left to expect?🤷 The car is such a beast that it feels like the circuits were practically paved specifically for it; it’s just this half-baked crew making rookie mistakes, colliding with each other, and barking out terrible orders. It's honestly frustrating because if they hadn't tripped over their own feet, we probably would have seen one of the greatest engineering minds of the last 15 years—Adrian Newey—blow the competition away by mid-season and build a points lead so massive that nobody could even dream of catching them.☕

By the way... my guys had their crash tests today🤣 , so let's just hope this streak of bad luck stays stuck
on this specific day🙂

for today 🙂

Practice is a joke🤣

The lap times from practice are just as ridiculous. You could bet money that Sebastian Vettel's time won't be enough to make it into Q3☕

Sure, if it starts raining, things will look incredibly fast again, but the reality is that last year at US Japan 10.10.2010 during qualifying they hit: 1.30.341, and not a single race this season has seen a slower time than last year under normal conditions☕

Meanwhile, Nico Rosberg was sitting at 1.31.286, which put him 11th and out of Q3☕

You can dream about turbo dominance with a 1.31.465🤣

Practice times don't mean a thing, and honestly, you could probably bet your life savings that Sebastian Vettel's pace right now won't be enough to even sniff Q3☕

I mean, sure, if it starts pouring rain, the track will look lightning fast again, but let's look at the reality—last year at the US Suzuki circuit during qualifying, we saw a 1.30.341, and not a single race this season has even come close to being that slow under normal conditions☕

While Nico Rosberg was sitting there with a 1.31.286, trailing by eleven spots and missing out on Q3 entirely☕

You can dream about some turbo-charged dominance with a 1.31.465 if you want, but I doubt it🤣

So practice is irrelevant, yet here we are comparing this year's practice laps to last year's qualifying times👍
When those guys finally get the RB6 out on the track, all you're going to see are two tiny blurs in the rearview mirror—one red and one silver🤣🤣

When the RB6 pulls away, all you'll see in the rearview mirror are two little spots—one red and one silver. 🤣🤣

You can't even see silver in the mirror, and a rearview mirror isn't big enough to cover the exit zones anyway. 😬
As for the red car, you'll just be left staring at a cloud of smoke. 🤣

The spot will be yellow. 😉

P.S.: And why on earth would I compare a dry practice session to one in the rain? 😂

the smudge would've been yellow😉

P.S.: Not like I could really compare a dry practice session to one in the rain, anyway😂

You're overthinking it 😁

And looking in the rearview—Mark Webber's car just keeps getting closer and closer and closer and... 🤣 🤣

Whether those practice sessions were a joke or not, seeing Robert Kubica nail such a strong position in Q1 and Q2 feels like a much-needed balm for the soul. Lap times are shifting drastically, but since the gaps remain relatively consistent, everyone seems to benefit equally as the pace climbs and the track surface gets more aggressive.

Wet qualifying sessions are basically a lottery.
And if the track stays inconsistently damp? Then you’re looking at an even bigger gamble. That means today's dominance isn't necessarily a guarantee for tomorrow, or even the day after.

If we end up seeing massive Red Bull dominance—which, let's face it, is entirely possible—then the goal is just damage control.
For Ferrari, the only real disaster would be a win for Mark Webber. Anything else is manageable, provided we actually pull off a decent result ourselves.

I don't expect Lewis Hamilton to be much of a threat up front. Losing 40 or 50 practice laps is hard to shake off, though maybe he can claw some of that time back on the simulators. Still, I'd love to see him fighting for position and actually staying ahead of Mark Webber.

It looks like it's starting to rain, so we might be looking at a wet qualifying session 😁
At the very least, the track is going to be damp during Q1 🙏🙏🙏

Tomorrow we’re looking at rain and pure chaos, and just when everyone thinks they know who the title contenders are, Grandpa steps up to show them how it’s actually done on his old Suzuki...

😂😂😂😂

I happened to stumble upon this video recently, and I found myself thinking about how much it makes you reflect on things we often take for granted. It’s one of those pieces that really sticks with you, isn't it? There is a certain quality to the way it unfolds—it doesn't rush you, nor does it try too hard to force an emotion. Instead, it just exists, allowing the viewer to sit with their own thoughts while the imagery plays out. It reminds me a bit of those quiet Sunday afternoons spent just watching the world go by from a porch in a small town somewhere in the Midwest. You know that feeling? That sense of stillness where the noise of the world finally seems to dim down just enough for you to hear yourself think? I wonder if we lose that ability more often than we realize. In a culture that is constantly demanding our immediate attention and pushing us toward the next big thing, can we still find the patience to appreciate something that simply *is*? It’s a question I find myself circling back to quite frequently lately. Anyway, I thought it was worth sharing here. If you have a few minutes to spare and aren't looking for anything loud or frantic, this might be exactly what your afternoon needs. What did you all make of it? Does it evoke that same sense of quiet contemplation for you, or am I just getting a bit sentimental in my old age? 🙏🙏🙏
